<quoted text>it's a pretty good read but actually it's a composite of books and letters; depending on which group you belong to, determines the sequence of books and the canon. there are 6 basic canons. each author attempting to relate in his language and experience the idea of a eternal/infinite paradigm.
<quoted text>so do you worship the beast who once was, now is not, yet will come? jesus
"so do you worship the beast who once was, now is not, yet will come? jesus"
You know... I've contemplated that possibilty, but
after reading the Bible, and the fact that every book
in the Bible points to the Son of God, from Genesis, to
Revelation, and the need for Salvation in His person!
Plus the fact that I've survived many attacks of satan, and
know now how he works... Christ is not the beast...
It's the Europian union, AKA Roman Empire, and the Islamic
nation... Look at how they are woven into every nation Rome
had conquered! It's here now!

There many be many God's I dont know for sure , and I dont want to question that eaither. I just know that I pray only to the one , and it seems like I have done alot of that lately... Here's a daily one....
Once upon a time, when God had finished making the world, he wanted to leave behind a piece of His own divinity, a spark of His essence, a promise to man of what he could become, with effort. He looked for a place to hide this precious gift because, He explained, what man could find too easily would never be valued by him.
"Then you must hide this gift on the highest mountain peak on earth," said one of his counselors.
God shook His head, "No, for man is an adventuresome creature and he will soon enough learn to climb the highest mountain peaks."
"Hide it then, O Great One, in the depths of the earth."
"I think not," said God. "for man will one day discover that he can dig into the deepest parts of the earth."
"In the middle of the ocean then, Master?"
God shook His head. "I've given man a brain, you see, and one day he'll learn to build ships and cross the mightiest oceans."
"Where then, Master?" cried His counselors.
God smiled, "I'll hide it where every man and woman will be able to find it if they look sincerely and deeply enough. I'll hide it in their heart."
Great post!
Watch out... Here comes the "The heart only pumps blood!" people!

Today is give back Tuesday ..Could we all give one thing today? Lend a helping hand, give away some things we no longer need.. Feed someone who might need it or open the door for a stranger? We do not have to be rich to do something for someone . We can each turn things around, if only for today.
A long time ago in a far off world,
Where clouds of a different color swirled,
Lived the Bagfill Folk whose name it derives
From the way they tended to live their lives.
Each child when they became of age
Was taken aside by a self-styled sage
And given a bag made of magic and silk.
You never have seen a bag of this ilk.
'Take this bag,' the sage would say.
'You must take it everywhere, every day
'And collect pretty things and put them therein.
'To abstain from this task is a mortal sin.'
'And one day, I cannot tell you the date
'It might be soon or it might be late
'The bag will be full and on that day
'Your happiness ever more will stay.'
So out they would set, with their bags in hand,
Making their way through this far off land,
Doing their best to fill up their sacks
With treasures and trinkets and other nik naks.
But no matter how many prizes they got,
(Some got a few and some got a lot),
The bags never seemed to get any fuller
And the searching began to get duller and duller.
'What is the point?' they began to ask.
'Why are we doing this thankless task?'
Then the sages would come and make them feel small
For daring to question the point of it all.
One day there appeared (were not sure from where)
A man who the fear merchants just could not scare
He strode through the land with his head held high,
Giving and helping without asking why.
The sages tried every trick in the book
To make others think that this man was a crook,
But to those who had met him, it soon became clear
That his motives were pure and his actions sincere.
They followed and asked him why he was not scared
And from where he was getting the things that he shared
'Its simple,' he said,'needs no thinking about,
'I just took my bag and turned it inside out.'
Nice post!
Thanks :-)

Alas, the world is ending. I've seen the people draped in their billboard signs bearing "The End Is Near, Repent" since I was a samll towheaded child. The predictions from preachers and ancient civilizations alike all say the end is upon us so it must be true. I don't know, but I've decieded to live For Ever,, so far, so good.

Puff, puff, pass.

If God wanted us to kill babies, then why did he give a king this wisedom.....and thi swas to test the 2 women.....since both claim the child as theirs , cut in him half...each woman will have part of that child....then the true mother began to weep....for she did not want the baby cut in half...and said....give thebaby to the other woman....the king then removed the baby and gave him to the woman whos tears fellupon the ground.....he said...this is the true mother of the baby.....so no God wants no baby child or any one killed...

Please do not twist my words . I do absolutly believe in miracles and i am certainly not lacking in faith .
I do believe with faith in God a mountain of any kind can be moved . Yes Jesus did say that i could and i have done these greater works by faith in him many times in my life . Why do you question my faith when it is you who is lacking in it .
I did not make any statement of what is said in the Bible . I did however give an interpretion of how what is said can be applied to any persons life . I tend to do that because i actually do apply it to mine . You are choosing to only read the words but not to understand them . I don't get that why you would let my interpretion of something or anyone elses confuse or effect you in anyway when you are free to pick up any version of the Bible you choose and use the common sense you have and the Understanding that God will give you if you ask to read it and know if it's the truth or not and find the meaning of the words for yourself . You can not blame any other person or religion for your lack of faith or understanding of God .
YOU can ask for your words not to be twisted all you want, but it is gonna happen..When you are ib the battle for the Lord, you know this to be true. That is how your faith is being tested, a few wise words of advice, Anger my child, but sin not. Hope you knowthe meaning of it...if that does not work....agree to disagree....and if they continue to debuke you then they sin...isthey agree to disagree....and you m y child are in the clear.

I'm not normally one to get all up into debates on here but the fact is, per the written words in the old testament, yes, god postitively killed thousands of babies and childred, the first borns had a particular struggle in surviving gods whims. Not my words, gods. I'm more about nurture, not murder,

Yes, He did kill many, but NEVER was there an order from God to sacrifice Babies to Him!
And as far as I know, only ONE Child was requested... Issac,
and that was JUST a test!
God is ALL about Souls (Spirits) God is a Spirit, we are spirits
with bodies!
Take away the Body... that leaves the Spirit!
All that puffing you are doing... you should know about that!
