While there are legitimate beneficiaries in need of assistance, we must ask: Who is really “legitimate” and who should be the provider of benefits? The federal bureaucracy too often doles out rewards arbitrarily and inefficiently. Should we re-examine our support for a system in which young men in baggy pants with their hats on backwards can sit in front of a TV all day? And what about the single moms around town that these studs impregnated? Is their future determined and limited by food stamps, WIC and a welfare check as a way of life? How is that freedom? How compassionate is it really? This dignity-robbing degenerate sub-culture is instituted and sustained by federal government liberal ideology!

The contrast is the difference between earned success and learned helplessness and dependency.

Liberal policies reward failure, so of course we get more of it. The result is a pessimistic society, always seeking the victim and punishing the successful. The liberal culture, as put by former Arkansas governor and Baptist preacher Mike Huckabee, is one of “feed me, lead me, and bleed me.” The true American spirit encourages initiative, personal responsibility, and the optimism of a limitless horizon—rather than blame, grievance, and entitlement.

History proves that liberalism’s march toward utopian statism ultimately will find nothing sacred, not even life itself. Thus liberalism is the least likely system to honor the inherent worth of the individual—and the most likely to harm the most vulnerable in society such as the expendable elderly and the innocent unborn. Liberalism’s profession of tolerance is hypocritical, as liberals certainly seldom tolerate opposition to their errant views. Indeed, this hypocritical intolerance is so severe that it falls into the category of radical hatred, evidenced by the continuous barrage of untruthful ad hominem attacks on those who question them.(Just do an Internet search for “Obama Lies” or try listening to MSNBC sometime.)

While liberals may be moral and well-intentioned in their own lives, their views are not consistent with what is good. In actuality they are working to tear down or distort just about everything that is good and elevate what is evil—including in art, music, culture, business, politics, science, sexuality, education, truth, beauty, justice, morality, and logic. So ironically liberalism is neither moral, compassionate, tolerant, nor effective.

Liberalism has everything turned on its head. It punishes achievement, but rewards failure. Liberal thought is often opposed to a moral authority above itself, promotes the silliness of moral relativism, and is thus opposed to unalienable rights and obligations from God. It elevates the creation above the Creator and many times places earth-worship over real people.

Biblically ordered liberty with its emphasis on individual sovereignty and respect for others is moral. But liberalism in any form (progressivism, socialism, social democracy, communism, state capitalism, collectivism, regulationism)—and all other forms of aggressive utopian statism—are forms of tyranny, which is immoral. All forms of nanny statism have at their root the need to control other people by edict rather than by conscience.

“Christian” capitalism is the most moral, leads to the most freedom, promotes the work ethic and self-reliance, encourages responsible behavior, produces the most economic benefits for society, and serves as the foundation for true compassion and a virtuous society. Consider the many hospitals and outreaches to the poor and handicapped that churches run today. They provide charity more efficiently than the federal government, and they do it with heart and personal contact! Statism is inherently cold and inefficient, produces little, takes resources from the productive economy, and is therefore detrimental to growth and the welfare of its people.

History proves that the more that an economy is centrally planned by an elite group of people, the more it suffers. Interference into business by the state or confiscation of profits usually makes it more difficult for both employers and employees to earn success. Its reliance on big government leads to inefficiency of resources while teaching lack of discipline by example—all leading to the spiraling decline of society.

Among many things that liberals fail to grasp about economics is that it is not a zero-sum game. It is not like a fixed pie to be divided up. Over time, conservative principles will grow the whole pie to everyone's benefit!

Bottom line? Liberalism is a huge scam. Its failure is open and obvious.

From yesterday....maybe that is why those two "idiots" turned into RATS....lol

Officials in CA and TN deal with the rising tide: Idiots asking about ‘chemtrails’

Officials in multiple states have faced questions over whether clouds of water vapor that form behind airline jets are part of a secret government plot to create a more reflective atmosphere.

Residents of Shasta County in California questioned supervisors about the existence of so-called “chemtrails” on Tuesday, while a local Tennessee regulator’s explanation of the conspiracy theory was published on Monday.

According to reporter Richard DuPertuis, Shasta County residents complained that “chemtrails” being sprayed by jets were “ripping apart” the ozone layer and harming people’s immune systems. Attendees of the Board of Supervisors meeting claimed nanoparticles in the atmosphere where causing neurological problems and killing off aquatic insects.

One woman said the chemtrails were the cause of the drought in California.

“How better to get people off their land?” she remarked.

Believers in the chemtrails conspiracy are convinced that the clouds of condensation that form behind jets — normally called contrails — are being deliberately created as part of a secret geo-engineering program or a military weather control experiment. They believe the clouds really consist of various metals and chemicals.

Bob Colby, the director of the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Air Pollution Control Bureau, said in an interview with David Tulis of Nooganomics.com that the clouds that formed behind jets were natural-occurring phenomenon.

“Well, I’ve only looked at it briefly,” he explained.“It says that in collaboration with NOAA, NASA, the FAA and EPA, they had determined that persistent contrails are natural phenomenon that occurs at high altitudes from jet engines when the relative humidity levels are high in the upper atmosphere and the water vapor that comes out of the jet engines turns to ice particles, and then those ice particles, and then those ice particles grow larger as they collect moisture in the upper atmosphere that’s there in excessive amounts.”

But Tulis said his research suggested that the clouds are actually formed by sprayed “aluminum nanoparticulates.” The particles are being sprayed to make the atmosphere more reflective and block “the beating rays of the sun,” he claimed.

“When you go from your office door at the end of the day at 5:30 to your car, Bob Colby, do you have any sense that the sun being less strong than it used to be? To me the sun seems really weak,” Tulis added.

Colby said he hadn’t observed any difference.

Last month, an Arizona regulator answered questions about the conspiracy theory for nearly 2 hours. Republican state Sen. Kelli Ward called for the hearing, where residents complained that chemtrails were causing “very high levels of barium, aluminum and strontium in their blood.”

“Really, we are being sprayed like we’re bugs and it’s really not okay,” one attendee remarked.

I’m 83. Except for brief period in the 50s when I was doing my National Service, I’ve worked hard since I was 17. Except for some serious health challenges, I put in 50-hour weeks, and didn’t call in sick in nearly 40 years.

I made a reasonable salary, but I didn’t inherit my job or my income, and I worked to get where I am. Given the economy, it looks as though retirement was a bad idea, and I’m tired. Very tired.
I’m tired of being told that I have to “spread the wealth” to people who don’t have my work ethic. I’m tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it.

I’m tired of being told that Islam is a “Religion of Peace,” when every day I can read dozens of stories of Muslim men killing their sisters, wives and daughters for their family “honour”; of Muslims rioting over some slight offense; of Muslims murdering Christian and Jews because they aren’t “believers”; of Muslims burning schools for girls; of Muslims stoning teenage rape victims to death for “adultery”; of Muslims mutilating the genitals of little girls; all in the name of Allah, because the Qur’an and Shari’a law tells them to.

Arizona GOP Candidate Thinks YMCA Kids Are Immigrants (Video)

Apparently all children look alike to Adam Kwasman, state legislator (R-Ariz.). The politician had been revving up a crowd of potential voters at an Oracle protest over dozens of immigrant children being bussed to a local shelter there. Suddenly a yellow school bus full of children pulled up. Kwasman interrupted his speech, because he found exactly what he wanted – his “confrontation” with a bunch of kids.

He took off racing toward the bus, snapped a photo, then hustled back up to Phoenix. Some confrontation. Let Kwasman introduce himself.

On the ride back, he tweeted and included a photo of the yellow school bus. His tweet read,

Bus coming in. This is not compassion. This is the abrogation of the rule of law.

Brahm Resnik, reporter with 12 News, interviewed Kwasman upon his return. The politician launched into his story,

I was actually able to see some of the children in the buses. The fear on their faces – this is not compassion… When you have a rule of law, and a secure border, and an immigration and citizenship and immigration process that works, you don’t see this. This is a very sad state of affairs we have right now.

Unfortunately Kwasman’s story had a fatal flaw. Resnik indicated that 12 News reporter Will Pitts, who was also on location in Oracle, saw a completely different situation from Kwasman,

Pitts says he saw the children laughing and taking pictures of the media.

There was no fear on their faces. Those weren’t the migrant children in the school bus. Those were children from the Marana school district. They were heading to the YMCA’s Triangle Y Camp, not far from the Rite of Passage shelter for the migrants, at the base of Mt. Lemmon.

Kwasman didn’t miss a beat,

I said I saw children. Those were not immigrant children. That’s fine. I apologize.

Kwasman deleted his tweet

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services said that the bus carrying the immigrant children would not be coming to the shelter as scheduled.

The GOP state legislator is in a run-off race for the 1st Congressional District against Andy Tobin, House Speaker and a businessman, Gary Kiehne. Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick will face the winner in the general election.

Maybe Kwasman will learn that kids are kids – but in the ways that really count.

Does the GOP need a FrankenCandidate?

There will never be a perfect candidate, unless brilliant genetic engineers assisted by Watson the computer decide to undertake the task in the distant future. Until then, parties are left with flawed human beings, those bundles of virtues and vices that get proctoscopic treatment during long campaigns.

As long as she runs, Hillary Clinton appears to check most of the boxes that Democratic activists require, and one of her advantages is that her strengths and weaknesses are unusually well known. It’s hard to believe that voters will learn anything big about Hillary in 2016 that they don’t already know or suspect.

Not so for the potential nominees of the Grand Old Party. Republicans lack not only a frontrunner but also politicians who could thread every needle thrust forward by the party’s interest groups while still remaining electable in November.

For a moment, though, let’s drop the naysaying. Suppose the Republicans could construct an ideal contender for 2016—someone who could actually win without repealing the essential components of the GOP platform. What would the candidate look like?

POLITICO cartoonist Matt Wuerker, with some brainstorming (but not artistic) help from myself and the U.Va. Center for Politics’ Crystal Ball team, has cleverly assembled some of the possible “body parts” for the ideal Republican competitor. You can be the judge, but the internal contradictions of ideology and personality would likely rip apart this friendly Frankenstein fairly quickly. No party can have everything, a White House nominee cannot be all things to all people and choices must be made.

Yet even some hidebound conservative Republicans understand that their party needs to change or else conceivably go the way of the Whigs. Losing 80 percent of the nonwhite vote, at least 60 percent of young people, and around two-thirds of single women, as the GOP White House nominee now does normally, appears to be a formula for consistent defeat, especially when demographic changes favor disproportionate growth in most of the voter categories where Republicans have the least appeal. So is there a reasonable evolutionary path for the GOP that could produce a Cleveland Concordat—a platform with sufficient red meat to turn out hungry conservatives but enough tasty fruit, vegetables and dessert for persuadable moderates?

Act on changing demographics: Republican leaders have been urging this since the party’s “Growth and Opportunity Project” report from March 2013. Without a reasonable immigration plan to run on, the nominee will have a hard time improving much on Mitt Romney’s awful 2012 percentages among Hispanics (27 percent) and Asian-Americans (26 percent). Substance matters more than image, but diversifying the GOP ticket can’t hurt. The era of two white males per ticket ended with Romney-Ryan. Assuming Republicans have something to sell to minorities—not just symbolic identity politics but issue positions that appeal to targeted groups—the ticket must campaign aggressively in those communities. Otherwise, key states that used to be solid pieces of winning GOP electoral maps—such as Colorado and Florida—become harder to win.
