Yes it does. The last line of Article VI and the first line of the First Amendment, both, erect a wall of separation of Church and State. Any questions?
No It Doesn't speak of Separation of Church and State ... The Words do not exist in the document... That was a assumption applied to the verbiage.. It was the Opinion of a single congressman that others later came to agree with.. For many years after the document was signed and ratified many schools and religious institutions were paid for by public funding... The Concept of Separation of Church and State is Extra Constitutional and a construct applied by the courts...

<quoted text>Then we need to tax them. And yes, the Constitution does state that the government will not establish any religion and that is separation.
Freedom OF religion is freedom FROM some one elses religion
It says...

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Nothing More... Nothing Less... At no point does it speak of Separation of Church and State... That is an Extra Constitutional concept that was written of derived from a letter written by President Thomas Jefferson (A Single Congressman) in 1802....

The only religion that uses a symbol for their religion that was a form of execution is the christian cult with its cross. You do not see other religions wearing hang mans noose or gallows, or the guillotine do you? Crucifixion was a very inhumane form of execution and this is what the christian cult uses to as a symbol for what they stand for. Tells you something about the christians love for blood
Lol, jesus was hanged on a tree no cross needed,

acts 5-30
the god of our fathers raised up jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.

Of course religies have that "special bible/topix understanding".

The religies want to burn our history books and just have the KJV of the bible use in a theocratic america, similar to Islam countries. Having religious civil war in this country is a goal of the tea party, I see why lot of mormons oppose Mitt Romney an voted democratic just like other religies did. So now I know what religion YAA/YOLU belongs to "chrislam".

Funding religious institutions is a way they can teach creationism and ditch teaching the scientific theory of evolution and other subjects. I think seperation of church and state will be a good thing to prevent science and research in our schools and universites falling into the hand of chrislam fanatics.

I don't disagree with you.... It is a Idiotic idea to allow a publicly funded school system to in any way teach religious ideology of any religion... A instructional course on All Religions as how they shaped history and the human condition is another story...

BUT... All I was alluding to was that the Constitution does not make any mention of Separation of Church and State.... I was specific to the poster that stated that the Constitution Speaks of such, It does Not... It was an extra Constitutional construct based on Interpretation of the 1st Amendment by the courts much later...

However, by giving every one the right to freedom of religion is a wall that keeps any religion from having authority. That is separation of church and state
I'm already taxed. And who said I didn't want it? You didn't read that in any of my posts. I just stated that separation of church and state is not in the Constitution.

And it isn't.

The Constitution does not use the words, but in order for every one to have freedom of religion there can be no one church having authority, hence a separation of state powers from the church (remember that in England the "church" had law making powers) Also, in any public space no one religion may be given preference over another or any form of authority.
If the christian cult was allowed to teach the influence of religion in public schools they would start teaching the bible as fact and argue that the laws give them the right to do so.(For some reason the christian cult feels they are above every one else and have rights that others do not)

I've given facts, you haven't. If you want to be denial, fine. But I won't argue with someone who can't even cite facts. Thank you.

Your Welcome... You of course have not stated Facts in the least.. Because there are No Facts that the Constitution mentions Separation of Church and State... That verbiage was not alluded to until 1802 in a letter to the Baptists from Danbury, Connecticut.... Some 11 years after the Bill of Rights was Ratified... Sorry if you think because someone takes a writing to mean something it changes the actual words written, it does not... So, Facts are ... At No Time does the Constitution of the United States nor the later added Bill of Rights mention the Separation of Church and State...

Well, in light of the face that politically correct secularism has fallen flat on its face, actually creating a generation of angry, selfish, drones that, if able to take the helm of this country someday, will likely reduce us to a third world country; the Bible might be the only thing that could right the ship.

When the bible, and the church was in power we call that time period the dark ages because human progress went backwards.
At least now we do not tell children the world is flat

Please tell me how secularism has fallen flat? By sending an exploration vehicle to mars? By great leaps in medical science?
