Here you go loon, you love to bash the gays, I bet you will get a chill over this one. Ignorant bigot.

Russian Bullies Video Brutal Attack And Rape Of Gay Man At Gunpoint While The American Right Cheers Them On

The violence against homosexuals in Russia continues, much to the delight of anti-gay conservatives here in America, and on September 11th, yet another brutal act was carried out on a gay person in the wake of new anti-gay laws in that nation.

While Americans were busy honoring the thousands who perished 12 years ago on Wednesday, a group of Russian vigilantes lured a gay man out on what he believed would be a “date,” then viciously attacked and raped him at gunpoint just for being gay.

According to Radio Free Europe, the unidentified man “is asked to identify himself and is stripped of his clothes, which are later burned. He is then handcuffed, beaten, insulted, and threatened with a gun. Ultimately, he is forced to sodomize himself by sitting on a bottle, which is then pushed with a bat. The man, visibly terrified, weeps throughout much of the ordeal.”

All of this was apparently recorded and uploaded to social media on an app called WhatsApp, and most of the app users disgustingly applaud the inhumanity of these bullies.

A source who claims to have taken part in the brutality told RFE/RL that “We made him sit on a bottle so that he repents for his sins and comes to reason.”

This act of violence occurs as part of a wave of violence and hatred that has erupted across Russia since the country passed anti-gay laws earlier this year. Russian authorities have been arresting gay people and government officials are threatening to arrest gay tourists and Olympic athletes as the 2014 Winter Olympic Games inches ever closer.

As troubling as the events in Russia are, it is perhaps even more concerning how anti-gay conservatives here at home are cheering for Russian President Putin and the policies he is putting in place to terrorize the LGBT community.

American Family Association spokesman and radio host Bryan Fischer has openly praised Russia’s anti-gay policies and has admitted on the air that conservatives want the US Government to be just as hostile towards gays and lesbians. Pat Buchanan has echoed Fischer and right-wing media boss Matt Drudge has declared Putin the “new leader of the free world.” In addition, six conservative groups have endorsed Russia’s anti-gay policies.

Violence against gays and lesbians isn’t nearly as common in America as it is in Russia but it does happen. In Florida, a woman was raped by some anti-gay men after she walked out of a club in Orlando. They were punishing her for being a lesbian.

Will conservatives condemn the violence being perpetrated against the LGBT community, or is this also the kind of action they want to see happen in America? Clearly, conservatives want America to be more like Russia. So it is fair to assume they also want a wave of violence to occur here as well. Such policies and brutal acts run completely contrary to the Constitution, a document that conservatives would shred to achieve their anti-gay agenda. The Constitution is the law of the land, but conservatives would institute their own interpretation of Biblical law across the nation. It’s totally anti-American and would turn America into a frightening place to live. Do we really want to live in a nation that values hatred and brutality like Russia, a country that until recently conservative referred to as an enemy of the Unites States? Or do we want to live in peace under the Constitution where everyone is protected equally under the law and consenting adults can love whomever they please? The choice is up to us.

Tim Huelskamp Explains Why 42nd House Vote To Repeal Obamacare Will Be Better Than The Previous 41

WASHINGTON -- House Republicans have now voted 41 times to repeal Obamacare, knowing each time that those bills would go nowhere in the Senate and never get the green light from President Barack Obama.

But Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-Kansas) is amped up about attempt number 42. He and other Tea Party lawmakers in the House are pushing GOP leaders to tie a vote to defund the Affordable Care Act to a must-pass, temporary spending bill aimed at keeping the government funded past Oct. 1, when current funding runs out. The effort has been a serious headache for GOP leaders, who want to appease their Tea Party flank but don't want to risk a government shutdown.

Huelskamp was excited this week as he talked to reporters about the latest strategy for killing Obamacare.

"None of the other votes were on must-pass bills. They were on individual bills," he told The Huffington Post, comparing the House's past attempts to sink Obamacare to baseball. "We've had 42 different swings at the bat. Forty-two different exhibition games. But we've never actually had a regular season."

Huelskamp told HuffPost things will be different this time because the legislative vehicle being used gives repeal proponents more leverage.

"We haven't had it on the C.R. yet," he said, referring to the temporary spending measure, known as a continuing resolution. "We have 85 who say they want a vote on this."

House Republican leaders have the rest of the month to come up with some way to keep their party together without bringing the government to a screeching halt. Either way, Senate Democratic leaders said Thursday the only thing they'll allow through their chamber is a clean bill to keep the government running. No Obamacare provisions.

"They know we will not repeal Obamacare. We have the high ground," said Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), chairman of the Senate Democratic Policy and Communications Center.

"If we say to them,'We dare you, shut down the government unless you repeal Obamacare, we dare you, risk the full faith and credit of the United States until we end Obamacare,' they will lose," he said. "That's the dilemma."

Asked what the next step will be if the Senate refuses to budge on its demand for a clean spending bill, Huelskamp said he didn't have a specific plan yet.

"We've got plenty of time," he said. "We've got three weeks."

The Myth Of Socialism

Since President Obama took the oath of office it has become the rhetoric of the GOP that anything that doesn’t agree with them is “socialist” or “leading us towards socialism.” It seems, historically, that this is the tactic of the Republicans every time the Democrats propose policies (mainly health care reform) that they don’t agree with. The fallacy of their statements is that they have made them repeatedly throughout history, and America is still not a Socialist nation. Any time that the Republicans do not hold the Presidency, and cannot push their agenda, they resort to McCarthyism. Never once in our history has a President advocated for the complete Government take-over of all private industries. I have friends that identify as Socialist and they can’t believe that they are being so grossly misrepresented by the right-wing media. To Republicans, the term “Socialist” or “moving towards Socialism” has come to mean ANY industry involved with the Government. Republicans are also arguing that if you support any type of Government-run agency then you must be a socialist who supports a “nanny-state.” It’s very easy to compile a list of Presidents called “socialist” by their enemies for policies which did not agree with the Republicans.

President Obama is called a “socialist” for wanting to raise taxes on the wealthy, bailing out the auto-industry and for his health care bill.
President Clinton was called a “socialist” for wanting to take 60% of the budget surplus over the course of 15 years and put it towards Social Security, while investing a portion in the private sector. He was also a “socialist” for wanting to raise taxes and expand health care.

President Carter was called a “socialist” for creating the Department of Energy and the Department of Education, and for wanting to expand health care.

President Johnson and President Kennedy were called “socialist” for introducing The Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act, with President Johnson also a “socialist” for establishing Medicare and Medicaid.

President Truman was called a “socialist” for supporting “The Fair Deal”, and “The New Deal”, and for wanting to expand health care. His health care reform ideas have since been acknowledged as the inspiration for Medicare and Medicaid.
President Franklin Delano Roosevelt was called a “socialist” for introducing “The New Deal”, and for proposing universal health care as part of the Social Security Act.

Are you starting to see a pattern here? When I started to realize this pattern emerging that seems to target the Democratic leadership, I started wondering; “what do Republicans think socialism means?” So I decided to find out. I asked some Republicans how they personally define “socialism”. Here are some of the answers I got:

Ok, so what I can summarize from these responses and the others that I have received is that the common perception of “socialism” or “moving towards socialism” is when the Government is interfering in the private sector, as well as the actions of any agency that is funded by taxpayer money. I should make it clear that I’m not a proponent of socialism, and I don’t believe that Government should take over the private sector.

One more before I go just to piss you CONS off:

After Deal on Syria Reached, Obama’s Brilliance Shown — Republicans Still Completely Lost

It’s only been a couple of weeks since President Obama made his comments public about his desire to use military force in Syria, following the developments that Assad had used chemical weapons to murder over 1,000 men, women and children.

And I don’t know about you, but the back and forth these last few weeks has made it seem as if this debate has been going on for months. When in reality it’s been less than a month.

Well, it’s been revealed that a deal has been reached to remove chemical weapons from Syria. Chemical weapons that until just a few days ago, Syria denied even having.

So, between today and a month ago, what’s changed? Nothing—except Obama’s brilliant move on Syria.
Sure, Republicans will try and say Putin got the better end of the deal and Obama’s push for military involvement was met with such backlash that he had to tuck his tail between his legs and “give in” to public pressure.
Really?

Let’s just look at a few of the facts.

Absolutely nothing was being done in Syria—nothing.

Then the story broke about chemical weapons being used resulting in the slow, and painful slaughter of over 1,000 Syrians.

Still, nothing was being done.

Then President Obama surprisingly decides to make his intentions public about his desire to use military force in response to Assad’s use of chemical weapons.

Now, at this moment President Obama doesn’t need Congressional approval for a limited military strike—per the War Powers Act. He had the authority to authorize military strikes for 60 days without Congressional approval along with another 30 days for withdrawal.

Instead, he decided to seek Congressional approval. But not instant approval—no, no. He simply made his intentions public, then allowed Congress to come back from recess at their normally scheduled time.

While waiting for Congress to return, he went on a “campaign” of sorts to explain to the American people why it was so important that we use our military in Syria. He made as many public appearances as his schedule seemed to allow for to plead his case.

CONtinued:

During this time Republicans didn’t seem to know what the heck to do. Some who had supported military involvement in Syria suddenly opposed it.

Some supported the president’s plan—though didn’t seem to do so enthusiastically. Even some who applauded the president for saying we needed to get involved suddenly changed their opinion and said they wouldn’t support his proposal.

In short, Republicans had gone “all-in” on the belief that President Obama would skip Congressional approval and “go it alone.” When he didn’t, they really didn’t know what the hell to do.

But while the right-wing circus played out, Obama continued his strong push for using our military in Syria. This quickly got Russian President Vladimir Putin’s attention, and suddenly the world was talking about Syria.

So a situation that just one month ago nobody was really discussing, was suddenly front page news on nearly every media outlet around the world.
Now after all the political posturing, a deal has been reached—in just over two weeks.

But some people want to give the credit to Republicans or Vladimir Putin? Are you kidding?
Neither of them were doing a damn thing about Syria. Neither of them seemed to really “make Syria a topic that needed to be discussed.” Sure, a few Republicans had given speeches about Syria, but they weren’t really pushing for any sort of action to be done about the reported use of chemical weapons.

It wasn’t until President Obama publicly stated that he supported military action that anything began to get done. It wasn’t until President Obama campaigned in support of military action that a deal to remove chemical weapons was discussed.

And when President Obama had the clear authority to unilaterally take military action in Syria for a very limited strike, he instead chose to take his time and seek Congressional approval.

Something he knew he would never need—because he never intended to “go to war,” and didn’t truly want to use military action unless it was used as a last resort.

You can’t tell me that had Obama not made his intentions public a couple of weeks ago, we’d have this deal today. There’s no way. If President Obama hadn’t taken the action he did, nothing would have been done.

So while Republicans are still scrambling for answers, trying to spin this as some kind of victory for their party (with some even giving credit to the Russian president as opposed to our president), Obama not only managed to get Syria to admit that it possessed chemical weapons—we now have a deal where Syria will surrender these weapons so that they can be destroyed.

And he did all of that without firing one bullet, using one missile or dropping a single bomb.
So Mr. Putin, Republican critics and others who have criticized the president’s handling of this situation, all I’ve got to say to you folks is—checkmate.

http://www.forwardprogressives.com/after-deal...

hahaha, those repukes were flip flopping like fish out of water. haha Played right into his hands. Smart PRESIDENT.
