Participating and being corrupt are two very different animals. Pelosi and Reid lied, cheated, stole, bribed and bullied their own party members to get Obama's healthcare legacy law passed. Their ties with unions went a long way in getting this train wreck passed and now unions want a waiver because, as the Republicans stated, this train wreck called Obamacare is a job killer and 1/6th of Obama's horrible economy.
That is an example of corruption in Congress today. The democrat politicians didn't even bother to read the bill that would be forced on every man, woman and child in the United States of America. Reread that sentence and then think about it for a moment. Enough said, huh?

Same old Doom and Gloom fear talk about ObamaCare as is was when the Repubs were talking about Medicare 40 years ago. I have yet in my life time to see the first Republican refuse to sign up for Medicare because of it being a government ran socialist universal healthcare plan. The thing that is different with ObamaCare is it in no way is paying health cost. Insurance middleman still does that part.
.
Speaking of part. Any Repub come up with specific reasons I should not like ObamaCare? Job killing doesn't make the list since that is bullshit that providers are worst off with a patient having insurance than a patient without any.

Why America is Exceptionally Exceptional
By James Lewis

Well, our "leaders" have now resorted to personal name-calling, Obama twisting Putin's tail about looking lazy, and Putin catcalling right back by warning Obama about "people who think they are exceptional." I think Putin was talking about Our Hero, who has suffered all his life from being told he was exceptional, so that now he can't get rid of that mental tic.

Putin is perfectly right about Obama, of course.

All nations are exceptional, but America is exceptionally exceptional. Yes, Russia is exceptional, and all Russians constantly complain about their exceptionalism over a vodka at the kitchen table.

Well, all kids are exceptional, but our own kids are exceptionally exceptional.

Good historians have started to remind us about the facts on American exceptionalism again, after living in absurd denial during the reign of PC. In case you haven't read Niall Ferguson, Paul Johnson or Victor Davis Hanson on the topic of American history lately, may I remind all the Obamaphiles and Putineers of the facts?

Do you know who Warren Buffet is?

One billionaire democrat FYI.

Warren Buffett Trashes ObamaCare
September 18, 2013 by Breaking News 7 Comments

With recent polling showing ObamaCare more unpopular than ever, Barack Obama cannot even count on faithful allies for support. In a recent interview, renowned investor and leftist icon Warren Buffett detailed his dissatisfaction with the behemoth law.

He was surprisingly candid in his remarks, saying the plan for socialized medicine is akin to “a tapeworm eating … at our economic body.” Buffett’s main objection to the law is its obvious disregard for cost-effectiveness. Despite its official name, he said the Affordable Care Act is anything but.

Insisting “we need something else,” Buffett said American already face high health care costs, and “if you take this line and you project what has been happening into the future, we will get less and less competitive.”

Obama’s rhetoric revolves around providing coverage for the uninsured, even though many of those individuals choose to forego medical coverage; and a complete overhaul of our healthcare system is not necessary to provide assistance to the rest. Buffett said that focus is misguided and urged legislators to instead work to make insurance less expensive.

“Attack the cost first,” he said,“and then worry about expanding coverage.”

Proving to be a better judge of American sentiment than ObamaCare’s proponents, he aptly concluded “the American public is not behind this bill.”

While there is no shortage of areas between which Buffett and the typical conservative might disagree, he did not achieve his stature by investing in foolhardy, wasteful ventures.

The fact he could put aside partisanship to address the devastating cost associated with ObamaCare should be a wake-up call to those who still maintain a blind allegiance to the law. The chance of such ideologues actually hearing something other than their own preconceived notions, however, is incredibly slim.

When he is advocating a tax spike in the midst of a relentless recession, Buffett is heralded as a clairvoyant by the liberal elite. When the same man advocates dismantling ObamaCare — the modern progressive’s Holy Grail — the media silence is deafening.

Obamacare: Walgreens Dropping Current Coverage for 160,000 Workers

Walgreen Co.(WAG), the biggest U.S. drugstore chain, will move its workers into a private health insurance exchange to buy company-subsidized coverage, the latest sign of how the debate over Obamacare is accelerating a historic shift in corporate health-care coverage. Walgreen’s decision affects about 160,000 current employees and follows similar action this year by Sears Holdings Corp.(SHLD) and Darden Restaurants Inc.(DRI) As an alternative to administering a traditional health plan, all three will send their employees to an exchange run by Aon Plc.

IBM and GE recently announced similar changes in their retirees plans, which are not to be confused with UPS' decision to drop spousal coverage. CBS News reported the "big deal" announcement this morning, noting that employees may have to swallow more out-of-pocket costs due to Walgreens' cost-saving move:

OCCUPY WASHINGTON
OBAMA'S RECKONING IS HERE
Exclusive: Larry Klayman calls for resignation of 'convicted' president

On Nov. 19, 2013, a day that will hopefully live on in the history of our once great republic, I call upon millions of Americans who have been appalled and disgusted by Obama’s criminality – his Muslim, socialist, anti-Semitic, anti-Christian, anti-white, pro-illegal immigrant, pro-radical gay and lesbian agenda – among other outrages, to descend on Washington, D.C., en masse, and demand that he leave town and resign from office.

I further propose that we borrow the techniques perfected and used by such epic crusaders such as Mahatma Gandhi to show Obama and his enablers that the American people are more than fed up and will not take it anymore. The millions who are being summoned to our nation’s capital should mass in front of the White House, chanting for Obama to get out of our nation’s capital. In addition, I propose bringing the victims of his reign of terror to a podium across from the White House in Lafayette Park to give their testimony on how he has singularly severely harmed and in some instances even killed their loved ones through his actions.
