So you are saying love is nothing but a made up fantasy.
No, I'm saying a lot of people don't realize the (big) differences.

On Love-

1 Corinthians 13:4
New American Standard Bible (©1995)
Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant...
King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.)
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up.

On Lust:
1 John 2:16
New American Standard Bible (©1995)
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.

King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.)
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

<quoted text>See my last post.
As for Joe Smith, a plausible explanation is, he made up the whole story for profit, and he is not really a prophet. Just as Ron H. made up some Scientology story for profit and is no prophet. Just as Mohammed made up a story for profit and is no prophet.

Can you see the trend? The evidence shows people can just make up stories and believers of the story feel they hear inaudible voices that confirm the story that they already believe.
Yeah I know you think I haven't thought of all this. I don't expect you to take my word for any of what I have said. I hope you take the time to find out for yourself someday.
So true

<quoted text>I would have been killed by Christians if I lived in the days of the inquisitions and crusades. Glad your team finally got the memo that killing infidels is not moral. Tell Deuteronomy.

I do not think it was Jesus that stopped the killing of infidels, I think it was secularism. Note when the killing of infidels by Christians slowed down? It was when the enlightenment came. It was when the governments started to follow secular rules instead of religious rules.

Also take note of how many Christians fail to turn the other cheek on a continuous basis. As if this is not something a Christian even strives for. Just look at "Yes and amen".

Note that the Muslims are anti-secularism. This is why they are still open to killing infidels. It is legal in their countries. Why? Because their countries follow the laws of their religions. All based upon blind faith.

Does your church turn the other cheek to homosexual marriage? Nope.
Good points. Can't disagree with some if it

And how can you disprove it, is the question
That is not the question, that is a deflection, a way to evade the responsibility you have to provide evidence of your claim.

Okay, so you have a bunch of assertions, where is the evidence supporting these assertions?

Since plants don't make sunlight, they need it, that makes your question completely irrelevant.

It's funny to me that most of you science haters (to use your vernacular) easily dismiss the findings of the scientific community claiming ulterior motives...yet readily accept the BS that the Discovery Institute doles out without batting an eye.
Glad you said...
"I just don't think it's real"!
Because "IF" you knew He is real...
You would NOT dismiss what "Discovery Institute doles out without batting an eye"!

<quoted text>I gave a plausible explanation for your blind faith and hearing inaudible voices. I showed how most religions make the same claim, thus I showed evidence my hypothesis has validity.
Of course I cannot prove you do not hear magical voices, and I am not trying to prove it. I am trying to show plausibility.
I am showing likelihoods.
Science often is not about proving something but more about showing likelihoods.
But I understand when someone is so demeaning of science, they often do not even understand this basic concept of science.

<quoted text>Are you telling me that all the prophets of the bible were never lead astray?
Christianity lead the crusades and inquisitions yet has the nerve to call themselves the religion of peace?
I think many religions are based upon the wars they fought. Christianity would be nothing without Constantine and his conquering ways.
The whole old testament is a story of war based upon religion.
No!
I know you are just trying to be a tard, but...
The "crusades and inquisitions" was by What Religion???

See... You KEEP ON forgetting Christ's teachings!
I can see your confusion with your religious past,
Failed Mormonism, failed Catholosim, and failed Methodist!
Now... Try very hard NOT to be wrong with your assumptions!
BTW...
It was Alexander the Great, that did more for Christianity...
The Greek language spread the Gospel, as everyone spoke greek!
It was the Catholic church that put it in Latin, so the lay people could not read it...
Go figure!

They listen to that inaudible still small voice. They just want you to be with their god, so they blow you up. Fast track to heaven, so why do you resist?
I am saved by Jesus, a Born again Child of God Himself...
That gives me the truth to say the truth!

Nope, you did not question the story someone else told you, you swallowed it hook, line, and sinker.
