I think a lot of religious people deal with sexual issues. To compensate they become more fervent in there religious beliefs to control their lust. Some cannot justify staying in a religion because of the condemnation and punishment awaiting them according to their system of worship "shunning, gossip and even hell-fire" by their church members. Also, some may continue in their sexual sins yet cannot bring themselves to confess because of the humiliation it could bring to them or family that belongs to the sect hoping to control it someday before found out.

This is not new information. The historical evidence is written all though out the O.T and N.T and pagan religions. Even on Dr. Phil show.

Romans 7:18-24

New International Version (NIV)

18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature.[a] For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.

21 So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22 For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; 23 but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. 24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?

That wasn't directed at you, obviously, as I already told you that I'm not interested in hearsay about the very convincing hallucinations some person had. Believe away. There is no evidence.

It really shouldn't be hard. I don't even understand why its being dodged.
<quoted text>
Really? You thought this place needed more stupidity? Slinging Bible verses as an answer to a question that had nothing to do with Bible verses is not the same as using a common form of communication. Where do you people come from?
I didn't know they sold donkey-dung cereal...eat yours a little too early or something? Or maybe next time, try some of dat der frosted flake kind...a little later in the a.m.

As for that last question, some think the Garden of Eden (which ever and where ever one that may be) some might think from aliens...some might think we crawled out of the Tythas sea into the evolutionary land of Pangea...which maybe gives even MORE credence to the theory that some are just plain DUHM as a bunch of fossilized rocks lol.

Jesus will never lose! People lose. And we have allowed the lord to be taken out of almost everything in this world and look what it has created! More killing, more evil, more hurt and shame and corruption and hate. When the people of the world prayed to jesus and we included him in all we did you didn't see much of this thats going on now. Kids killing kids, parents killing kids, on and on and on. He is the alpha and omega. He will not force you to love n worship him. He's not that kind of god. But how sweet the peace is he gives you in your mind and soul when you do accept him as your savior. Nothing better.

President Bush's infatuation with universalism is tied to his commitment to universal (or global) government. You see, Bush is part of an elitist cabal that is attempting to carve out an international New World Order. And in order for global (or even regional) government to take shape, there must be an acceptance of global religion.

In other words, universalism is the religion of the New World Order, the United Nations, and all those who desire global government.

The danger in teaching the Bible is that this book has the power to create faith even in an atheist. TO UMMMMMM
Appreciate your response, couple of points I want to make
UMMM WROTE
1) Time is irrelevant here. If you are trying to give it relevance, you are being tricked by an outdated part of your brain. What's relevant is that the woman knew about the lost dog. Whether she was consciously thinking about the dog or not, she was certainly aware of it.
I disagree that time is not relevant here and that if I am trying to give it relevance, it's because I am being tricked by an outdated part of my brain, whatever that might mean, That sounds absurd
These events took place on the same day,the same date and the same time 8;30 to 9;00 and it had never occurred to the lady in question, to look in the lost pet section previous to that particular day .
So,the fact that both occurences happened on the same day and date,at the same time, makes time very relevant AND can not be dismissed by stating that I was somehow tricked
BUT,could it have been a coincident,,,Yes
UMMM wrote
2)The woman was reading the paper. Many people skim the paper front to back, and only focus on things that catch their attention. This is normal human behavior and allows for maximum efficiency in gathering information that you care about and not wasting time on other information (a pretty amazing trait, actually). She remembers the dog as she's skimming the lost and found. She then focuses on the individual ads.

You are making an assumption that seeks to justify your views, problem with that,as I see it is,most people that hear that their neighbor found a dog and gave it away are seldom concerned about trying to find it's owner..On their list of worries and concerns, that concern would be way at the bottom of the list,if,at all
..BUT,could this be a consecutive coincident, related to the first coincident.......YES

3)She initially doesn't think that the descriptions match the dog she remembers, but the human mind has evolved to be capable of making very quick decisions that may not be the most accurate, but are accurate enough overall to ensure survival. This is a case where the initial decision was flawed. The human mind also tends to double check itself in cases of low confidence (usually once danger has passed, in nature). This is often labeled "doubt". She had a doubt about rejecting your ad, so rather than chance a pet owner being separated from their pet, she called you. Simple risk/benefit analysis. It hurts nothing to call you, but has more severe consequences to not call you.

Again, you are making assumptions in order to justify your opinion,This has nothing to do with survival.
Moreover,to me,if for some reason that I can not explain,I turn to the lost pets section of the paper, something I had never had a reason to do previously, then I read through the ads and find that none of the descriptions in the ad seem to fit the dog in question, I would go on to read something else. That to me,would seem logical.
But ,you base your conclusions on risk/benefit analysis that the overwhelming majority of the people would never apply
You seem to be implying that your explanation,is,in effect, the way most people would react under the same circumstances.....To me ,that is an exceptionally long stretch.
But,could this be the third consecutive coincident in this chain of events.....YES

Now,can I LOGICALLY conclude, based on your explanation, that these events have no other explanation, other than the one you gave. Logically means-According to logical reasoning?
Now ,here was the dilemna I faced, These events could all be a coincident, which I could not logically explain
However, the events that took place, wether by coincidence or design, led to my finding my dog..
And one of those events included my praying to a GOD that I did not believe in.
Now,the question arises, were the results based on a coincidence,or,If God really existed, was he somehow responsible for the results,

Something or someone caused this lady to act the way she did, Now I was very curious as to how or whom had caused this series of events.
Given the possibility that God existed,I started reading the Bible and asking questions.
As I read the Bible ,I found these verses, among others, If you diligently seek me,you will find me
Seek and ye shall find,Ask and you will receive,He who comes to me ,I will in no way cast out.
So,I put those teachings to the test.

Since that time,I have faced a number of situations,as probably most people have, where you can not find a solution to a very pressing problem, wether it be financial,a marrriage problem, family problem or whatever.
You attempt to resolve it on your own,You wish it would go away, you wait for it to go away and the problem still remains..
So,I again turned to God. Within 1 day my problem was resolved.
Subsequent problems have been solved only when I pray to God.
Therefore, either God is responding,or,when I seek his help,,some unknown benevolent power seems to respond to my request or,my prayer causes a series of conincidences to take place, which in turn, provide the results I requested..
I believe, that he who answers my prayers is God,That is whom I pray to and it is he who responds.
That is the basis for my faith...I have tested his teachings, and he has responded as he said he would.
