Yep.. I know where all kinds Will Be... But you have another month or so before its up and growing... On the Hill Side across from Hamburger Hut its growing all along the ledge halfway up the highway cut...

cook poke till tender.
drain.
put about a pint of it in a bowl with flour, meal, egg, salt and chopped onions.
roll out in patty cakes like you do potato cakes, and fry in the skillet.
poke sallet cakes are delicious.

I really don't like the idea of going to the hospital if something isn't cooked right. I love all kind of greens but danger is not my friend.

Honey that was posted 4 years ago ! I don't think they would still have any ! You might try an old strip job back in the mountains somewhere now that's where I found mine and I froze 20 quart baggies full ! All you do is wash it ,look it for weeds , boil it until it wilts down and then drain the water off of it and put it in freezer bags and freeze it and you got it !!
