I dont know if he aaccepts them from new patients or not.I was his patient since birth.I became disabled and I guess he had to take it.I got the feeling he didnt like it after what he said to me.I told my new DR this and he said its probably because they dont get the full payment from the cards.I believe him and its sad.Greed!
I guess if he accepts medical cards that makes him a hypocrite. Christian or not.

I just want to say there are some people with real problems that draws SSI not everybody is fakers. Dr. Ashburn shouldn't even be a doctor I know someone who was born with a heart disease and even had multiple open heart surgeries and he tried to talk against them. I can't think right off but, there is a disability lawyer if I'm not mistaken in Barbourville his last name is Baker I'm pretty sure of I can't think of his first name though. I've heard that Dr. West is pretty good but, when you sign up on disability they send you to their doctors for some different types of exams.

I also forgot to include that you do have to have a regular doctor to say that your disabled for someone who posted that said you didn't. However they send you to their doctors to, to get second opinions.

No lawyer can help without a doctor. you must be declared disabled by a doctor and take it from there and you have to have medical records of your condition. I know of people who signed up and died before they got theirs. Or maybe draw one check and die.Go to www.socialsecurity.gov and you will find what you have to have.

Not many doctors will actually say that their patient is disabled but their physical/mental conditions are documented in their medical records. That could be enough depending on what's in the records. You need to talk to someone who is experienced in cases of these types.

well i have to say paul baker took my case. he is a good lawyer on disability claims. and barbourville family health is completely against anyone signing up on disability. i know this from seeing them , and i changed doctors i knew their was something wrong with me and they wasn't gonna help me . there is no cure for the disease i have and well i got turned down 2 times till i got my social security . but i can say everyone that is on a check isnt just being lazy , i loved to work , and would love to be working now . but i know that i cant. and never will be again. and yes i am very young and am on disability. i dont see nothing wrong with being on a check every month, if you really need it. i do wish everyday that i wasnt sick .

I know its a Drs office but that kinda like the bill of rights 4 unreasonable searches and seizures of your body fluids and blood before you can receive medical care are we all criminals now in Barbourville and Knox co? need out blood drawn and body fluids looked at under a microscope? You know that is just not rite its plain wrong , people are already sick when they go to the Dr and then they treat you like a criminal in the office its ruining our nation and the way people think about there self makes you think you may be a drug addict or a bad person because your blood is taken and your body fluids, unreasonable searches and seizures of ones blood and body in a medical setting .

Don't know what doctor would throw his/her practitioner license out the door. But if you wait awhile your Congress, Senate and President will take care of you. Maybe you should call your congressman and ask for his advice.

There are those who never get their disability and they are really sick. There was a man who had a stroke, heart attack and the worst kind of diabetis but his sorry lawyer let his time elapse and didn't appeal. That man deserved his like others he had worked since he was a teenager,he needed medical attention. There are real sick and there are wanna be's.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS? YOUR HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED..
Basically what you should do is just apply for SSI, if they can't get enough medical records on you, they will schedule you to see their doctors. That way they will know you are sick and that you need SSI. Good Luck.
