People need to stop running their mouths without knowing the story. The deputy for Knox Co Sherrifs dept was transporting people to jail from the BP in Flatlick. The deputy was driving at very high rates of speed and at 1 time my friend said she looked up and his speedometer said 110 mph. That is ridiculous to be going that fast, there was no reason he needed to be in such a hurry. He.was still doing over 100 mph when he approached the red light and hit the truck head on. The girls were handcuffed unable to catch themselves and were beaten up pretty bad, as far as we know the cop is alright. Thank goodness no one was seriously injured or killed in this ridiculous accident that could have been prevented had the deputy not been speeding. These deputies act like little punks and think their all big and bad and they are cocky as hell. Someone's going to wind up killed at the hands of these idiots and something needs done before it does. If anyone else would have been driving that fast and hit someone whether it was their fault it not we would be put under the jail. I'm just grateful no one was seriously hurt or killed but I agree there is a great case against the SO and they need to be held accountable...

You must be talking about yourself running your mouth because it is facts that you dont know what you are talking about.First of all i saw the cops car an it was hit in the side not in the front. An second of all it did'nt happen at the redlights it happened at the bank.If he was doing 110 miles per hour an hit someone head on he would'nt have damage on the side.lol.

yes you are right. So its not the jail systems fault her mom was injured in the first place.sounds like she was drunk or drugged and gave them a chase with caused her and the officer to wreck.I think if that officer dies she should be got for manslaughter.

The prisoners that was in the back seat of the cop car was taken to the hospital to be checked out then was taken to the jail.So they was checked out.The cop was also checked out an was sent home. There was no head on collision an there was no red lights around,an the cop was not going 110 miles an hour.He was hit by another car.

I believe this is the same cop thats wrecked a couple times before. This guy is a danger to anyone on the road around him.
He drives like he's going to a fire all the time. My mom saw the wreck and yes pretty sure he caused it. He pulled out in front of me just the other day with no lights on or anything. I'm surprised he hasn't killed someone before now. I hope those women that were in the cruiser with him file a lawsuit against the county and maybe the sheriff and the courts will do something with him. If it was anywhere but knox county he'd be prosecuted for wreck less driving. Maybe someone should go Barney Fife and pull a "citizens arrest" no one else is going too!!

I'm also sure the sheriffs office will work the wreck and "fix it" all up real nice!! The dent on the side was where he flipped it on his side. He hit that truck at Bradley Martin lane and slid to the bank!!if that was my family in there there would be some higher up investigation !!

That shows just how much you know about anything, when a cop wrecks they CAN'T work their on wreck,so no they did'nt fix it up.The state police worked the wreck,so i guess your going to say the state lied now,RIGHT.An i can see that you know nothing about what happen in the wreck...You sure can tell who the dope heads are around here, they are always on topix trying to down the cops.lol.I guess that shows the cops are doing their job.lol.

I was talking about the Guy in the pick up truck. I'm his wife. Im normally not a fan of topix but a friend found this and said I should read it. Its so funny how everyone fights about being the know it all and most only know hear say. I have lost of respect of the police city, county, and state so I don't wont to bad mounth any of them. However this cop was speeding and is lucky no one was killed. I just hope the outcome is fair and they can see he put everyone's life in danger. I'm glad no one was seriously injured. But again I hope he gets in trouble for speeding.

You are 100% right. We all break the laws of the highways. There's just some people that get on here an look for a reason to bitch about the law.I would like to see these people pull one good day of what the law has got to deal with EVERYDAY,then they might have a little respect for them.
