It'll be interesting, to say the least.
That it will be. Christie is the only prayer the GOP have for a viable candidate. They diss him for taking care of his people and thanking President Obama for not doing a Bush Katrina on him and will back all the junior teabaggers with NO experience. I believe Hillary is the most experienced and despite Benghazi she was still voted the Most Admired Woman in the USA/WORLD in January. She can handle it and has built good standing with foreign countries. All that matters.

Mitch McConnell struggles to reassert control over GOP caucus

Tomorrow the Senate is set to vote on whether to end debate on the big transportation and housing bill that has been working its way through the Senate. The vote is a key test as to whether Mitch McConnell is truly losing control of his caucus as a bloc of Republican Senators indicates a willingness to break with the GOP leadership and join with Democrats in governing.

Democrats are actively using the confrontation to try to put McConnell in a difficult spot. Rand Paul offered an amendment today (that was defeated) that would have nixed aid to Egypt. It was supported by a bevy of Tea Party Senators, and McConnell voted No on tabling the motion. I’m told Dems allowed the vote explicitly to put McConnell in the position of having to decide whether to break with Tea Partyers in his caucus.

The big vote — on whether to end debate on the measure — is set for this afternoon, and if Dems can persuade a handful of Republicans to again vote to move the bill forward on the floor, it will be a sign that a sizable bloc of Republicans in the Senate remains willing (as on executive nominations) to break with the leadership. That could bode well for this fall’s coming confrontations over the debt limit and replacing the sequester, since Dems still hope to win over a handful of Senate Republicans in a manner that will ratchet up pressure on House Republicans to cave on one or both fronts.

That said, Dems already see cause for pessimism in the mere fact that McConnell is lobbying GOP Senators to oppose the transportation bill. That’s because McConnell’s apparent need to prove he can kill this bill — in the face of whatever rebellion we’re seeing among Republicans inclined to support it — suggests he needs to reestablish that he can indeed control his caucus and prevent any compromising with Dems from moving forward, for his own political purposes. That doesn’t bode particularly well for what’s to come.

Looks like turtleman will have to decide which of his two parties asses to kiss. PRICELESS

GOP leaders refuse to level with the base about Obamacare

Indeed, one GOP aide strategically leaked to Politico that Boehner doesn’t want such a showdown, and that he has privately warned Republicans “of the political dangers of shutting down the federal government.” And yet, in the very same leak, the GOP aide quickly clarified that Boehner absolutely isn’t ruling out this step by any means.

What remains striking here is that, by keeping this possibility on the table, Republican leaders continue to feed the delusion that the threat of a government shutdown gives Republicans leverage over Obamacare. In political and substantive terms, this is complete nonsense. In political terms, it’s a loser. In substantive terms, a government shutdown would not stop Obamacare funding in any case. GOP leaders know this, but continue to keep the possibility alive, anyway.

That’s true. And by keeping the notion alive that an epic confrontation could still force the defunding of Obamacare, GOP leaders are, in effect, keeping that dishonesty going. A handful of Republican Senators have had the courage to step forward and call out all of this BS for what it is. The only question is whether the continued flirtation with it by GOP leaders will force more Republican Senators to break with these tactics.

Empress Hillary, 2016
By Stella Paul

Hillary has already ordered the diamond tiara and gold scepter for her 2016 coronation, and a whole village of enslaved Chinese orphans is weaving her red carpet right now.

Sooner than you can say "Obama who?" Hillary will ascend to her rightful position of World Empress. The optics will dazzle us. Adorned in a floor length cape made from the dead cats of Bill's mistresses, she will bless us all from her 20-foot- platinum throne, gifted by our dear friends in Saudi Arabia.

True, she'll be a bit long in the tooth, but a federal edict, upheld by the Supreme Court, will force us all to wear Google Glass. Hillary's face, devised by Hollywood courtiers, will appear as a clever blend of her own features, circa 1983, and Scarlett Johansson's.

A subtle halo will hover at all times.

Do you find this vision objectionable? Fear not, for Empress Hillary will care for us with the tender ministrations she lavished on the abandoned, slaughtered Americans in Benghazi.

And should you find yourself raped and dragged through the streets by screaming Muslim mobs, be assured that Hillary will comfort your survivors by jailing an unknown filmmaker.[Who is STILL in jail btw...WHY]

If that was good enough for an American ambassador, surely that should be good enough for you.

Now what Royal Personage do you picture reigning by her side? His Supreme Excellency Bill, chuckling amiably and feeling up the maids?

More 'goodies' here!

The Obama dictatorship is virtually complete.
Living Under Tyranny and the Solidification of the Obama Dictatorship

By Sher Zieve (Bio and Archives) Tuesday, July 30, 2013
Comments |
The Obama dictatorship is virtually complete. Since he began the occupation of what was once our White House, the dictator-in-chief has been busy writing one Executive Order after another designed to replace US law…with ObamaLaw.

Under normal and saner times, these EOs would mean little-to-nothing because the checks and balances of co-equal branches of government would render them null and void if they flew in the face of Constitutional law. But, today, insanity is reigning supreme.

Note: For those of you raised in the government public school systems over the last three decades, the US Congress (which includes the House of Representatives and the Senate) and SCOTUS (the Supreme Court of the United States of America) are co-equal (under the US Constitution) with and to the Executive branch and each of the three branches of the US federal government legally carries 1/3 each of the power to run said government.

However, co-equal branches of the US government—like the Bill of Rights for US citizens—are no longer applicable in the USA. They have been replaced by dictatorial rule of and from the US White House; specifically under the now almost complete tyrannical control of Barack Hussein Obama. Why? Because Congress refuses to act and/or follow through on stopping Obama and his demolition-of-America team from destroying the US Constitution, individual rights and SCOTUS is now openly ruling in both bizarre and unconstitutional ways. This abrogation of duty has resulted in the submission of the Legislative and Judicial branches of government to the Executive branch.

Question: Are members of Congress and SCOTUS (minus their female members) now required to bow down and pray five times a day in the direction of Washington D.C. to Obama? Does Obama provide the prayer mats?

What has occurred that has allowed this to happen is nothing less than treason and the “aiding and abetting of the enemies of the United States of America.”

Chattonooga Newspaper Editorial Snatches The Welcome Mat Out From Under Obama Jobs Visit
July 31, 2013 by Ben Bullard
“Take your jobs plan and shove it, Mr. President: Your policies have harmed Chattanooga enough.”
That was the headline that ran above a scathing editorial in Tuesday’s Chattanooga Times Free Press greeting President Barack Obama, who arrived hours later to deliver his “grand bargain” jobs proposal that would offer tax cuts to corporations and shell out more government subsidies for jobs programs.
Never mind that the proposed corporate tax cut — from 35 percent to 28 percent — far undercuts the 39.6 maximum that small business owners, the backbone of Obama’s ostensibly dear middle class, can pay under his policies.
Without waiting for the President to lay out his new ideas later in the day, the Free Press held no quarter with Obama’s past attempts at “stimulating” the economy:
President Obama,
Welcome to Chattanooga, one of hundreds of cities throughout this great nation struggling to succeed in spite of your foolish policies that limit job creation, stifle economic growth and suffocate the entrepreneurial spirit.
Forgive us if you are not greeted with the same level of Southern hospitality that our area usually bestows on its distinguished guests. You see, we understand you are in town to share your umpteenth different job creation plan during your time in office. If it works as well as your other job creation programs, then thanks, but no thanks. We’d prefer you keep it to yourself.
That’s because your jobs creation plans so far have included a ridiculous government spending spree and punitive tax increase on job creators that were passed, as well as a minimum wage increase that, thankfully, was not. Economists — and regular folks with a basic understanding of math — understand that these are three of the most damaging policies imaginable when a country is mired in unemployment and starving for job growth.
Even though 64 percent of Chattanooga respondents said they would rather you hadn’t chosen to visit our fair city, according to a survey on the Times Free Press website, it’s probably good that you’re here. It will give you an opportunity to see the failure of your most comprehensive jobs plan to date, the disastrous stimulus scheme, up close and personal.
…So excuse us, Mr. President, for our lack of enthusiasm for your new jobs program. Here in Chattanooga we’re still reeling from your old one.

Americans from all walks are totally fed up with Obama's hand picked disaster manipulators and spin doctors. False scandals don't get high ups fired, false scandals, don't testify before congressional committees and commit perjury, false scandals don't get global attention and support and then move to another nation for safety, false scandals don't come home in body bags.

Exclusive: Ted Nugent notes stark irony of Obama using P-word to describe scandals

It is very difficult to ignore accusations of phoniness from the master of all things phony who has dedicated his entire life to one phony scam after another. But when this unprecedented level of criminal abuse of power is so flagrantly dictated from the most powerful man in the world, good Americans should be quivering in our boots.

No, Mr. President, those are not phony tears from Brian Terry’s mother. Those are real tears, unlike your constant phony blather about caring about the middle class as you continue your well-orchestrated kamikaze economic swan dive for the average American family.

And, be assured, you old Chicago ACORN scammaster you, that those were not phony body bags that arrived home from Benghazi. As the greatest phony America has ever known, like your phoniest phony “job” as community organizer, your phony claims to get to the bottom of that horrific dereliction of duty by your phony secretary of state was just another scam of phony smoke and mirrors to placate your phony sheep-like constituency.

Phony is as phony does, Mr. President, but none of the tea party or conservative Republicans’ claims of illegal targeting by your phony IRS jackboots is phony by any stretch of the imagination.

We believe your earlier claims that such accusations were serious was just more of your phony baloney.

You want phony, Mr. President? I give you your top cop of the United States, your own phony attorney general who refuses to charge your Black Panther buddies with any crimes even though you both saw the same footage of your phony buddies committing numerous federal and state felonies when they threatened and intimidated voters in Philadelphia.

Nothing phony about those criminal gangsters.

Exclusive: Phil Elmore warns of devious online manipulation we've all been victims of

The modern, social media-connected world has done more than connect countless friends, family members and strangers with the many sociopaths in their midst. Arguably, connectivity through the Internet is generating more sociopaths, fostering this “disorder” and swelling the ranks of manipulative, remorseless miscreants throughout society.

Internet sociopaths are so experienced in online manipulation that what they do is akin to extortion. The sociopath will hector, harass and harangue a victim until that victim grows weary of the conflict. Seeking peace, the victim may try to extend an olive branch, offering a kind of forced civility or simulated friendship. Our social media have already redefined “friend” as “someone with whom I have passing interests in common” or even “someone to whom I am ostensibly connected for some reason both of us have forgotten.” It isn’t too far a leap from this to “forgiving” the lies, threats and machinations of an online sociopath in the hope that befriending such a person will earn you a cessation of hostilities.

Hi AL, I'm doing fine, just been super busy lately. Hope you're doing alright? Like ARI said, all Americans are fed up. I'm hearing it more and more every day.

I read bits and pieces where you guys were talking about computer issues recently. That's part of the reason I took a break from here. But it has come to my attention that several of the posters here are one and the same person. lol

In my opinion it takes a pretty pathetic screw up to attempt to cause issues with someones computer. Also found out charges can be filed in relation to that crap too. Against the law too, Woohoo, may take a little more time to correct some things but we will see.

I'm beginning to wonder if anyone on this sight is real or if the whole thing is phony baloney, like Ted says!

Just like awhile ago when I "responded to Jay", I got a Netflix screen pop up back in behind my topix screen. I don't know if she did it or not? I'd like to think not, but like I said, people on here sure don't seem to be what they are claiming.

And I've found out that One loud mouthed liberal is all over ALL topix sights, all the way down the southernmost end of the united states and everywhere in between, posting by many different names but spewing the same crap. All ya have to do is look.
Which certainly would make it appear that poster is working for the Left. Which also explains some other things as well.
But that's all I can say right now about it.

I do hope you keep posting great links, I occasionally read what you all post and skip over the crap. haha So continue the good work!

Kentucky Senate election 2014: Poll predicts tight race

Mitch McConnell and Alison Lundergan Grimes are running roughly even in the 2014 Kentucky Senate race, according to a new poll commissioned by two liberal groups.

Kentucky voters said they would vote for Grimes over McConnell, 45-44 percent, and 11 percent said they were undecided, according to the poll.
McConnell, the Senate minority leader, had a net negative job approval rating in the poll: 51 percent said they disapproved of how the Republican was handling his job, 40 percent said they approved and 9 percent said they had no opinion.

In a smaller group of voters, 54 percent said they believe McConnell does not deserve reelection. Thirty-eight percent said they believe he does, and 8 percent said they were not sure.

The results did not include numbers for McConnell’s primary challenger, Matt Bevin, who recently joined the race.

All three candidates are set to speak at the annual Fancy Farm event in Kentucky on Saturday.

Your post leaves a lot to be desired. You are jumping through hoops which you apparently know nothing about. Michelle Obama's third gr. grandfather could have been a white slave owner who fathered a bi-racial child. But through the generations, they continued to marry blacks only. The DNA could be available with a simple swab of Michelle's cheek. She may have done this because she did suspect white ancestry.

Ancestry.com is one of the largest institutions in the world with ancestral history on all of us. Though they charge a fee for the records, you can go there, type in your ancestor's name and see what they have. They along with the National Archives in Washington have billions of records and paid researchers. However, when a person is famous, you can bet their genealogical history is done for them.....as is the case of M.O, and all presidents and first ladies.

If you are referring to me as having a chapped ass because the first lady has white ancestors. Why would anybody even care. I sure don't. Matters not, means nothing, only a thing of interest.

Now, how could that be? If BO has saved America from doom and gloom with his policies and his job creating skills...why the hell is there a record number of American citizens living at or below the poverty level on BO's nearly 5 year watch?

Are these new wonderful jobs created by BO like the shovel-ready jobs that Obama admitted weren't so shovel-ready after all? Are these new jobs created in districts of the United States that have NEVER EXISTED in the United States much like BO's job stimulus bill?

Democrats, Progressives and Socialist have long been known for never letting the truth stand in the way of their agenda and Nutsy Pelosi put the dems (the ones in power now) on the map when she created her own math system and submitted those fictitious numbers (dollar amounts) to the CBO concerning Obamacare. John Boehner calls for short-term CR

House Speaker John Boehner said Congress should pass a short-term government funding bill in September, but he still wants to finish the eight spending bills that the House hasn’t completed.
Congress has struggled to pass spending bills this year, so Boehner’s goal seems a bit lofty to say the least.

“It’s clear that we’re not going to have the appropriations bills finished by Sept. 30,” Boehner said Thursday morning.“I believe a continuing resolution for some short period of time would probably be in the nation’s interest. But having said that, the idea of operating for an entire year under a CR is not a good way to do business. And I’ve been working with [Appropriations Chairman Hal Rogers] to try to find a way to actually do all of these appropriations bills. I think it’s important for Congress to do its work.”

Most of the government has been operated under a CR since March, but the fiscal fights start anew next month. The government runs out of cash on Sept. 30. Congress leaves town Friday until Sept. 9.

The Republican Party is now paralyzed

Refusing to even consider the president's proposal yesterday shows they can't even help their own constituents now

There was a time, about two summers ago, when Republicans in Congress opposed the president for a reason. The reason wasn’t exactly an honorable or stirring one, but at least it had a logic to it. The thinking, reportedly articulated by Paul Ryan among others, went a little something like this: Any grand bargain, no matter how tilted to the right wing, would only help Obama win reelection. But all-out intransigence, when paired with a weak economy and looming debt, would make Obama look ineffectual, weak, and in over his head. And that was the way back to 1600 Penn.
But then Mitt Romney happened, and we all know how that went.

Cut to yesterday, more than two years later, and depressingly little has changed. There Obama stands; still president, still trying, and still finding no serious partner with whom to bargain. But whereas the original grand bargain was truly sweeping in its ambitions, trading (too few) tax hikes for (too many) cuts to social insurance programs like Medicare and Social Security, this latest iteration of what some have called the president’s white whale is far more modest. And yet Republican resistance is, if anything, even firmer.

This time around, Obama is essentially asking to trade a cut to corporate tax rates in exchange for greater investment in jobs programs and public infrastructure. It’s a perfectly sensible deal, too, one in which each side gets something they’ve long wanted, and each side gives the other something they’d, in a perfect world, probably rather not. Needless to say, Republicans hate it.

Yet even Douthat’s definition of a faction may not fit, because what could be a more highly prized “constituent service” for the GOP than lowering corporate taxes? No, it wasn’t the farm bill that showed Republicans as irrevocably oppositional. It wasn’t even immigration reform, where promises of benefits to Republicans are often airy and abstract and thus justifiably dismissed. It’s wasn’t either of these high-profile legislative fails, but the damned grand bargain — yet again — that made clear the mess of U.S. government.

That's the Grand OLD Party of NO and the teabagging Congress for you. hahahaha Really, re-inventing themselves eh? [email protected]
