Did Hamburger Hut ever get a public restroom? I think it should be mandatory for every restaurant to have a public restroom. The health department needs to look into this. I will not eat where there is no restroom. This is the modern world and should be treated as one. If it was anyone else we would not get away with it.

My family used to own a restaurant and it was mandatory we had at least one public [customer use] restroom with a way for people to use the toilet and a way to wash up. We could not get a business license or pass the health inspection without one. So I am real curious as to how HH got those without a restroom. I will not eat without being able to wash up first so I do not go to HH now.

i heard it was real good and sent my wife to get me two hamburgers and an order of fries.. the hamburgers were small with pre frozen thin patties also kind of dry with hardly no toppings. the large fries were a joke. any where else a small fry is a lot bigger than their large fry.. i made two in one at that place i'll never go back.. but if you ever want the best hamburger you ever ate go to richmond or lexington and stop in at cullivers and order their biggest bacon cheese burger and large fry for $ 7.00 and you won't be disappointed.

It's NOT a drive-in if they have inside seating-and HH does because we have been in there and sat down at a table awhile back. And as far as I know they still have seating since we last went there.

And are you really so stuck on stupid as to think people's hands don't get dirty while out and about doing their business? Do you eat after handling the shopping carts at any stores? Do you use your hands to handle your money or change you get? If so, you could have snot, sh!t, a$$crack crud, or God knows what on your hands. Money is one of the over-all nastiest things you could handle.

Don't take it that I am downing HH, they have good [real] food at a good price, the people who work there are polite and the place looks clean compared to many places we have been in. I am just saying that I don't see how [by health laws] they can get away with not having a public restroom since they have inside seating and are therefore NOT a drive-in...and that they NEED a public restroom.

"ah bull" is what I am saying to your comment, because my husband and I were just there about two weeks ago and they have big burgers and big fries, lots of toppings and will fix it any way you ask. And I saw them making the patties up and it was a big pack of REAL hamburger, not frozen patties, same as always. They just need a public restroom.
