2 BLACK DEMS BECOME REPUBLICANS
Star Parker[A Black Lady] tells of Louisianans rejecting left-wing agenda for minority community
Anyone who doubts that the Republican Party can attract black voters need only look south to Louisiana.
At a conference held in Baton Rouge at the end of May, called @Large and aimed to attract black conservatives, a black Democratic member of the Louisiana Legislature, Elbert Guillary, announced that he was switching parties and becoming a Republican.
Less than two weeks later, just up the road in Central City, La., black Democrat city Councilman Ralph Washington, who attended this same @Large conference, made the same announcement – he’s becoming a Republican.
It’s really not such a mystery. The mystery is why this is not happening more often.

Excellent news Star!!! I have always been puzzled why so many Christians who are black support the democrat party. It is an undeniable truth that the democrat party is directly responsible for the brutal killing of 55 million American babies by abortionists since 1973. This includes 16.5 million American black babies. I think that at the time of judgment, any unrepentant person who ever voted for democrats since 1973 will be judged harshly by the Lord of the universe.
Most Black people believe in God ...
That was raised RIGHT that is!
HAHAHA, that is hilarious A Loon, is that all you could find on your favorite right wingednutdrama.com . Must of been the pizza man inspiration eh? haha Oh I bet Hillary would be worried. But, then again, that shit you repukes sling about immigration reform is all about making 11 million immigrants into Dems, you better get your two parties to re-inventing because you will have a lot of catching up to do. hahaha

Lose two Dems and gain 11 million....PRICELESS.

lmao at your silliness. I think you need to go take your meds and try to get some rest. Your baaaaaing goat girl needs you. Still got her locked up in the barn? lol

Me too. He should change parties. He would make a great VP and he could stick it to his fellow parties traitors for shunning him over Sandy Relief gratitude and worrying about his people he represents and their well being, rather than the warped GRAND OLD PARTY of NO and their teabagging Congressman hate for the PRESIDENT. He sure has been hanging out with the Clintons and more Dems these days. I say Come on over to LIGHT Chris. lol

Tea Party's Idea of Joke: "Shoot" Senator Who Supports Immigration

Right-wing extremists see no need to dial back violent rhetoric.

In a Tea Party-sponsored conference call held on Wednesday night, a participant called for the assassination of Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) over her support for immigration reform. Prominent conservative policymakers Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL)’s communications director Stephen Miller and Heritage Foundation research fellow Robert Rector also joined the call, hosted by the conservative Eagle Forum group.

The most jarring and unexpected moment of the night was when the moderator opened up the phone lines to callers:

BOB FROM MAINE: I’m from Maine and our Tea Party will be meeting up next week. What is the best way that we can get our senator to listen to us?

ANOTHER CALLER: Shoot her.[laughter]

MODERATOR: Yes, we will shoot her with…(inaudible) and phone calls.

After the anonymous statement was made, no one on the call voiced their opposition. Instead, the threat was met with laughter and “oohs.”(At the time of the incident, Sessions’ communications director had apparently left the call.) Calling for the assassination of a senator is a federal crime punishable by five years of jail and may require a Secret Service investigation.

Collins was the sole Republican to co-sponsor Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT)’s withdrawn amendment that would allow bi-national, same sex couples to petition for immigrant visas for their significant others.

Despite the “joking” nature of the caller, this is not the first time that Tea Partiers have made explicit threats toward government officials. A Tea Partier once threatened a state senator for supporting a bill he believed would lead to government seizure of land, and famed Tea Partier Glenn Beck also called for the use of Special Ops to incite a revolution.

Study: "Spiritual" People More Likely to Commit Crimes than Atheists
Atheists also less likely to be mentally troubled, suffer anxiety and have phobias.

June 13, 2013
Young people who consider themselves “spiritual but not religious” are more likely to commit property crimes than those who identify as just “religious” or “spiritual and religious,” according to one study from Baylor University, a Baptist institution.

Researchers surveyed participants to see how often they had committed crimes in the previous 12 months, and found that loosey-goosey spiritual types (just kidding! you’re great!) were more likely to commit vandalism, theft and burglary than religious people; the study also found that agnostics and atheists were less likely than spiritual people to commit such crimes.
“Calling oneself ‘spiritual but not religious’ turned out to more of an antisocial characteristic, unlike identifying oneself as religious,” said Baylor researcher Aaron Franzen, a doctoral candidate and study co-author.

It is a hard time to be spiritual, scientifically speaking: researchers from University College London recently found that that this group is more prone to “anxiety disorders, phobias and neuroses” than atheists, agnostics and religious people.

There Have Been 14 Mass Shootings In The Six Months Since Newtown

The U.S. has averaged over one mass shooting per month for the past four years. In the six months after the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, CT, this trend has not relented. ThinkProgress analyzed all gun violence since December 14, 2012 and determined that there have been about 14 mass shootings.

These shootings tell a story that is now all-too-familiar to Americans. The gunman usually started by killing his family or significant other. Often, he had a history of anger or depression. And many of these killers should have been disqualified from buying a gun, whether because of their age, a criminal record, restraining order, or hospitalization.

Mass shootings, which ThinkProgress defined for this purpose as random gun-related incidents, usually in a public area and resulting in either multiple injuries or death, are still only a fraction of the gun violence that plagues Americans all over the country every day. On May 31, the number of people killed by guns since Newtown surpassed the number of American troops killed during the entire Iraq War. As of today, an average of 28 people have been shot to death every day since Newtown.

The 14 shootings since Newtown killed a total of 45 people, not including the perpetrators. Each death has transformed the lives of countless others who knew and loved the victims.

Besides the shootings mapped above, there were several incidents this year that came close to turning into bloodbaths but were thankfully averted. In March, a Florida college student pulled a dorm fire alarm to bring students out into the hallway so he could slaughter them with his arsenal of guns and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. He ultimately decided to kill himself instead. At Chelsea Middle School in Alabama, a crazed former employee took several middle school girls hostage in the locker room at gunpoint. Thankfully, he was apprehended before he could hurt anyone, preventing Chelsea from becoming the next Sandy Hook.

Obama scandals involving IRS, DOJ, EPA and NSA amount to a constitutional crisis

A constitutional crisis

Continuing, the president sought to mock critics, which is what he always does, by saying, "You can shout Big Brother or program run amok, but if you actually look at the details, I think we've struck the right balance."

Well, we are examining the "details," Mr. President, as they continue to roll out, and let me tell you something: We've already got 'some problems here'. If the "right balance" of government action vs. constitutional restraint for you is blatant, serial violations of the Bill of Rights, I'd call that a problem. A big problem

Since Obama won reelection last fall, Americans have witnessed one scandal after another unfold: Benghazi; IRS targeting of conservative/Tea Party groups; Justice Department targeting of the phone records of reporters; the NSA's covert data-mining of electronic data on millions of Americans. And let's not forget the botched "Fast and Furious" gun-walking operation; Obama's order to the Justice Department to stop defending the Defense of Marriage Act, a constitutionally passed law; and his department's refusal to pursue federal voting act violations against the Black Panthers, who intimidated white voters outside a polling station in Philadelphia in 2008.
