First of all lets talk about what it is:\\

A Pelvic floor exercise, more commonly called a Kegel exercise (named after Dr. Arnold Kegel), consists of contracting and relaxing the muscles that form part of the pelvic floor, which are now sometimes colloquially referred to as the "Kegel muscles".

Ok, heres how to do them:

Kegel exercises are one of the best ways to strengthen pelvic muscles naturally. It has many benefits for women with no negative side effects. All you need is a little time and concentration. It can also be done anywhere

Locate your pelvic muscles (aka PC muscles)

To find your pelvic muscles, first lie on your back. Squeeze the muscles around the private .

Tip: Imagine that muscle like a fist. Just as you clench your fist, clench those muscles.
Note: This muscle is also known as the PC muscle (Pubococcygeus muscle)

Kegel exercises are actually for everyone, not just for the ladies. Anyway, I'm into it not because someone told me so but because of the benefits I get with it. The first few attempts were unsuccessful, this is to be expected, nonetheless I'm a pro now! If you want to start your kegel journey, head over to this link

Kegel is said to be very effective against urinary stress incontinence, which was often treated using a surgical mesh. However, many who received this type of implant suffered consequences later on. If you're one of those people, you need to know that there is help available.

Doctors often recommend non-operative remedies, such as Kegels, to women with mild prolapse or incontinence issues. However, women with symptoms which no longer respond to non-invasive treatments may be asked to undergo surgery that may even involve the use of surgical mesh. It was really disheartening though when I found out from symptoms-of-failure/ that these implants have rather been a greater source of pain and suffering to recipients than the condition for which they are being used.
