Mitch McConnell also 'always' votes against anything with the word 'woman' in it, unless it's something which takes rights from us. He pushed hard to stop the Violence Against Women Act. The odd thing about him is he is in Washington but if it involves women he will become involved in fighting state laws (bills) here in Kentucky. We had a bill here in Kentucky in 2012 that would have given adult women EPO protection from boyfriends and ex-boyfriends. Kentucky is one of only four states in the nation that doesn't give this protection. But McConnell for some reason took it upon himself to speak out against it and influence the Republicans in Frankfort to kill the bill.

A footnote on why this bill was a very good one (and why it's enacted into law in other states). Kentucky EPO law only covers if a woman is married or divorced, lives with the man, or they have children in common. It 'does not' give emergency protection from boyfriends or ex-boyfriends which have become dangerous and is an immediate threat. They can and have been just as dangerous as a husband or ex-husband.

But Mitch McConnell helped stop this bill from giving this protection. And it was a state bill that he shouldn't have even been involved in.

I failed to mention the EPO bill I told about would not have been a separate EPO law. It would only have added protection against boyfriends and ex-boyfriends to the list of the present EPO law.

There is a difference in ideology.
Capitalism is more in the Repubs way of thinking and socialism is in the way Democrats think/ It is not to war on women,(that is a figment of the way Democrats think) but it is a way of freedom, all the market should allow is where pay should be.
There is nothing fair in forcing a corp to pay every one the same. if they can not produce the same.
Have you any solution as to why all the rich have gotten richer under the present administration---and yet say the Republicans are for the rich? Common sense should apply.
Wow !!! So you think a company should be able to pay a woman less because she is a woman. What about Blacks? Pay them less because they are Black?
The Rich getting richer starts back 30 years ago with RayGun. First he cut their taxes by over 50% than started the process of removing Unions. Before RayGun the average CEO made 23 times that of the worker. Today they make almost 300 times more. If the average workers' income grew as fast as the top 1% their incomes would be $92,847/yr. At the time RayGun announced Trickle Down the Top had a wealth of $8 Trillion. Today they have $46 Trillion. The Walton Family (Walmart) have more wealth than 41.5% of all Americans combined. So to answer your question is simple, Trickle Down Economics destroyed the American worker.

Hi and good morning!

An interesting fact from history. By old testament law if your football is made of pigskin you could have been burned alive (or something like that, it could have been stoning) for touching it. Touching dead pigs or parts was a grave sin. If someone still believes in the old testament then I guess you still suppose to be toast ..... burnt bacon ..... out of the frying pan into the fire, and all those other breakfast related bad things.

Maybe that's why the Broncos got totally crushed. They were just nervous about what the football may have been made of and wanted to handle it as little as possible.

No war on us (women)? Read my fourth post above this one (counting this one). That isn't just a war on us ..... they are after nuclear annihilation of our rights. They want us out of the workplace and back at home like in the 1950s.
