Armed and dangerous suspect being sought in the south eastern section of Laurel County and he may be heading to Knox County also

Sheriff John Root is reporting that Laurel Sheriff’s Deputies are attempting to locate a male subject who has been reported to be attempting to break in on as many as 4 homes while residents were home, and is armed with a suspected .22 caliber rifle, in the Brannon Mill Road, Echo Valley Road, and Ky 1023 area of south eastern Laurel County . The first report came in at approx. 9 A.M. Tuesday morning, as deputies responded to Brannon Mill Road, 9 miles southeast of London, that a male subject armed with a rifle had attempted a home invasion –the subject was not allowed entry to the home, and he fled on foot. Later in the morning, and early afternoon, the subject tried to force entry on at least 3 other homes in the area. The suspect is described as: a white male, age 50”s, tall, slender build, scuffy beard, glasses, cammo jacket, and cammo hat armed with a .22 caliber rifle.
This suspect may be the same suspect involved in an unsolved home invasion in that area the later part of last year that resulted in serious injury to a man.
The public is asked to be on the look out for this suspect who is considered to be armed and dangerous. If anyone observes him, they should immediately call 911.
Deputies involved in the investigation include: Deputy James Sizemore, Sgt. Josh Gaylor, Deputy Shane Rice, Constable Tim May, the U.S. Marshal Service, and Laurel County Emergency Management.
Laurel Sheriff’s Detective Charlie Loomis is continuing the investigation.

Update :

The suspect in this case is now identified as: Jeffery Sasser age 48 of Hopper Creek Road, London. He is considered to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts, or if anyone sees him, they are asked to immediately call 911. Laurel Sheriff’s Detective Daryl Zanet, along with Detective Charlie Loomis are leading the investigation.

Jeff may be armed, but dangerous I surely doubt. Armed and stupid, maybe. Or, maybe an armed imbecile. He's done this all his life, break into peoples homes. Someone is going to kill the idiot one of these days.

"a male subject armed with a rifle had attempted a home invasion –the subject was not allowed entry to the home, and he fled on foot."...lol That tell you something. The people have told him to puck off else they'd beat his arse...lol

I'd take his gun and beat him with it if he tried that here.

$699 dollars? Looks like a nice outfit, but I'd have to save up my pop cans to get one of those.

I'm wondering about that 3 megapixel camera. You reckon that'll be enough for quality images? Of course you can buy a 5Meg camera for it, but that things expensive.

It has mounts you can purchase for Canon and Nikon cameras. That would probably be the best and cheapest way to upgrade the image quality. You can pick up really decent digital Nikons in a few pawn shops around here.

Gary Bain, in Corbin has a bunch of digital cameras in a showcase up front of his store. But I never really paid close attention to them. Seem like I remember a few Nikons being in the bunch.

Ok, SLR is not like the digital cameras I'm used to messing around with.

SLR seems to be the cameras with the removable lens.

3 megapixels is fine for small images or lap top displays it would only matter if you wanted to print a larger print then it would get a bit blocky.. but think about your lap top .. 3 megapixel would be 1,500 X 1,500 pix screen resolution still pretty good resolution.. And It's really only to keep you haveing your eye stuck in the eye piece for hours looking for crap...

And I want a adapter for my Canon camera I take photos with and it's 16 megapixels.. They have them that you attach just like a regular lens and it slips into the eye piece mount.. With my camera I can still run a usb cable to the computer and actually control the camera from the lap top .. You can change all the camera settings and take snap shots or video without having to touch the camera and shaking it... I just didn't have the extra 75 bucks for the adapter until I save a few more penneys... I been saving to get a scope for a very long time...

Well SLR only means that you look through the Lens to shoot and a mirror moves out of the way when a shot is taken... So you can have a SLR with changeable lenses or fixed lens.. Remember the Fuji camera I talked to you about looking at a while back? That was my old one and it was a Fixed Lens SLR... but I got a Cannon 3ti which is a Changeable Lens SLR.. And being the Po Folk I am I have a bunch of old Minolta manual Lenses for my old 35mm film cameras that I haven't used in 20 years... So I bought a few minolta to canon eos lens adapters ... works like a charm...

Oh look, it's a (apparent) meeting of the blind and crippled senior citizens thread. I know for a fact "spacely" can't see 10 feet in front of him...

Apparently "Rumors" is in the same shape, shouldn't you two blind goof-balls, and that's putting it politely, be discussing where the discount's on bengay is?

Look there at, "sprockets" rambling on about not a thing...lol...I bet you're the old senile type that talks to themselves while on the toilet.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Sagittarius

It's important to be discriminating about what you say and believe today. That's because communications are rather strange, with people saying or doing odd things and plenty of scope for crossed wires. Be very careful if you're attending to important details because for some reason your brain may switch off at the vital moment, leaving you prone to making mistakes or losing track of what you're doing. Try to double-check anything important tomorrow when your brain is back in gear.
