God probably laughs at all of us,trying to" Disprove God" is as absurd as scientist proving how the earth was made. They say it is billions of years old,yet man in his own imagined infallible egoist way, thinks he can figure it all out! What E G O and self-righteousness!
Who & what books are available to prove any of this insanity of evolution? ;The books would need to be billions of years old !
Either believe in God, or admit that,"We do not believe in God,but we have no idea how everything was created !"
You have a 3rd answer ? Let's hear it.

Right-all that takes is just to believe everything you read as FACT ! Wow- You are a nutty professor for sure.Three little Pigs is a good book to begin with.
See that's where believing anything in the first place causes people to lose the ability of critical thinking... As you demonstrate... I do not Believe anything I read, Nothing I hear, or anything I see.... I consider it for it's rational conclusion, bounce it against mt own long life of study, verify the data presented over time and then form my own conclusions based on all available data...

Yes, it is called scientific process. Theories are challenged and scientist try to prove them wrong. I learned that in the 6th grade.
Please prove that your god exist and created everything, nope no bible verses. let us assume that the big bang theory and evolution is wrong, prove to me that your myths are right

Ah didn't think so.
(quel suprise-NON, anyone who cannot discern, in the beginning there WAS light --only able instead, to nitpick about a few million years!)
In your case what difference would it make ? From your posts I think the math for simple Newtonian physics would be beyond your mental capacities....

If there was a god it would not be what the christian cult has made up.
Why would I believe in your god myth just because I can not even discuss these things with Q? I know i do not know, but I also know that your middle east Arab is not some super being (you do know that your god and jesus are towel heads right?)
I do know that your version of god is wrong.

I went to school here in the USA. In High School biology I never heard the word "evolution" uttered, even once. It was not mentioned and none of its principles were taught. Instead, my incredible biology teachers had us dissect frogs and answer questions about cell anatomy and osmosis while they played games in the office. Important stuff, no doubt. But no evolution was ever taught to me. My first real encounter with the theory was in college when it was mentioned in one of my science courses.
Up until the late 1800s Creationism was taught in public schools. Darwin's idea was quickly accepted (it is compelling, after all) and most religious people didn't seem to have a problem with it.
The problem now is we have this vocal subset of doofhead Fundamentalists who have decided that the Theory of Evolution is the bane of Jesus. It's dumb, frankly. I think it is a waste of time to even engage Creationists on this topic but for some reason I keep doing it.
Why is it fair to teach the Bible? And in what context? If you mean alongside Evolution in a science room, you are simply and absolutely wrong. The Bible is not science. There is no controversy in science about whether or not evolution takes place. It is a fact of nature. The Theory of Evolution is and will always be a matter of continuing science.
The Bible is not relevant to this. Teaching the Bible in a science class would be like using voodoo to work on your car.
Not only was evolution not taught when I went to public school, they even ridiculed Newton as a dunce that got bonked by an apple.
Should we teach the Koran or the Satanic ways, Witchcraft and Paganism? Who gets to choose which religion gets forced on to innocent children? We are not going to force religion on innocent minds, our founding fathers saw fit to protect the masses from people who would deny us the same rights and freedoms that they claim

Oh in case your answer is Science . Remember scientist now admit they are not certain on any theory. Did you read the preceding article by

Again the scientific process is to doubt any theory until it can not be proven false.
Do you know the difference between a theory and a law?
Do you understand that energy can not be created nor destroyed but it is matter?
Can you grasp the concept that light is energy and so is heat and they are the same as matter?
Instead of trying to learn you will just say god "how does a radio work?" "god" "How does cable TV work?" "god" "who is fixing dinner?" "god" etc..........

It isn't science's goal to refute your beliefs. The goal of science is to understand (primarily) and to explain (secondarily). That's all. Your beliefs (aside from elections and taxes) are irrelevant.
I know you Christians are hung up on this (pun intended), but you are not being persecuted.
<quoted text>

The role of science is to understand and explain that which occurs in the Natural World. Faith is not based on that foundation
Hebrews 11: 1-31
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Therefore Faith can not be proven or tested by Scientific Methods.
What does the Bible say about faith MTT 9;29 According to your faith,it will be done to you.
Now,God will test your faith in order to strengthhen it.
I am going to repeat something I previously posted.
When I was an Agnostic, and had no faith,I was faced with a situation that was extremely painful mentally and caused me a lot of anxiety, for which I was unable to find a solution.I was pretty desperate and
in an attempt to find a solution,I decided to try and see if this God I did not believe in,could help me..
I prayed for a solution and during the time I was praying, unbeknownst to me,my prayer was answered, but not in the manner that I had requested. I found out about it 7 hours later
Now,I know the circumstances under which that prayer was answered, but, could not figure out logically, what caused those circumstances.
As a result of this experience,my belief in God ,did not abound, but I was less skeptical about his existence..
Over the years my faith was tested in many different ways.
Other Requests that I made to God,in prayer, for which I could find no solution, were answered, some, overnight, some within a few weeks, without any further effort on my part.
Each time a request was answered,my faith grew more and more.
So what you describe as strong feelings,is erroneous,I have a strong belief, based on the responses thay I have received.
If my prayers had not been answered, then my belief in God and my faith would not have grown.
If they had not been answered, would only have confirmed what I,then believed...There is no God.

Let me ask you a question,I know you are an Atheist and you would never pray to something you don't believe in
But,let us suppose, that, like myself, you found yourself in a grievious situation which you could not resolve and in desperation you decided to test God ,not that you believe in him, but,HOPINGN that there is a GOD and HOPING that he will respond, And to your joy and surprise, that prayer is answered Subsequent prayers, are also answered in like fashion....What would you conclude?
Thai is the basis for my belief in God and my faith...Not on emotions ,feelings or the opinion of others, but based on the FACT that I know my prayers were answered.

The evidence you are looking for WILLnot be found in a laboratory,as only God is capable of providing that evidence
Insofar as your having no respect for me,If that is what you feel,so be it. If,in order to gain your respect,I have to deny what God has accomplished in my life,I can not and will not do it.
Not only for you,,Not for anybody ,including my parents,my wife ,my kids and everything I hold dear.

I do not question that you hope (have faith) I just will not allow you to force what you hope on to me or my children.
I have no problem with what ever you choose to believe, it is not my problem. What is my problem is when a group tries to get laws passed that would take away my rights and freedom based on your faith, when they try to force their beliefs be taught to my child as fact. When I am condemned for not having faith in the unreal myths that you have faith in.
Do you have faith in Thor, Zeus, Pan, Dianna, Hecate, Santa Muerita? What if these Gods and Goddesses where taught to children as fact? What if laws where made here based on the Islamic cult and you had to follow them or be burned alive?

How have you "tested" these magical ideas? Having a warm and fuzzy feeling is not going to get you far in a debate. You need evidence if you are making a claim about reality.
Regarding our nature, there is no reason to distinguish between a "human" nature and any other nature. There is ONLY the human nature to deal with. We are flawed, as I said, but not because of magic. It isn't inherited from a mythological fairy tale. We are flawed because we exist nature and nature is not a perfectionist.
But can do great good and there is no need to invoke magic to explain it.
Quote:How have you "tested" these magical ideas?

Why do you ask,I have posted a response to that question on several occassions and you have refused my explanation.
If I answer it again, you still will not be able to comprehend.
So,what would be the point?

How can you explain people in other religions that also claim to have personal experiences as proof for their God? Are they lying? They are so sure of their God that they would strap a bomb to themselves because their God wills it. Some people even would offer themselves up for sacrifice or even their own children because of their faith. Does that mean their God is real as well?
I am not equipped to explain why other religions believe as they do.
The only thing I am equipped to explain is my deeply held belief in the existence of God,Jesus Christ and my faith.
How someone else came by their faith, only they can explain.
The only ones who can explain MY faith is me, and God ,who made it grow
