How interesting. Did everyone jordan and watts get put in their place? If the three had done this before they wouldn't have lost their seats. Is Hulett next to be gone? Can't wait to see what they do in December. Teachers gets a 2% raise!!!!!!!

This foolishness and show boating will cause layoffs next year. And for what? 2% equals less than 15 bucks per week for teachers, less than 5 dollars for cooks, bus drivers, etc. Yet when you multiply it times all the employees in the district it will amount to over $400,000. I would guess this will cost several teachers and classified people their jobs. Of course, Crawford, Hossie, and Brown will have their revenge in leaving behind a bankrupt district saddled with a 5 year reciprocal agreement with Barbourville that could end up costing us another million or so.

Yep, sure put the Knox Schools in their place, didn't they.

You think this is funny? Really? These three men waltz into this Board meeting mad because they lose their positions and take it out on our SCHOOLS and you think this is FUNNY? Do you not realize that giving these raises when there isn't enough money to do so is going to mean job loss? This could be devastating to our school district!! AND YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY?

It's horribly sad!! I watched it on tv4 last night. I could tell the 3 that was voted out has a carefree attitude from the very beginning. It's a total shame that our children and our school system is gonna suffer because of political spiteful ignorance. These 3 men DO NOT CARE!! Thanks to Carla and Sam for trying to take a stand.

This type of ignorant attitude from all three ex board members is exactly why they lost their races in the first place!! I'm glad we will no longer suffer from their arrogant, ignorance any longer!!

Carla and Sam must be taking turns writing this. If you don't think all the lawsuits, and jobs at the board , plus the low test scores have cost the district money then I don't think a million in the rainy day fund will matter. Good job Hossie, Clarence and Kenny!!!!

Get rid of all the do nothings at the board, and there will be plenty of money
I counted over 40 people that have very little to do with big paychecks

I'm glad everyone got a raise. We've lost enough money over other things, let's help our teachers and bus drivers! Too bad these 3 are leaving, I'm wondering what type of Board Jerry Paul will have in place and what type of failures this is going to bring on.

We will see how "a million in the rainy day fund don't matter" when in three years teachers, janitors, aids and cooks are losing their jobs because they are closing a school! All because of 3 arrogant cry babies are mad over losing an election!

Carla and Sam are going to be replaced next.

They should just resign to save the embarrassment and take Huiette with them.

In three years teachers, janitors, aids and cooks are leaving their jobs because the place is a sinking ship. They are going to OTHER schools.

There is nothing Carla would want more than to give raises to ALL employees if the money was there!! IT'S NOT THERE TO GIVE!! Why is that so hard to understand?

I agree!! Carla is the only one actually qualified to be there. She actually is there for the kids! I don't know what in this world people are thinking!! This is going to be devastating for our district!! Those 3 men knew that before they even walked into that meeting too! This just shows you how little they care about our schools!!
