I ate some Mexican stuff at a local greasy spot.

I had to shit in the creek to keep from settin' the woods on fire.

This from the fool who has diagnosed his parents as being delusional,
who would entertain the idea that mankind was created by a superior race who lived among us and then left for parts unknown.
Methinks you are alluding to Zeus , Thor , Jupiter etal.
This superior race , perhaps they visited us from the planet Youranus, as that seems to be the logical place where that thought was engendered.
BTW Your parents are now aware that you have diagnosed them as Delusional and are now in favor of retroactive abortions
Sorry you seem to have have another brain fart.... Yes it is possible and there is actual Evidence that can be tested, verified and repeated that can explain such mythological Gods, including yours...

Now I Do Not think that for me the Evidence is enough to consider it Proven... But it is enough to form an hypothesis... And the Evidence does not point to an extraterrestrial being... Just a Different form of Hominid of which several kinds have existed at the same time on this planet... The Evidence suggests that During the last Ice Age there were several species of hominids on the planet and at least one was very far advanced with a brain size almost 20% greater than modern man and after the catastrophic event that ended the last Ice Age and wiped out most of the larger life forms on the planet and dropped Modern Mans populations to less than 20 thousand globally...

So do I claim it absolute... Nope... But there is Massive Evidence to the hypothesis and would explain God, Gods and Goddesses far better than Magic...

Yes, you did.

You should be proud of that.

Did a year behind bars since we talked.

Had an outstanding warrant for parole violation in Georgia, got stopped in Tennessee with a tail light out.

That tail light bulb cost me a year.

Oh.. I started a new project Buck... I did a gun stock for my brother a while back and decided to build another one a bit more techy... The one I'm building is for the Ruger 10/22 and will be a bench rest target stock made from carbon fiber over a wood core... it will have a adjustable butt plate made with buffalo horn and an adjustable cheek piece and molded to fit the hand with black pearl pin striping and inlay in the carbon fiber....

No it is Not... I can form a hypothesis about a specific construct and not in the slightest think it true... For example I can write a hypothesis that states that Flying Dragons that spit fire were real and use fossils of Pterodactyls and mythology as a evidential path... I don't "Believe" it for an instant.... But this does point to your needing a few more years in school so someone could teach you that when using Synonyms they are Dependent on Context for their application.... But keep trying...

Your complete ignorance of the basis for my Faith has led you to,again, reach some absurd and factless conclusions.
In your arrogance, you have concluded that there is no greater intelligence than that of mankind and attempt to explain that which is supernatural by natutal means.
This means that the foundation of your beliefs is based on an impossibility
Therefore you are forced to believe that life, intelligence and consciousness can not be attained by supernatural means but can only be attained by natural "accidental " means.
That somehow, nonliving can create life, nonintelligence can create intelligence and nonconsciousness can create consciousness.
The problem with your beliefs is that you cannot explain how this can opccur by natural means.
Your claims are not based on Magic , they are based on insanity.
My God provides a hypothesis by which those who desire can come to know him.
Your beliefs on the other hand are based on begging for time, millions of years ,to see if Science can find the recipe for the aforementioned.
Then you make reference to events that supposedly occured billions of years ago , witnessed by no one, in an unknown location
for which there is no written or verbal record.
The claim that a replicating cell was somehow accidentally created by some unknown accident, possibly lightning striking some primordial soup is insanity of the nth degree.
Lightning does not create life , it destroys it.
That this cell , much more complicated than anything that man's intelligence has been able to create, was created by some freak accident is the kind of stuff that Science fiction buffs enjoy reading about. And just think , some nonliving, nonconscious nonintelligent force is able to create that which the created, living, conscious and highly intelligent is quite unable to create, thereby making the creator inferior to that which it created.
That type of reasoning can only make sense to an Atheist.
You have yet to explain how your god made anything.
And your belief the god needed no living, conscious, intelligent creator just shows how you have double standards.

You are essentially worshiping what you claim cannot be...if you had consistent standards.

Why you believe this is clear from your many posts. One of those reasons clearly shows it has much to do with the god your parents raised you to believe in.

You clearly have extreme skepticism in science, and no skepticism in the god your parents worship.

Okay, let's see..
A Catholic service, held by a priest, who mentioned Jesus helping your uncle, to his wife, who was of a different faith.
Based upon that, and not having been there accessing the situation, hearing the actual dialogue, the tones, conjecture etc, I think all I would/could/should actually input logically and rationally would be, Sorry to hear about your Uncle.
Oh, so now you have no opinion of what the priest said? OK.
Well I do. Don't like it? To damned bad.

It was more than a mention, it was a claim of Jesus being the factor of why the wife helped her husband.
It seemed as if the priest could not fathom someone could be a caring wife without the Jesus. We see this theme from most of the Christians on this thread, so I am not pulling this out of thin air.

Well to you who are confounded, those of this world are often alone in their own understanding and think along the lines of baser things of this world and not if God.
As many posts as we have made about your god, it is strange you feel we think in those lines. I feel we think about this stuff more than many believers. We do it so much, some believers here actually think this is due to our search for the god.

Now just what are we "confounded" about?

You seem to be in a constant state of mental constipation.
Brain size is not indicative of intelligence.
Elephants have larger brains than humans.
And your argument that there may have been a hominid with a larger brain than modern man ,which would explain God and Goddeses is pure nonsense.
Is that your basis for your willing to entertain the hypothesis that man was created by a more intelligent race of beings?
That is the type of science Fiction that you have been utilizing
for quite some tome now.
Question; Who created these homonids who supposedly have a larger brain?
We are back to square one, just like which came first , the chicken or the egg.
As I remember , you claimed the chicken egg evolved from other eggs ad infinitum..
What you were never able to answer is where the first egg or chicken came from.
You need to get your brain to fart and awaken it from it's monumental slumber.

a hypothesis, or belief, based on a lie by the believer?

sorry but words are symbols of ideas. you're confusing a blatant lie with a belief.

a belief is something held to be true by the believer until otherwise known to be untrue. then the believer relinquishes the belief to an alternate understanding.

or do you "believe" language is exclusive to western, materialistic science?

The last time I tried that, ever so quietly as we possibly could, Mass was stopped briefly, for a five second reprimand, for speaking while (others as well) were being spoken to.
I'm sorry, I have never witnessed the other that you write of. Not that such doesn't happen, because as anyone half rational realizes, it happens-in churches as well as many places outside of churches...and when ever I have discussed such with those who may have experienced such, the first thing I am inclined to state to them, is that THEY were victims-and the SHAME and the wrongs of THAT type of thing belongs to the ABUSERS...no matter the race, creed or color.
Well "that" is something I was not speaking about.

Now to the second part. Are you claiming the culture of silence I am referring to is a figment of my imagination? Are you claiming it is not a factor in how so many priests were enabled to repeatedly rape children for years on end without being stopped?
I am well aware churches are not the only place rape happens. I am speaking to the point of it being spoken of by the kids. They were/are lead to believe the priests can do no wrong. So when the priest takes liberties with these kids, they feel it must be ok for them to do.
I am repeating what many of the victims have been claiming. Now are you claiming this is not so?

Is it really so hard to just identify specifically what you disagree with? Is it to much typing for you?
