What's going on with JT? Why is it not up anymore? Did Knox Co. decide to not participate anymore?

Does it have anything at all to do with the Ryan Foley case? It seems strange that it went offline at the same time Ryan was missing, and it never came back on.

Knox County use's jailtracker every day. The Fiscal Court and Jailer hasn't allowed it to be open to us"the public"for several month's now. Thank God Election day is comming and we need to vote they're ass's out of office.

I for one believe that they should keep it up and let it be public knowledge. However, I will say, it is rather dangerous to give that kind of info to the general public. I've heard of cases of abuse due to the JT website.

I also believe that if you're arrested, but the charges or dropped or you're found not guilty, then the entire thing should be erased from JT or it should be posted that the case was dismissed or won in court. Why? Because think about this. I know of a man who was never in jail one day in his life. He was a GREAT man, one of the finest you'll ever meet. He lived 70 years without so much as a speeding ticket. One day he is in the supermarket and runs into a lady with two young girls. He makes the comment to the lady that he would trade her a good mule for the two girls. The next day, he is in jail for serious felony charges that were something along the lines of child molestation and human trafficking, and spends three days there. He was disgraced in that town, and still to this day his picture shows on there and people in the community see it and believe he is a terrible man.

But the truth is, the line "I'll trade you a good mule" has been used millions of times by old-timers in our mountain region and I've heard it many, many times myself when old-timers would say it to some parent about their children. It's completely innoncent.

So they should either remove it from the website now that it was determined there was zero laws broken and zero intent to do something wrong, or it should show on there somewhere what happened in his case, so that when people see it, they do not think bad of him for something that was really just a father of two young girls trying to get money and sue someone.

I'm sure if you google it, you'll find this story. And it's only a few miles from you, not in another state.

Another reason the JT site is dangerous and harmful is, anyone can take a warrant out for you and have you arrested when the charges are 110 percent a lie. If I don't like you, and we are alone together, I can go call the police and tell them you threatened to kill me and pointed a gun at me, and I guarantee you, you'll be arrested and you're picture and your charges will be on JT and will never be removed.

But, the truth is, you never even spoke a word to me. I lied and pretty much ruined your rep and your life. How does it ruin your life? I guarantee you, if you live in a town that has JT, and you apply for a job, they are looking you up on JT. I hire somewhere between 50 to 75 people a year myself. Every single person I hire, I look them up on multiple JT sites before I offer them the job. I've turned people down for things I've seen on JT, even though I don't know if you were really guilty or not.

Well the Judge and Jailer are the 2 Main people that took it down ,,.Knox is the only county in this area that doesn't have Jailtracker so therefore they must go next election.

That is terrible. I agree with you in this case an innocent man was arrested. People will do anything these days to get a dollar that they don't have to work for at anyone ones expense. Not everyone is out to hurt a child. An innocent remark.

Na, you need to go back and check your info. You are wrong. First, you cannot contribute every comment under the name Guest to me. Hell, there are hundreds of people that post under the name Guest. And there has been zero drugs in my life in a long, long time. Yes, I use to smoke weed. Have no problem what-so-ever admitting that. I'm no saint. I've done wrong in life.

But, zero drug arrests in over 40 years speaks for itself. I have NEVER been on any jail tracker site in the USA or any other jail website because I don't do crime. The lord has blessed me with the ability to stop smoking weed, because I knew it was wrong. And people don't belong on jail tracker for things they use to do before they changed their ways.

Also, I'm sorry that you dislike me so bad that you can't have a normal conversation on here without trying to bash me. Just like the comment you just posted here, it had zero to do with their thread of the conversation we were having. You just took the opportunity to try to bash me, and you failed.
