Many blacks are still running around crying that their ancestors were slaves. So were many white people. They are in reality still slaves. Those that have lived generations on the welfare system, being kept up by the government instead of a "master". The difference is the Master would put them out to work!
You're right about this.

I don't watch the sci fi channel. Turn off your tv and actually do some research. Start with the Annunaki. Your comment is proof of our primitive minds.

Racism is rooted deeply in ignorance plain and simple. I'm black and feel in no way threatened by a discussion about racism. Matter of fact i prefer to discuss it, at depth and sincerely. Like it or not, it's a part of the human experience. We can only benefit from treating each other as what we are brothers and sisters. It's important to understand how interwoven we truly are. Everything on this planet and universe for that matter is connected in a very intricate way. From the granite on Mt. Everest to the tiny piece of corn that seems to take delight in getting stuck between your teeth. We are the culmination of stardust. Everything is energy, molecules and atoms moving at great speeds. We jus happened to b spliced with a soul. We all fit into some niche, and to b honest I don't think there are 6 degrees of seperation btween any of us. Also, anyone can b a victim of senseless racism, but perhaps the anomosity towards broaching the subject with some minorities, comes from the prolonged exposure to different degrees of racism, with different frequency. It's one thing to experience it a handful of times, and another completely to b subjected to it countless times over the course of ones existence. Regardless any opportunity to talk about it should be welcomed and embrassed. It may help further someones understanding. 1 person makes it worthwhile.

Me and you (for example) have always been able to discuss these issues with each other, although we're from two different ethnic groups.

Are you back home now, my friend?

I have only had one TRULY racist moment.... and it was Black against me. I worked with a African American woman....my supervisor asked me to help her get more work out... I was nice, polite, and really just doing my job. She went in the office saying I was calling her names and being racist. I DID NOT DO THAT..... I was really hurt that she would try to get me fired for helping her.

Hell yes I'm back, for good this time. I'm at Ft. Knox medically retiring from the Army. I've grown wary of the whole oligarchy. Different strokes you know? Also, I agree with you. You've always been logical and analytical, which are two things that don't often coincide on this site. I look forward to more discussions.
