no i did a custom install of windows 7 and most newer laptop dont come with restore disk they have a recover partition on the hard drive to restore the os you have to order a recover disk or make one your self any driver you need just go to hp support and download tham and install tham

I bought a brand new HP desktop and it lasted about a year before the hard drive crashed. Always buy DELL they last forever. I have a DELL laptop that is 6 years old that is as fast as the day I got it. Never crashed or had any problems that I couldn't resolve. Just saying...........

that because most have wd blue 5400rpm hard drivers in tham any laptop running windows 7 or 8 need a 7200rpm hadrdrive in it andwhen on crashed its not the hard drive its that the os is damaged form a program you installed or update gone bad or malware or virus
