You are a bold faced liar!
Oh, the ten commandments no longer apply because they are in the old testament.
It must be miserable to be ignorant of facts!
In case you missed it, Jesus reiterated the Big Ten all though the NT, and said to,
Love God with all your being, and
Love your neighbor as yourself... In this hangs
the Law, and the Prophets!
And when you think about it... it does!

Wasting their time studying nonsense and falling even further behind is a bad idea.

If you get hatred from the Bible, then you're not reading it right or even understanding it. God does NOT say it's okay to ban homosexuality. lol! The Bible teaches a lot about personal responsibility, not redistributing that responsibility.

Lets us all eat cupcakes today (just the nonfat kind.lol)
There once was a little boy who wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with cupcakes, several cans of root beer and started on his journey.
When he had gone about three blocks, he saw an elderly woman. She was sitting on a park bench watching the pigeons. The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed the lady looked hungry so he offered her a cupcake. She gratefully accepted and smiled at him.
Her smile was so wonderful that he wanted to see it again, so he offered a root beer as well. Once again she smiled at him. The boy was delighted!
They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling without saying a word.
As it began to grow dark, the boy realized how tired he was and wanted to go home. He got up to leave but before he had gone no more than a few steps, he turned around and ran back to the old woman, giving her a big hug. She gave him her biggest smile ever.
When the boy arrived home his Mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked, "What has made you so happy today?" He replied, "I had lunch with God." Before his mother could respond he added, "You know what? She's got the most beautiful smile in the whole world!"
Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home. Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face. He asked, "Mother, what has made you so happy today?" She replied, "I ate cupcakes in the park with God." And before her son could reply, she added, "You know, he is much younger than I expected."
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring; all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.
Take no one for granted and embrace all equally with joy!
Great post!

No! You just don't understand the Bible as a whole!
You have to figure out...
Who was God speaking too?
What was God saying?
Why was God saying it?
God did tell the jews, that if crtain people lived "with"
them, that they had to observe certain rules, and laws, but
NOT all of them, as they were NOT Jewish!
Now it's Grace through Faith in Jesus!
When one lets Jesus live in them, you'll know what's right, and what not to do!

Hahaha!
I don't get hatred from the Bible....
I do get,
Man's heart is deceitfull above all!
Man is wise in his own eyes!
God gave us His word to live by!
.
In the Words,
"Choose Righteousness unto Life, or
Sin unto death, choose Life, and Live!"
to be pretty compelling in what NOT to do!
.
We do have free will, and telling those that sin
to repent, and be redeemed to God... Is Very loving!
What they do with it is Their choice,
And always will be

OOHH, well that's a different story then. It's okay for non-semitcs to do things you disapprove of, since the OT was written by, for and about the Jewish tribes.

What you overlook in your "truth" however is that: God is love. Thus to actually and TRULY love someone is to know god. In admitting that there can be truly love between same sex partners, you admit that there is at least on some level, god in the midst.

A god that would condemn a person for loving, when it claims to be love incarnate, is not a god worthy of worship.

That's because he was living under the Law of Moses, the law of the land, at the time.

Think about it. Jesus' law wouldn't come into effect until his death/burial/resurrection. So, he lived under the old law until that time.

I think many christians feel it is a mandate by God to fill the earth and multiply. Now you could make the case that men or women who do not engage in sex to have children are infact sinning as much as a those who have sex with the same gender and same results no offspring.

So what about those who has casual sex with opposite sex and has many children, are they full filling the madate to populate the earth and yet sinning?

There are stories in the bible were the man masturbates so he would not have children with his brothers wife (his brother had died) that commanded by God so he was put to death.

Here you could make the case that a person who masturbates is subject to hell-fire also because he is wasting his seed as evidence of the O.T.

Lot of things can eliminate a person from being saved it appears, so even those who believe they are right is subjective. The escape clause in the bible says "the wisdom of man is foolishness with God".........meaning my interpetation of the bible is the only truth.

So when did he say "It's okay to eat catfish and pork, after I've ascended"? Is there a place where he published a line item veto of Deuteronomic and Mosaic Laws? I seem to have misplaced those particular passages. As I recall, he said something along the lines of "I did not come to abolish the Laws..."
It makes a lot more sense that the early Christian church turned a blind eye to what the heathen gentile converts were eating and then just quietly dropped the dietary constraints altogether. Just like they adopted Ishtar, Samhain, Yule, etc.

Are you talking about Matthew 5:17
Maybe you should actually read your bible.
But keep making things up to suit your lifestyle, it just proves that you know the bible is fiction

I'll reply to you an Satanic Priest in this one reply, as to not (continually) clutter the thread.

Once Jesus' ascended back into Heaven, the Mosiac Laws no longer applied to the Jews. Jesus' ascension heralded a new law into the land, replacing the old law with his own.

On the Cross, Jesus said: "It is finished." (John 19:30) What was finished? His work, his teaching and preaching of the new law. His work was done here on Earth. He had finished bringing a new law to the people and was returning to Heaven.

However:

Until Jesus died he had to live under the old law. The laws God gave to Moses. Does that make sense? So, up until he returned to Heaven, Jesus lived under (and obeyed) the Mosiacal Law.

To Satanic Priest, why do sound angry towards me and insult me? I've done neither to you. I don't agree with your views, but I respect that you have them. I would like for you to return that respect.
