Are you trying to say that since SCOTUS (stacked deck at that time) is always right?
Maybe you could still be (if you are 18) 3/5 th's right...
see what I did there?
yes, I see what you did there...you said something stupid, as usual...
SCOTUS didn't decide the three fifths compromise, and it was an issue of representation in Congress, not personhood.
the 3/5 clause was erased by ratification of the thirteenth amendment, again, no SC involved.
I'm 5/5 right!(I guess if I were 18, I would be 8/5 right?)
Also, you didn't need to add the 'th's'
3/5 means 'three fifths', you said 'three fifthsths' and what the hell was the apostrophe for?

Hey Calvin did you see Jon last night...they're back.....
Jon Stewart Crushes Sean Hannity’s Hypocrisy, Cliven Bundy’s Idiocy (Video)
Leave it to Jon Stewart to mock conservative stupidity and hypocrisy better than almost anybody else in the business. On last night’s Daily Show, Stewart weighed in on the ridiculous Cliven Bundy situation that recently made headlines as armed idiots pretending to be some kind of militia convened in Nevada to show their support for Bundy and his 20 year battle to legalize his illegal cattle grazing.
Like many Americans who’ve heard about this story, Stewart seemed completely confused by the fact that Bundy has been getting support from quite a few people. He introduced his newest segment titled “I Don’t Get It”– brought to you by “Huh”? Because this situation makes absolutely no sense.
Cliven Bundy has violated federal law, courts have continually sided with the federal government in this matter, and his only “argument” seems to be that he doesn’t recognize the United States federal government therefore he doesn’t believe he should have to pay the fees. Stewart showed a clip of Cliven Bundy riding around carrying an American flag and then said,“If you reject the American federal government, at least have the decency of creating your own damn flag.”
That’s when he switched his attention to Sean Hannity and his hypocritical support for Bundy. Stewart showed several examples of Hannity attacking immigrant activists for “picking and choosing” which laws they want to follow and showed an example from Utah where atheist had lost a court battle (much like Bundy has lost his battles in court) where Hannity mocked these atheists, essentially telling them to get over it.
He then asked how “out there” has Sean Hannity become on this issue by showing a video of Glenn Beck explaining how common grazing fees are and how Bundy is essentially a “welfare rancher.” Stewart declared,“Sean Hannity has now made Glenn Beck the voice of reason.”
He then wrapped things up by responding to Bundy’s claim that he’s a little bit like the Founding Fathers. Stewart said,“Dude, you’re a welfare rancher trying to pull off the world’s largest cattle dine and dash.”
What this whole situation essentially breaks down to one man being so anti-government that he doesn’t recognize the federal government’s authority over land it owns. But when you really get down to it, it’s just some guy who doesn’t want to pay the fees he’s accrued over the years due to his cattle illegally grazing on federal land.
Here’s the video of the entire segment, it’s definitely worth watching if you have a few minutes:

Dole: Cruz, Paul & Rubio lack experience for 2016
Former Sen. Bob Dole (R-Kan.) said a number of junior GOP senators considering a presidential run in 2016 do not yet have the experience — specifically naming Sens. Rand Paul (Ky.), Marco Rubio (Fla.) and Ted Cruz (Texas).
The 1996 GOP presidential candidate sounded particularly skeptical of Cruz in an interview this week with The Wichita Eagle.
"A number of the younger members, first-termers like Rand Paul, Rubio and that extreme-right-wing guy, Ted Cruz — all running for president now. I don't think they've got enough experience yet," Dole said.
"The 90-year-old former senator said, however, his main concern about 2016 is living to see it through.
"If not ... I plan to vote absentee," he joked.
Last month, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) called on Cruz to apologize to Dole after a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference in which Cruz said Dole and other failed GOP presidential candidates had not stood on principle.
"All of us remember President Dole, and President McCain and President Romney," Cruz said at the time. "Now, look, those are good men; they're decent men, but when you don't stand and draw a clear distinction, when you don't stand for principle, Democrats celebrate."
Dole said Cruz is "way out there" on the extremes of the party and defended his own record, calling himself one of President Reagan's top supporters.
Dole is making a three-day tour of Kansas this week and has commented on subjects from Ukraine to the healthcare law.
Dole was critical of the Republican Party's platform on healthcare, saying, "they need to get together and coordinate, but they don't."
He took a few shots at President Obama, expressing skepticism about the healthcare exchange enrollment totals, which the administration has said surpassed 8 million.
The former Senate majority leader said the president "lacks strong leadership skills" and criticized him for not forging stronger relationships with members of Congress.
He also advocated for sending military support to the Ukrainian government after pro-Russian separatists have taken over a number of government buildings in eastern Ukraine.

In Bundy’s case the BLM never said that Bundy couldn’t let his cows trample the land, eat the grass or leave big old cow patties all over the place. They just asked that he contribute a small fee, to help ensure that the land is preserved for the rest of the American taxpayers. But the idea of simple, basic respect for the rights of others is beyond the comprehension of most tea party members. The idea that a person who owns livestock should carry the burden of the cost of feeding that livestock, is ‘tyranny,’ to tea-publicans. How dare the evil government expect Bundy to contribute to the cost of caring for his own livestock?
Will the right wing media outlets that pushed Bundy as a conservative hero report on the historical facts, now that they’ve been made public? Can we assume that sources like Fox News and Breitbart just failed to fact check Bundy, but didn’t purposely set out to mislead anyone? I highly doubt it. Remember the conservative mantra, the ends justify the means. If they can rile up enough tea party fanatics to provoke a violent confrontation with the government and ultimately start a civil war, they will accomplish what they set out to do a long time ago.
Here’s the full report on Bundy’s family history from KLAS-TV.

No, but that's 1% of richest in the country that you liberals hate so much, and Obama criticizes all the time, and that's why you didn't hear anywhere on liberal media ...same as Warren Buffet always telling YOU brainwashed liberals that he is not paying enough taxes, like someone is holding gun to his head, not to do it on his own ...but on the other hand his wolf pack of a lawyers are fighting government for paying so much taxes. How would Obama get donations,$50,000.00 a plate, if it is not for this 1%, YOU liberal hypocrites...???????

I'm not talking about murdering babies or any of that at all and you know that. I'm talking about woman's right's. When does the mother have the right to put her own life before the unborn fetus? If a woman passes away due to not having the right to an abortion, then who's the murderer?
**********

No, I don't know what the hell you were talking about in your post. First you say something about alternatives. You mention that if the dems were against abortion then the repubs would scream constitution, women's rights, etc., etc.

You have rights if you're a woman. You have the right to take birth control, you have the right to control the situation if you don't want kids, you have the right to a tubal, you have a right to the 3 month shot: Depo. You have a right to get your pills from the Health Dept. for a reasonable fee. And now they are talking about the day after pill, or whatever they call it, before this child becomes a viable human being.

All the above was told to me by a female relative who is an RN and has dealt with this (OB) for 30 years.

There are always exceptions to every rule, and if the mother's life plays a roll, you sure as hell don't need to wait six months to know this. Those tests are almost immediate. And incest and rape, all decisions that should be made early on - not between the friggin' population, government and others whose nose is in your affairs, but you, your family perhaps and your doctor! Period.

If it's incest, they should hang the mofo with a piano wire, castration would work. If it's rape, jail, harsh punishment would deter everybody but the crazies, of which there will always be some. Situations have alternatives, it depends on who it is, what the situation is and then, everybody should stay out of your business and let you decide. How many different situations do you want to discuss? I'm sure there's a multitude.

It's always been estimated that one cow needs one acre to graze on....or horse. If you feed them grains and hay then not so much, however. Not sure how many cattle Bundy has, but they rounded up 390, of which they were grazing on 160 acres. So you do have to feed extra somewhat.

What this Crone wants is Bundy and the like, to feed their own cattle. In that case, the price of her steak she loves to shovel in her big fat face is going to cost her far more than what she pays now.

An example: Dairy farmer in my area has 300 dairy cows of which he feeds due to the fact that there isn't enough grazing for all of them. The work involved in this task is sun up to sun down and then some. If all his cows could be free range, the cost of maintenance on this farm would be a lot less, not to mention less work for himself and his hired hands.

In this case, the gallon of milk you now pay approx.$4.27 for, would be a whole lot less.

So when they take away the cattleman's free range, you can expect to pay twice as much for a steak, ground round, pot roasts, etc. If they also have to supplement feed, and pay fees, the prices go up for you and me.

Bundy, whose animals graze on American soil, in the long run, is providing food at a more reasonable price for all who purchase his cows, thanks to the fact that they can free range on land *alleged to belong to all of us. Which way does she want it? A big fat T-bone she can afford or grade B beef from China or Mexico where there are no restrictions - or Burger King?

If you don't believe that, stop and talk to any farmer who raises cattle for our benefit.
