How dare you people make good use of modern science, that people died for, and yet show it no respect.
If you really truly believe in your God then you should NEVER EVER EVER go to a doctor again.
I know the answer even if you do not!
God is real!
Repent, and Trust in Jesus...

More like so as not to alter the original works, in it's original form (as stated as SHOULD BE with in the book its self).
Ya maroon.
So... taking the 10 commandments, and re-writing them, changing the Sabbath to Sunday is the original texts?
Look!
Do you Believe Jesus died on the Cross one time, for all sins,
past, and future, that you do not have to do anything, but Love the Lord, your neighbor, and your enemies, and Trust in Jesus???
Or does mass, and calling a man "Father" negate Christ's teachings?

Just wondering, some people prefer the audio options of having things being read to them, rather than reading for themselves.
Question, with hypothetical scenario.
You're walking down a street and see two beggars. Beggar one is male, down on his luck, with a family to take care of. That beggar will take what ever kindness passers by spare to him, gratefully, with only the promise to do what is right with what is given.
Beggar two is a known harlot per say, and offers you continued wicked pleasures for what ever passers bys spare, and just takes and takes and takes, continually squandering and indulging only herself, with out a care for others around her.
Who you going to charitably, in "good faith", "donate" to?
(Be advised-your answer will speak volumes of your character)
I had a Preacher once, tell of a drunkard begging for money at his church, He gave the man $20, and all the rest said "You know that he's gonna buy a bottle of booze with that money!".
He said yes!
It might be the bottle that brings him to his knees (paraphrasing)!
Give to both!

<quoted text>So you think Catholics, the first formal religion of Jesus was just not hearing that still small inaudible voice of the holy ghost, thus could not understand the bible?
Slice this any way you wish, it still points to your philosophy as flawed.
Catholics think they are following the bible correctly, just as every sect of every religion does. But of course you think yours is correct and theirs is not. Who would have guessed?
"Catholics think they are following the bible correctly"
I've no doubt they think that!
Like the Mormons... IF they'd read an un-altered Bible, they'd see the Truth!

Yaa says "40 years later, in jail for domestic violence, booked on 04/04/04,@ 0.04 seconds after midnight, I spent the best "40" days of my life, getting to KNOW our Savior in person!"

"At 0.04 seconds?"
LOL! A NEW detail.
This tale grows and grows.

How many other ways do you think you can work
the "magic 4" into your story?
Maybe you saw the "4 Horsemen" while you were riding in the police car?
Perhaps you were the 4th case on the docket?
The courtroom and your cell BOTH HAD 4 WALLS! Yes! That's it!

The most perfect maxims and examples for regulating your social conduct and domestic economy, as well as the best rules of morality and religion, are to be found in the Bible.... The moral principles and precepts found in the scriptures ought to form the basis of all our civil constitutions and laws. These principles and precepts have truth, immutable truth, for their foundation.... All the evils which men suffer from vice, crime, ambition, injustice, oppression, slavery and war, proceed from their despising or neglecting the precepts contained in the Bible.... For instruction then in social, religious and civil duties resort to the scriptures for the best precepts.

What facts do you have to refute creation?
They have never found a missing link(s), each creature is different bone structure birds, the way our organs work, and etc... There are some similarities in certain creatures, but by far way too many gaps to support evolution...
Each creature was designed and created uniquely by God the Devine creator.
The Biblical timeline is one of the major issues. Earth’s age is much older than literal interpretation of the Bible suggests, even if one does not insist that god literally created it in seven days. No human bones have been discovered during the age of the dinosaurs. Well, you get the idea (or maybe not).

At any rate, I have no interest in trying to convince you that your belief that each creature was designed and created uniquely by God is incorrect. Nor do I believe it likely that I could. All I can do is challenge that concept based on Biblical history to offer an occasion for you to reconsider.

Perhaps you might return the favor by helping me understand the authority of Biblical history. Specifically, how do you believe the authors of the books of he bible obtained their history of creation? Did god tell them directly, just as some believe god directly passed a tablet inscribed with the ten commandments to Moses?

I know it's hard for you with your limited knowledge base but Chickens are made by Humans.... We Selected wild fowl and selectively bred them to produce a domesticated animal different in shape, habits from any wild game that came before... Before man domesticated them there were no Chickens.... But there were animals laying eggs for the last 300 to 500 Million years at a minimum...
What you and other do is start with a Belief (God Did It) and anything that supports your preconceived notion is ok, anything that shows those preconceived notions as Balderdash are ignored...
So which came first, The Egg... The egg was a method a organism developed 100's of millions of years ago to deal with environmental conditions and one of those organisms, after 100's of millions of years, became a bird... Then after several 1000 years of Human Breeding some of those birds became Chickens as man acted as a natural selector....
Can you grow a plant without it giving you the seed???
Same with Every other egg laying thing!
You couldn't even have a Human without a Human giving birth!
Pond scum does not give birth... it just is... Pond scum!

Are you inferring that because there were real meeting places among the early catholic communities, the events compiled about Jesus (and probably an overwhelming majority of the OT) are indelibly accurate - just as surely as young George chopped down the cherry tree and threw a silver dollar across the Potomac?
Your point that the world does and has been comprised of countless myriads of both diverse and related cultures and subcultures is duly noted - and is far more likely to be discounted by the average congregation member than by those you choose to debate and deride here.
Thank you for reiterating the exact point lol.
