I think Mr. Shelton might be one of the next ones and a Guidance Counselor from KC I hear. That would save a lot of money and benefit the kids. I am thinking that KC was supposed to only have one anyway and with all the state people there and lower enrollment I think one could do it. If they put the young one back in the classroom it would help students because she was an awesome English teacher!

Are they moving people back to the classrooms or eliminating their jobs without moving them back into the schools?(Like the rumor about Merida coming to KC to teach business.)

Put Merida sowders Wyatt and shelton back in classroom. We need great teachers teaching plus it saves tons of money. Is that why Gina Martin got sent to Lynn camp?

The athletic director at Lynn Camp gets paid for 3 different jobs. Home bound teacher, Athletic director and a bus driver.

Not picking on Carla, but can she keep her position if she lives in Louisville. The advocate said she lived in Louisville.

I'd say Gina wanted to be closer to home. Not sure though.

I wonder if she is happier than all the teachers that lost their jobs at LC? Maybe she should be happy she has a job at all.

I don't know but honestly does it matter? I know I would rather be bringing home a tenured teachers salary than zero dollars, wouldn't you? The principal could keep her if he chose to. Lc handed out way more pink slips than 2.

One thing doesn't have anything to do with the other but Melton threw her under the bus perhaps when he could have kept her. Maybe Wyatt should be closer to home and sent to lc to teach English and don't the sowders live near lc?

Gina exemplifies how a teacher should interact with and teach children. She genuinely cares for ALL of the kids that she interacts with. She is intelligent, thoughtful, and has the demeanor that makes all of the young men and women that she comes in contact with in the school. Rich poor gifted or challenged , she is kind to them and promotes a good atmosphere for the kids to learn in. Same can be said about Mrs. Adams, another fine person and teacher who teaches in the business department at KCHS. Lynn Camp will be a better place with this lady on the faculty.
