So you want to help keep drunk drivers and people high on pills on the street so they can run over and kill one of our children or slam into our mom's who are driving home from Black Friday shopping?

You are a loser. You have no moral values. Instead of tryign to protect innoncent people, you are warning the criminals?

If someone is going to be killed by a drunk driver, I hope it is someone in your family, not mine.

If hoping those who are sinning, and breaking the law, and putting my family in danger, gets hurt or killed before my own family, who is not sinning, and breaking the law, and putting your family in danger, then I'm guilty as charged.

They will change their minds when one of their kids or family members is hurt or killed by a drunk driver.. I hope they catch every one of them. People are stupid and selfish for putting other peoples lives at risk by driving high or drunk. If you wanna get drunk stay home and do it. Every time you see someone that is driving like they are drunk you should call 911 and report them :)

You are living proof that Ron White was correct when he said "You can't fix stupid."

And you are as stupid as they get. But you got that from your mom. She was stupid, too.

Do you know how stupid you sound to be on the side of the drunk drivers?

Have you seen the destruction and pain caused by drunk drivers when they slam into innoncent families and kill young children and old ladies and innoncent people in general?

The fact that you are on the side of the drunk drivers and want them to get away with their crimes just shows what a low life you are.

If a drunk driver slams into my wife and child and hurts them or kills them, he better step out of his car and put a gun to his head and blow his brains out, because that will be light compared to the pain and suffering he will go through at the hands of me.

I lost my dad and two cousins to drunk driving accidents, and this is no joke.

I also watched a 4 year old lay in the streets and die after a drunk driver ran over her in their own drive way. She was running to tell her mom bye when a drunk backed over her and thought it was a rock, so he went on. When he found out what he had done, he then tried to run from the cops. It took me two months to finally catch up to him, and when I did, I delivered him to the police station myself with a gun to his head. Had he tried to run, or fight, I would have put him down on the spot.

Drunk driving is no joke. The sad thing is, the drunk driver almost always lives.

The poster never said "hey fellow drunks, beware they'll get you at this location". He/she simple stated there was a roadblock there..which could be a heads up to simple avoid that area if you need to be getting somewhere quick.(Like work) Or haven't fixed that taillight yet and don't want a ticket tonight?

I highly doubt someone drinking would even be reading topix.

No disrespect to those who lost family/friends to drunks..I agree..get them off the road...BUT don't be so quick to judge or assume.

Just like everywhere in the mountains, there is one road in and one road out. You can't go two or three blocks over and avoid the traffic. This isn't Lexington or Knoxville, this is Barbourville.

You highly doubt someone would be drinking and reading Topix? That is funny. The large majority of people on Topix is either drinking or doing drugs. Topix is full of low-life nobodies, and yes that includes me. No self-respecting person would post anything on here.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm a drug addict. Never touched a pill in my life. Not even when perscribed to me. Never touched cocaine or heroine. But I've battled an addiction to marijuana for almost 35 years. It's like cigarettes to me. Hard to stop. Get up in the morning and crave it. Have major mood swings whe I don't have it.

Now, I've not touched it in a few months, but just like an alcholic is always an alcholic even when they've stopped drinking, an addict is an addict even when they are not using.

But if I didn't have issues both in life and in my head, I would not come on here and argue and debate things with other people who obviously have issues both in life and in the head.

If you didn't have mental issues of some sort, no way you would come on here and talk about the crap we talk about. And that's not directed at you, that's directed at all 138 people currently viewing the Knox Co. topix site.

But no matter how bad my issues are, I do not condone drunk driving. I've lost too many loves ones because of it. And yes, I did drive with marijuana in my system, but I've smartened up over time. I no longer do it. I was wrong for doing it. But I no longer do it because it is wrong and because I don't want to hurt some innoncent person because of my stupidity.
