Many Christians misinterpret the Bible on many issues. Homosexuality not be an exception. They interpret Leviticus 18:22 as to mean homosexuality is an abomination. This is a mistake, if not an outright lie by modern Christians. Is Homosexuality a worse sin than,
God does say of it... It's an Abomination!
Can you be forgiven for it?
Yes, and all the other ill stuff
we Humans do... Just ask!
A Clean slate with the Man Up stairs...
Great way to start the year, and easier than
going on a diet!
Good night to all, God Bless who wants it!
First of all, many Christians are replacing the King James Version with either the New King James or New International - both translations pervert the faith.
Second, in the KJV, Leviticus deals with Moses explaining rules and conduct to the clergy, and those who service the clergy. Moses, via divine inspiration, was laying out rules for those who want to be part of the clergy for God. Given, And given, via divine inspiration, there has been incest and homosexuality in the future (especially in the New Testament).
Third, this book, as far as its instructions, don't apply to you personally if you don't plan on being a member of the clergy, or those who service them, like nuns for example.
So while your average gay Christian isn't doing anything wrong by sleeping with the member of the same sex - it is wrong for the clergy, like the infamous priests, to do so. Also, the Bible doesn't consider homosexuality as a sin at all, just the act - assuming if they're a member of the clergy.
