Actually bible says the opposite of what you just said.
1) He cannot sin
2) He cannot contradict himself
3) He cannot die
Excellent point.
However the bible does credit him with killing.
It also says he changes his mind.
And as for dying, I think he is on the ropes.
It won't be long now.
Atheists will be throwing "God is Dead" parties.
I think it should be declared a National Holiday.

If I am blind, I can run my hand across the back of a shell and celebrate beauty. If I have no legs, I can sit in quiet wonder before the restless murmurs of the sea. If I am wounded in spirit, I can reach out my hand to those who are hurting. If I am lonely, I can go among those who are desperate for love. There is no tragedy or injustice so great, no life so small and inconsequential, that we cannot bear witness to the light in the quiet acts and hidden moments of our days.

And who can say which of these acts and moments will make a difference? The universe is vast and is a magical membrane of meaning, stretching across time and space, and it is not given to us to know her secrets and her ways. Perhaps we were placed here to meet the challenge of a single moment; perhaps the touch we give will cause the touch that will change the world.

Good day all

There are two days in every week about which we should not worry, two days which should be kept free from fear and apprehension.

One of these days is Yesterday with all its mistakes and cares,
its faults and blunders, its aches and pains.

Yesterday has passed forever beyond our control.
All the money in the world cannot bring back Yesterday.

We cannot undo a single act we performed;
we cannot erase a single word we said.
Yesterday is gone forever.

The other day we should not worry about is Tomorrow
with all its possible adversities, its burdens,
its large promise and its poor performance;
Tomorrow is also beyond our immediate control.

Tomorrow's sun will rise,
either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds, but it will rise.
Until it does, we have no stake in Tomorrow,
for it is yet to be born.

This leaves only one day, Today.
Any person can fight the battle of just one day.
It is when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternities Yesterday and Tomorrow that we break down.

It is not the experience of Today that drives a person mad,
it is the remorse or bitterness of something which happened Yesterday and the dread of what Tomorrow may bring.

Let us, therefore, Live but one day at a time.

Ready or not, some day it will all come to an end.

There will be no more sunrises, no minutes, hours or days. All the things you collected, whether treasured or forgotten will pass to someone else.

Your wealth, fame and temporal power will shrivel to irrelevance. It will not matter what you owned or what you were owed.

Your grudges, resentments, frustrations and jealousies will finally disappear. So too, your hopes, ambitions, plans and to do lists will expire.

The wins and losses that once seemed so important will fade away.

It won't matter where you came from or what side of the tracks you lived on at the end.

It won't matter whether you were beautiful or brilliant. Even your gender and skin color will be irrelevant.

So what will matter? How will the value of your days be measured?

What will matter is not what you bought but what you built, not what you got but what you gave.

What will matter is not your success but your significance.

What will matter is not what you learned but what you taught.

What will matter is every act of integrity, compassion, courage, or sacrifice that enriched, empowered or encouraged others to emulate your example.

What will matter is not your competence but your character.

What will matter is not how many people you knew, but how many will feel a lasting loss when you're gone.

What will matter is not your memories but the memories that live in those who loved you.

What will matter is how long you will be remembered, by whom and for what.

Living a life that matters doesn't happen by accident. It's not a matter of circumstance but of choice.

Choose to live a life that matters.

Some or even much of what is written in the Old Testament has been done away with, because Ancient Israel was a stiff necked people,.
Who decided to do away with it, because the bible does not say that (you got conned) And that does not answer the question about your god demanding you kill innocent babies.
Now how is it that your church today gets to decide that they do not want to follow the laws set forth by god?
Please post the chapter and verse of the bible where this is written
If you can not please do not try to side step the question with bullshit

so you're claiming god can make laws and rules but he/she doesn't have to follow them?

does't that make your idea of IT a hypocrite?

the god of genesis is a plural. jesus, or adam, if you like is not the ABSOLUTE. the ABSOLUTE cannot be separate/apart from any aspect of itself.

he who wishes to be greatest must be servant to all.

Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven

the children of sorrow/suffering in service to the ONE INFINITE INTELLIGENCE await you.

Balderdash.... Just because a Rule/Law is made does not mean the make of the law/rule must abide by them... Take our Congress for example... Many of the Laws/Rules they pass, they are exempt from having to abide by....

Congressman, President....

As for the concept of a God, logic in behavior is worthless.... You cannot logically consider aspects of a totally illogical concept to begin with....

We live in America and Christianity is our religion. If you are not a Christian, then don't attend public schools or move out of our country. This is about whats right for our children. We shouldn't have to leave our religion and values at the school house doors in order not to offend a non believer or otherwise!,

You are Wrong on several levels....

We are a Nation of Laws based on the Constitution... Those Laws allow for the people to Believe how ever they wish Individually but they also prohibit the Beliefs of one individual or a Group of individuals from forcing Their Beliefs on another Individual or group of Individuals.... You statement is very much like the statements of Islamic Nations where they claim the mantle of One Religion governance...

Just because you practice Christianity does not make this A Christian Nation, it never was or never will be, and the religion needs to stay in the Church. Our children are already falling behind the rest of the World and your answer is to mix in a bunch of fantasy nonsense. If you want to warp your child at home then by all means have at it, but try to have the decency to let the others move ahead without yours. Wasting valuable school time with nonsense would only cause their test scores to go that much lower.

Is your closet cleaned out?

Matthew 6:6
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

I've never known anyone who actually did this. Must be like the speed limit, christians simply ignore it.
