Buying votes is a common thing during elections in Knox, That should be enough for you to vote against our current political leaders, without the Jail Tracker being a issue! I still say that more people wanted Jail Tracker than you think!

What cover up? What are they covering up by taking jail tracker down? You realize you can walk into the jail or court house anytime you want and see every single arrest made? If you really want Jail Tracker back on, I can tell you how. You'll have to take a dozen or so of your friends, and each of you call in to the jail every day and ask the question "Is (insert name here) in jail?" Find someone who is actually in jail, and call every single day, two or three times per day, and ask them if the person is in jail and ask them what the charges are and what the bond amount is. I guarantee you, if you flood the jail with these calls, they'll turn it back on. That was the entire purpose for jail tracker in the first place, to stop the flood of calls that comes into the jail everyday and the fact that they do not have the man-power to do all of their normal jobs plus answer 100 phone calls per day.

That takes way more time than a few mouse clicks.

If you want something, you can't be lazy and expect it to just fall in your lap. If you're not willing to work for it, then you don't deserve it.

You have no clue who I am. I guarantee you, you could get 10,000 guesses, and you'd never even come close. Well, now that I think about it, I do know a Courtney. She is like 9 years old and played on my daughters ball team. But I think she may spell her name with a K.

You are a convicted felon. Honestly, nothing you say really matters. You've admitted that you've spent time in prison, and that makes you someone not worthy of believing. And what did you expect when you got to prison, for everyone to treat you like it was the first day of school and be all nice to you? You are a convict and you got the treatment you deserved.

Guest wrote: <quoted text>Na, you need to go back and check your info. You are wrong. First, you cannot contribute every comment under the name Guest to me. Hell, there are hundreds of people that post under the name Guest. And there has been zero drugs in my life in a long, long time. Yes, I use to smoke weed. Have no problem what-so-ever admitting that. I'm no saint. I've done wrong in life. But, zero drug arrests in over 40 years speaks for itself. I have NEVER been on any jail tracker site in the USA or any other jail website because I don't do crime. The lord has blessed me with the ability to stop smoking weed, because I knew it was wrong. And people don't belong on jail tracker for things they use to do before they changed their ways. Also, I'm sorry that you dislike me so bad that you can't have a normal conversation on here without trying to bash me. Just like the comment you just posted here, it had zero to do with their thread of the conversation we were having. You just took the opportunity to try to bash me, and you failed. Also it's not a Crime to voice your opinion on such things.... My Opinion is that Marijuana should be totally Decriminalized for personal possession or use... Laws for Sales and Distribution are fine as they fall under to Sales Tax laws but Individual possession, grow and use should never bring criminal charges...

I have called and it does no good, once they find out who you are they wont answer the phone. If you call the judge he will tell you the jail personel are busy so call back. They call this the old run around method. The last time I called one of the male employees said he had someone he would send to my home and talk to me which I took as a threat and told them to do just that. So I called the judge and told him that I thought the fellow had threatened me but the judge said the employee was simply trying to help me by sending the info I wanted to my home.......So there you have it, the old run around. So I say vote there ass's out.

You're right about that, the tax payer's bought the equipment for the jailtracker program and it was'nt cheap. I told them at the fiscal court meeting that it was a shame to let the equipment just sit there but I was told they use it every day,it's just blacked out so the public doesn't have access to it anymore. The old run around again. I have a question for you,do you want the jailtracker? If your answer is yes,are you ready to attend some fiscal court meeting's? If your answer is yes I will be right there with you because thats the only way to get the jailtracker back.

I'm all for jail tracker, but I do understand that it has been extremely abused and has led to many, many people being harrassed.
I do believe they should turn it back on, but I think if charges are dropped, or you're found not guilty, your own info should come down immediately. But other than that, I'm with you, taxes paid for this stuff, and it should be available.
