Facts about the needy:

Louisville
The Wayside Mission on Broadway, once the Holiday Inn caters to the needy and homeless. All recipients are given private two bed rooms with private baths, telephone and tv. If you stay there for a while, it will cost you $1 per month and all meals included.

You dined and are served (no washing dishes or cooking or cleaning is required)in the ballroom with sterling silver, china with steaks/beef/ham/ etc. Some meat is donated but one side of beef was paid $25,000. for when it was auctioned and donated to the Mission. Does anyone realize what $25,000 would actually by. We have cows and they only sell $600. each. Just invisilize this $25,000 for one side of beef.

This is not a mission house, this is a glorified hotel for people who come there regardless of their need. Check into it, you will be very surprise on how it is ran and what you find out.

They feed breakfast and dinner daily to the needy.

I believe in helping but not to the point where you are working and sometimes long hours and the one you are helping who donot work live better than you do.

So much for the hungry ratio in KY. Maybe in the mountains where the gov. seldom pay any attention to but not in the inner cities. This is fraudulent reporting on the poor, they get food stamps, section 8, free healthcare, free lunches and schooling, free Christmas presents, etc. They know a deal when they are getting it, who would want to get a job.

My niece is one of the recipients.

Barack Obama Is Too Arrogant To Lead In Times Of Tragedy
...
America’s president—no matter who he happens to be—is known as the “leader of the free world.” This has been the case since America emerged from World War II as an acknowledged global superpower. However, as anyone who has ever served in the military, worked in an organization, or played sports knows, there is a big difference between a person being in a leadership position and that person being a leader. A leader is someone who, by his example, rallies others behind a common cause. Good leaders have a vision for making things better and they are able to bring people together to achieve the vision.
To bring people together after a tragedy and give them hope, leaders must have credibility. They earn credibility by showing the victims of tragedy that they care about them. One of the ways good leaders earn credibility is by subjecting themselves to the same types of circumstances and challenges their followers face. They roll up their sleeves and pitch in to help. In other words, they lead from the front by their actions rather than just standing back and making speeches. Only in this way can they earn credibility with and develop empathy for those they are trying to lead. Credibility and empathy are essential leadership characteristics during times of tragedy. This is what is meant by leaders feeling the pain of their constituents, something Presidents Reagan, Bush (G.W.), and even Clinton understood, even if Clinton’s sincerity was suspect. People who were suffering responded to these presidents because they felt their empathy and believed they were sincere.

Obama Gives Biden, Congress a Raise
Friday, 28 Dec 2012

As the nation nears the fiscal cliff, President Barack Obama has ended the pay freeze on federal employees — giving workers, ranging from Vice President Joe Biden to members of Congress and the Supreme Court, a raise.

Obama signed the executive order on Thursday, The Weekly Standard reports. The increases take effect in late March.“The pay raise will generally be about 1/2 of 1 percent," the order says.

Under the new guidelines, for instance, Biden’s salary will jump from $225,521 last year to $231,900 next year.

Members of Congress, from the House and Senate, also will receive a slight raise — from $174,000 to 174,900.

And the majority and minority leaders in both chambers will see their salaries rise to $194.400.

The salary for the Speaker of the House, currently the Ohio Republican John Boehner, will increase to $224,600.

In addition, the pay for the members of the U.S. Supreme Court also will rise, with Chief Justice John Roberts receiving $223,500, and associate justices being paid $213,900.

Circuit judges, district judges and those of the U.S. Court of International Trade in New York also will see slightly higher pay, The Standard reports.

D.C. is soooooooofar out of touch (read Obama and Company); if they had a game of touch football...they would show up hockey sticks and Obama would be wearing one rubber glove and carrying and economy size jar of vasoline! Biden would show up to cheerlead; with his thumb up his @$$, and a foot in his mouth!
