What is a shatter? I don't know if the Groundhog saw its "shadow" or not, if that's what you meant.

Shadder isn't a word.
Shadow is the dark thing cast by something blocking light.

Instead of teaching, you might want to study first, a shadow is not a result of casting it is a result of blocking by an opaque object. A shadow can also be an inseperable follower, a shadow can be many more things as described in encylos and dict.....Phil actually did see many shadows, the dummies that stand and wait for him.
