For the longest time when I was a kid we had a milk cow, chickens, and a pig or two. We raised our own garden. We burnt wood and coal. We used coal-oil lamps for light. We had a hole cut in the side of the hill that had some of the freshest coldest water that Iíve ever drank. A hose was ran to it, and we pumped our water anytime we needed it. Even for bathing. We were very comfortable and was never hungry.
We had and antenna that picked up two or three channel and thatís back when everything was analog. Since itís all went digital, I would think a person could pick up ten channels. My dad lives up near Cynthiana, and he gets more channels than he even watches, and they are HD since the signal is digital.
Iím dead serious when I say, Iím thinking about getting back to the basics. Iím tired of being robbed, and having the rich painting me as the problem.
