Can you all please STOP with the denials. He dealt drugs!! Take some responsibility!! No he did not deserve to die! Did the children who's lost their home, their parents to drug addiction or overdose did they deserve what has happened to their lives? NO they do not. Do the family members who watch their loved ones go into the downward spiral of drug addiction deserve it? No they do not. For the goodness sake people wake up and realize you cannot distribute this poison with out consequences!! The above posts saying it's the "pill heads" it's the "addicts" fault if you do not have drug suppliers these sick people do not have a way to get those pills!! WITHOUT DRUG DEALERS THE ADDICTS CANT GET YHE DRUGS!!!! I hope that is spelled out enough that you can get the point!!

If you get robbed on stinking creek it's either over one or two things, drugs, money, or both! But let's be honest, nobody is gonna rob someone in front their wife and kids and take the chance of someone recognizing them or getting caught unless you got something they want really bad! Now let me ask this question, if it wasn't over drugs then what would it have possibly been over? The only other thing left is money. But no average joe that has a steady job is gonna have big amounts of money unless they are doing something illegal to get it! Just look at the people that got arrested for the crime if you are looking for a motive. The messer boy and the mills women are known dope heads. They have also been known to rob people with dope and money so there you go. Put 2 and 2 together and see if it still equals 4. I sure it does everytime. This case is no different.

Thank God we have someone with intelligence! Enough time has gone by that the people who were buying drugs from the victim are talking. Yes you can say it's "rumors" but the truth is the truth! He had a large amount of money and pills in that home. They wanted one or both badly enough to invade his home to take what they wanted. I believe the victim fought back trying to protect what he felt was his and he died. Those that continue to choose this type of life will probably meet a similar fate.

If at all this is true.Do you really think the law will be leanient with the accused murderers because of it.NO.The fact that he dealt drugs has no bearing on the murder case. The murdered will not be on trial the accused murderers will.

Actually yes they will be. This case will get a plea deal cause the family don't want the drug facts coming out. Watch and see. They may get a 15-17 yr sentence. Maybe

Make no mistake about it, the accused will be punished! But will they be punished to the fullest extent of the law? My answer is no because of the nature of the crime. Just because the law and news hasn't mentioned anything about drugs being involved doesn't mean they are not aware of it! They are not able to release that information at this time because it's too early in the investigation. But I assure they know the victim was dealing and im sure that enough people have come forward with enough information to prove that very fact. Keep in mind that the creek is just like any other small community in America. Everybody knows everybody and their business up here. Talk gets around. Some of it may be true and some untrue. But with that being said some things don't stay a secret for very long. The way I see it, there's not much the law can really do since the victim was a known dealer. There's an old saying that everyone needs to live by. The company you keep is the trouble you invite to your door. More or less the people who killed the victim had been to and in his home in the short time before he died to buy drugs. They knew what he had and they more than likely planned this robbery out in advance. My guess is that they never intended to kill the victim. They probably figured that since his family was home that he would just give them what they wanted so they would leave without harming anyone. But they thought wrong and the victim decided to put up a fight and therefore they shot him. If they had intended to kill him they would have done it as soon as they entered the home. They were using his wife and kids as leverage to get what they came for. All you can say about is this is that basically the victim signed his own death warrant. When you deal drugs that's a chance you take. The only people I feel sorry for are this man's children. They should have never been in that kind of environment to begin with! As for the comment on the one who was murdered not standing trial, he can't because he's dead! There's really nothing left to say. This man took his self away from his wife and children because of the things he did. If you want to solve a problem you have to get to the root of it. If you sell drugs you will either go to jail or die!
