NOT Christians.... You know.... the People that came AFTER Christ!
So....
NO God did not tell US to kill.....
You twist, and Lie!
Yet he instructs humans to murder. I am glad you feel you do not need to follow those instructions by the god of the bible.
None of what you said is relevant to the claim. God instructs man to kill.

<quoted text>Yet it is a hard fact that man has had civilizations for many thousands of years before this. Then there is hard evidence to show pre-civilization man has been here for many thousands of years before that.
So you can believe your bible, or you can believe evidence that contradicts the biblical claims.
There are many things in the Bible that are not literal. As a Christian, I understand that the 6 days of creation were not 6 periods, 23hr 56m long (the actual length of a day is not 24hrs). The 6 days are an example of how man is to operate in regards to work and the Sabbath. God worked for 6 days and on the 7th He rested (he didn't actually work and needs no rest, again it's an example for us). We are to work for 6 days and on the 7th rest. The 7th is the Sabbath and we are to keep it holy.
It is similar to Yeshua (the Hebrew name of Jesus) being the son of God. He is not literally the offspring of God. He is God. His relationship with us is like a parent and child. The relationship with God and Jesus is like a parent and child for many reasons that are seen through Biblical study.
So please don't get the beliefs of Jehovah's Witnesses and Christians confused. What Christianity teaches is not the same as groups like JW's and Mormons even though it seems non-Christians want to group it all together. To believe the Earth is 6000 years old not only shows ignorance of science but also ignorance of the Bible. And to stereotype ALL Christians together is no different than stereotyping any group of people.

It's exactly a God of the Gaps argument. You're saying we don't know X, therefore God. We don't know the exact origins of life, therefore God. That's the God of the Gaps argument.
LOL Let me play with your mind awhile. and prove you are lying
Where did you get your so called facts from? At the time I posted that information you where not posting on this forum under the moniker Box ...Therefore you were posting under another moniker. So you be lying LOL
Assuming for the sake of an argument , that you were not posting at all at that time , where did you get your information from?
Must have been from chroe , he has posted the same misleading infformation by omitting ALL the relevant facts....You lie like a rug ....

The God of the Gaps argument ,espoused by Atheists,is one of the most absurd excuses one can concoct and is an argument adhered to by fools in order to defend their faith
I have addressed that topic on several occasionns with duket and others who claim to be descendants of apes...
Go back ane read what I posted,,,Matter of fact , you don't need to go back and read it as I am sure you are well aware of such..........
Now, go huddle with chroe, duket ,lodi and pre K and concoct some more inane excuses in defense of your faith........That's all you all have and all you can provide

Absolutely

Cherrypick and Amen doesn't deny that his god instructs his followers to kill others.

He just claims that because it's in the OT it doesn't apply to him.

DNA evidence nor evolution can explain to me how it is possible that nonliving, nonconscious and nonintelligent life can originate spontaneously by accident.
We have travelled this road before and your answer is " I don't know"
I happen to believe that there is an origin to live, intelligence and consciousness and that nonliving, nonintelligen and nonconscious matter can not attain those properties by accidental means. That is sheer lunacy ,beyond Science fiction....But you already know that So why bring it up again... Regurgitating the same nonsense does not add up to a plausible explanation.

What if I correlate every religion to a cult and started spewing off examples of the great cult leader Manson ... and proceed with examples of where religion lead those people . Or how about those folks that where lead by "religion " to commit mass suicide in the name of Heavens Gate..I could go on with countless examples of what people of "faith" have not talked about... but really did it.. You give me one event that has actually been on record , that occured by atheist in numbers ..You want to drum it up. Lets really compare the history of it all..
I made an intentional error to see if you atheists are on the ball . The error is obvious, as is also obvious that atheists are not on the ball.....
I throw out the bait and you guys hurry and snap it up , then . I REEL: you in..........
