It's THE only locale of threads I've ever seen, that is rampant with it.

On par level with strands of used dental floss.

Once again, when in Rome...(or in this case, not)....

Why would I wish to have double standards...when I'm quite content with my own standards of morality, ethics and integrity.

Or were you talking about your own double standards?

Now that we know the type of material you read and watch in order to enhance your education , permit me to suggest other sources that
may appeal to your stunted mental growth.
Pinnochio ,which you can share with WithchintheWoods.
Her nose may not grow ,but watch out for her broomstick.
Aesops Fables , share that one with Q,MD and Chrow .
They enjoy stories that occured a long time ago in a far away land and for which no one can account for.

<quoted text>Yes extremism is problematic in most cases. Like when the bible demands you kill those who try and sway you from your god. Kill your mother and brother if need be.
Deuteronomy 13 6-10.
And yes, I think killing someone for worshiping a golden calf is wrong. Pretty black and white on that.
Now that's a little better, much more specific and defined...and we would agree on your two points made, as well as the simplistic levels behind those who would even consider such to be meant as any sort of literal "directives".

And you didn't even have to stoop to some idiotTic, ignorant name calling level either.

And I am pretty sure Obama was in control when Bin Laden was shown justice. To bad Bush diverted to Iraq. Maybe he could have got him if he had focus in the guy who attacked us on 9/11.
Maybe if Clinton hadn't been so slack to start with, bin_laden wouldn't have even had a chance to perpetuate his plans as devised in the Clinton years.

NONE of which really has anything at all to do with the CURRENT (as in 2013--not the 90's) issues with Syria.

Sista... who wants an "intellectual" discussion but who talks baby talk and resorts to name calling nearly every post.
Yaa... who can do no better than screaming "no, you're wrong" but still expects us to believe (with no proof other than his words) that his fairy tale is real.
Curious... who does what is wrong, knowing it's wrong, but it's ok since he can apologize to Yahweh and all will be well in his world.
KnownFact... well, what can I say about someone who MUST post cut and paste because he can't think for himself well enough to debate his beliefs? LOL! At least he is boringly consistant.
Attack and belittle others, at others expense.

All while you yourself were doing nothing but exactly that--

<quoted text>
My uncle used to tell me that those people who self proclaimed themselves to be "Ethical" and felt no need to feel ashamed of anything they had ever done ,did so ,on the basis that they had no shame.
Self-righteousness (also called sanctimoniousness, sententiousness, and holier-than-thou attitudes[1]) is a feeling or display of (usually smug) moral superiority[2] derived from a sense that one's beliefs, actions, or affiliations are of greater virtue than those of the average person.
The term "self-righteous" is often considered derogatory particularly because self-righteous individuals are often thought to exhibit hypocrisy due to the belief that humans are imperfect and can therefore never be infallible, an idea similar to that of the Freudian defense mechanism of reaction formation. The connection between self-righteousness and hypocrisy predates Freud's views, however, as evidenced by the 1899 book Good Mrs. Hypocrite: A Study in Self-Righteousness, by the pseudonymous author "Rita."
Now , compound your problem by using your other monikers to defend your position. LOL
The mafia Dons ,much like yourself ,all have a high opinion of themselves ...As do all the convicts sitting in jail And those in mental asylums.
According to them ,just like you , they also claim to have never done anything for which they need feel ashamed
Brilliant!

Try actually pointing out the standards I have that are of double. You consistently make accusations with zero evidence. Typical of believers.
The "I am rubber, you are glue..." childish schoolyard tactics are getting old.
Try actually debating.

So the recent wars are not worth discussing?

Lets break this down a bit. You supported the Bush wars, and you oppose the Obama conflicts(no wars). The reasons you give for the US needing to stop with the Obama conflicts is because you want the Muslims to just blow themselves up and we stay out of it.
Well I am asking, if this is the case, then why did the Bush wars not follow that rule of yours?

Maybe if the right wing did not cry "waging the dog" when Clinton started bombing the Bin Laden sites, he would not have eased back on him. But their are a lot of "what if's", and I am not letting Clinton off the hook either. What if Regan had not helped Bin Laden organize, fund and weaponize his crew? Maybe Bin Laden would have been taken out by the Russians. But none of this has anything to do with Obama. Obama was the guy who focused on Bin Laden and the results showed it worked. Bin Laden was taken down in his administration. Obama was not as slack as Clinton, Bush Sr., Reagan, or Bush Jr., on Bin Laden.

Back to the name calling? You did so well last post. Short lived.

Did I say anything about your stance on religious freedom? Nope, I spoke of the god you worship and his stance on religious freedom. Try reading a bit more carefully.
