There are actually multiple contracts inside the building.. Such as FBI (likely the one that is hiring, as it is there busy season & when I say busy, I mean busy.. You won't have a life outside the place).. USCIS (Immigration contract; more difficult than FBI)... DOL (Just hired a few, one of the more difficult contracts)... HHS & Grants (neither of which I know a lot about, except for that they both pay more than the other contracts, but are more difficult).

If you are looking for somewhat flexible scheduling, the FBI section is your best bet.. As they are open until 1AM and on weeks too (364 days a year, Christmas being their only true day off). I believe there pay is something like 9.53 an hour... USCIS is 9.60 something an hour.

FBI isn't hiring now, will start back in August 2009, current pay is $9.30 per hour.

USCIS is always hiring, pay is $9.89 per hour. Schedules are flexible as long as you can attend 3 week traning course, 8:30am - 5:30pm M-F

Pay is great for this area.

I work at CSC in the CIS dept and as far as the hours we receive calls in it's 8am-6pm in every time zone. therefore after 6pm in everytime zone you cant get through...however workers at csc in the cis dept. are there until 9pm monday-friday so they can receive calls from the last time zone which is 3 hours behind us here in eastern time. hope that made sense.

I dont think Im confused about the hours.. I worked there three years, I should know.

I am not going to get on here and pull a bunch of BS lies like you do to callers..

"We're open nationwide until 6PM"

The easiest lie to tell =)

In other words, here where we work, in good ol' Barbourville Kentucky, we are open until 9PM M-F... And it was never ever 8:30AM to my knowledge. I have been there at 8AM a manyyyy of times.. May have only gotten two or three calls until 8:30AM, but nonetheless, it was 8AM.

If ya wanna get down to it... Yea, technically the only people we talk to after 6PM are those on the west coast and Hawaii... But, otherwise, in real time... You're there until 9PM on your time sheet.

Right and you didn't see what I was saying, they were talking about training hours, NOT working hours...you're the one stuck on that. Re-read it. They even say that you TRAIN during those hours...

As a matter of fact, here's the copy and pasted quote from what they said! "USCIS is always hiring, pay is $9.89 per hour. Schedules are flexible as long as you can attend 3 week traning course, 8:30am - 5:30pm M-F" See? They're talking about TRAINING.
