Maybe that's why COMMON SENSE, should be a requirement before even reading it.
So you are claiming most Christians believe the bible verbatim because they lack common sense? Why are you belittling them with such negativity?

You omitted all the relevant parts.....Let us do this again and do it honestly
The Gallup Organization, under contract to Baylor's Institute for Studies of Religion, asked American adults a series of questions to gauge credulity.
Do dreams foretell the future?
Did ancient advanced civilizations such as Atlantis exist?
Can places be haunted?
Is it possible to communicate with the dead?
Will creatures like Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster someday be discovered by science?
The answers were added up to create an index of belief in occult and the paranormal. While 31% of people who never worship expressed strong belief in these things, only 8% of people who attend a house of worship more than once a week did.
We can't even count on self-described atheists to be strict rationalists. According to the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life's monumental "U.S. Religious Landscape Survey" that was issued in June, 21% of self-proclaimed atheists believe in either a personal God or an impersonal force. Ten percent of atheists pray at least weekly and 12% believe in heaven.
Not that this shows a single stat of what atheists believe. Why are you obsessed with atheism?
Why do you belittle what we do not believe? Why are you so nasty about it? And Sista, why do you only pick on atheists?

And this next one even if one replaced the word "God" with
"(What) DECENCY and Humanity (ARE)"..
1... God won't ask what kind of car you drove. He'll
ask how many people you drove who didn't have transportation.
2... God won't ask the square footage of your house,
He'll ask how many people you welcomed into your home.
3... God won't ask about the clothes you had in your closet, He'll
ask how many you helped to clothe.
4... God won't ask what your highest salary was. He'll
ask if you compromised your character to obtain it.
5... God won't ask what your job title was. He'll ask
if you performed your job to the best of your ability.
6... God won't ask how many friends you had. He'll ask
how many people to whom you were a friend.
7... God won't ask in what neighborhood you lived,
He'll ask how you treated your neighbors.
8... God won't ask about the color of your skin, He'll
ask about the content of your character.
9... God won't ask why it took you so long to seek Salvation.
He'll lovingly take you to your mansion in heaven, and not to the gates of Hell.
You can try to sell me a mansion that I do not get until I am to dead to appreciate it for ten percent of my earnings for life. But I am not buying that line of BS.

Separation of State and Church
You mean a school that does not indoctrinate ones religion? That would be a secular school that government runs.

Looks like I got under your skin with that last post.

You don't need my opinion?

Best that you don't hang around here then because whether you like my opinion or not, you're going to be getting it.

Doesn't get much better for you, does it?

Absolutely

Teaching is all about educating people and encouraging them to ask questions.

They like to brainwash people because they can't handle it when their beliefs are questioned by people who point out the flaws and contradictions that are all over the Bible.

If your god really did not want anyone going to hell, then he should not send anyone there just because they did not believe claims that had zero evidence. To do as you claim is unjust.
Should you go to hell for not believing in leprechauns? See how silly your claim sounds?

Maybe you need to look up the word, secular. If you claim specific of god, you failed to be secular.

He acknowledged platypuses must have survived the flood.....but claimed the story must be mostly true because multiple cultures have flood stories.

(and BTW about that "honesty" thing--reiterated, when you learn some ethics and merit, that SHOULD go with such.)
What difference does it make whether it came from one site or another when you FAILED to provide a source (unlike wikipedia), you FAILED to include all definitions (like curious) and it says the exact same thing as the link I provided?

You will know Gods wrath and suffer his decree come the hour of temptation.

Think of repenting You sins then will you but won't you have wished all your errors would have not followed you too ???

Rest knowing the Holy Spirit will be with you and lean on Jesus and Gods will for you in his plan

I have a unique perspective in this discussion. For although I do believe in a universal “God”, I am anti religion. I do not believe that we are here by pure happenstance. I do believe that organized religions are very dangerous. To accept any believe on blind faith is opening yourself to fraud and confusion. Although there is no scientific proof that God exists, there are many unanswered questions that leave room for Him. There is also no scientific proof that diminishes the chance that he does exist. Before you condemn me for believing in mysterious invisible beings, I suggest you read a book called “The Quantum Enigma”. This was written by quantum physicists to describe a scientific enigma that cannot be described in purely scientific terms. I know it will not change your beliefs but it does leave the door open for acceptance of mine.

Hey ,el stupido LOL
I made it plain that Atheists were not killing each other ,but, they are going dor each others jugular.
As you know, given that you live not far from london, the Atheists have organized a church and want to spread their faith worldwide.
Well the church in NYC and the London church are duking it out over their faith in trying to detremine who believes in God the least. Each believes thast their unbelief is stonger than the others.
Makes me split a gut laughing , they organize a church based on Christian tradition , because atheism is not able to provide them with commaraderie etal..........
So Atheists want what Christians have.
This church is supposed to offer them an opportunity to worship that which they don't believe in.
I wish Johnny Carson were still alive so he and Don Rickels could do a skit on this nonsense.
They'd probably get nominated for an Oscar.
LOL LOL LOL I gotta go ,i just wet my pants.......... YIKESSSSSSSSSSSSSS
