I guess, my friend, that you must have missed the part about Cheney having to divest himself of all his holdings, which could even possibly be construed to be a conflict of interest. It cost him millions of dollars, to do this, just to be Vice-President. Of course, you will believe what you choose to believe, but you can check it out. It's all there in the records. Bush had to do the same thing, but it didn't cost him nearly as much, because most of his wealth was made in selling his interest in the Texas Rangers' baseball team, and that didn't even come close to Cheney's.

You expect me to believe Cheney lost? It may have moved from his name directly, but I'm sure it is tied up in ghost names and accounts. People like him make their wealth by hiding it well!

Arizona representative Trent Franks said it best:

"President Barack Obama owes former President George W. Bush and those Americans who died fighting in Iraq an apology", after attending a classified briefing on ISIS.

Franks read excerpts from remarks Bush made in 2007 about the situation in Iraq.
“‘To begin withdrawing before our commanders tell us we are ready… would mean surrendering the future of Iraq… It would mean that we’d be risking mass killings on a horrific scale… It would mean we’d be increasing the probability that American troops would have to return at some later date to confront an enemy that is even more dangerous,’” Franks quoted Bush.

I'm ready to get a Republican back in office. Let them finish what they started. They destroyed any incentive to save money. They encouraged corporations to screw the little guys. They labeled everything "WAR ON TERROR" to distract the public. I'm tired of hearing you guys whining about our current president.

Bush can establish anything he wants. But, once he is out of office, the next president doesn't have to follow through with it. So I am still missing your point - other than you just don't want to admit how much of a failure your president is.

You just proved my point, my friend, but have a nice day, anyway! This is the reason that I rarely, if at all, comment on anything political, on this site anymore. Your mind is made up, and there is no room for consideration of another opinion. This is why I only post jokes. Otherwise, this site is just a waste of my time.

I see your mind is flexible too. It is not that my mind is made up, I remember the events as they happened. I remember the 'red letter dates' of Bush mistakes. I knew as soon as he opened his mouth, trouble would result. I only state the facts as I saw them unfold. You can spin it any way you want.
