I used to live in Barbourville until about 10 years ago. This weekend I left Gatlinburg Tn. and decided to come back through Morristown and continue thru Middlesboro to Interstate 75.. I told my wife about living in Barbourville and how nice the little town was...I could not believe the city of Barbourville allowing the entrance of their city to be littered with junk cars! What was once a wholesale warehouse has been transformed into a junk yard. My God how could a city government allow this injustice to the residents of a city..anyother junk yard would have to have a fence around it so the public would not have to view it..This is a disgrace! Does anyone else feel this way? Just asking!

The City (as well as County...) lack of good leadership these days. Common sense is now dead and gone. Nincompoops are calling the shots now.

Yes! I totally Agree with you. It's crazy and I don't understand either. Alot of people have been talking about it. Someone had said the Mayor has something to do with it and that's why it's still there but I don't know this to be fact.

I agree with you.The city should never allow a mess like that at the entrance of or town it's a shame and disgrace, but I guess it will look like that until a new mayor is elected .Someone who want allow such as that.
