Ask any older person if you don't have anyone, can you survive on SS today?
BASTARDS...
WASHINGTON (AP)- House Republicans put forth a $2.2 trillion "fiscal cliff" counteroffer to President Barack Obama on Monday, calling for raising the eligibility age for Medicare, lowering cost-of-living hikes for Social Security benefits and bringing in $800 billion in higher tax revenue - but not raising rates for the wealthy.

Notice it says: "HOUSE REPUBLICANS put forth a $2.2 trillion "fiscal cliff" counteroffer".
That N***r Kenyan you guys been hating on so much is the one who has been fighting against this sort of BS. But never mind, we can find some way to defend republican leaders on this.

Republican leaders didn't agree to go along with cuts. They are the very people that made the proposal!

I'm not defending anyone. I'm telling they're all corrupt. Both parties ...why don't they cut their own benefits? Why old, poor and disabled? They have a lot more to give.

Not trying to side with the repubs but is there really any other choice? SS was not intended to be a retirement plan, yet it is, it is not sustainable under the current fiscal structure. Now it is in extreme risk of collapsing along with everything else. If we don't have the money and printing more and more and spending it faster and fast only aggravites economic instability, and we are on the edge of multiple cliffs, not just an economic one, what other choice is there? As painful as it is, the American people did this to themselves, to their elderly, to their children, the American people have no one to blame but themselves. The dems blaming Bush is nothing less than mental immaturity. The repubs not standing up to the massive spending that killed our economic infrastructure makes them accomplices.
I get it KYMI; So what do you have to do, but live with your kids after working for 30 or 40 yrs? What if you don't have anyone?
SS was there but our greedy politicians robbed the 'SS fund'.

Do you hear anything from our politicians for not supporting ILLEGALS, or NOT promoting food stamps in Mexico, or paying for health care for illegals, or having anchor babies in US...

We would have planty of money for our people if it wasn't for illegals! People are really getting frustrated and p.off with both parties.

Republicans are bunch of chickens, affraid to stand up to Obama ...

Do you know how much illegals pay less for colleges that American kids? Why is that?

There is no more Democrats or Republicans ...
What's left from America is CORRUPTION ...

This is Federal Law:

8 U.S.C. 1373—This is the federal law, enacted in 1996, that prohibits states and localities from enacting or adopting so-called sanctuary policies that prohibit state or local officials from communicating with Federal officials regarding the legal status of individuals with whom they come into contact while performing their official duties. It also requires federal immigration authorities to respond to all inquiries by state and local officials about the immigration status of individuals. This section is the reason that the Law Enforcement Support Center (LESC) was created—so that ICE officials would be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to verify the immigration status of individuals at the request of state and local law enforcement officials for a duly authorized purpose.

This was a publication from ...
**********

Numbers USA
1601 N. Kent Street
Suite 1100
Arlington, VA 22209

The monetary figures might be more since there are more illegals in the US today. These figures are two years old.
**********

" Each year, states and localities spend about $84 billion on services for illegal aliens. Clearly, this is an unwise way to spend taxpayer dollars when so many states are having trouble making ends meet. However, 11 states already require the use of the federal SAVE system to verify benefit applicants to ensure they are in this country legally, and therefore entitled to receive public assistance.

To prove my point about illegal aliens costing states billions of dollars each year, I've listed what illegal aliens cost each state:"

Alabama:$298,000,000
Alaska:$139,000,000
Arizona:$2,569,000,000
Arkansas:$244,000,000
California:$21,756,000,000
Colorado:$1,451,000,000
Connecticut:$957,000,000
Delaware:$305,000,000
Florida:$5,463,000,000
Georgia:$2,399,000,000
Hawaii:$155,000,000
Idaho:$188,000,000
Illinois:$4,592,000,000
Indiana:$608,000,000
Iowa:$350,000,000
Kansas:$442,000,000
Kentucky:$280,000,000
Louisiana:$224,000,000
Maine:$41,000,000
Maryland:$1,724,000,000
Massachusetts:$1,862,000,000
Michigan:$929,000,000
Minnesota:$744,000,000
Mississippi:$106,000,000
Missouri:$338,000,000
Montana:$32,000,000
Nebraska:$262,000,000
Nevada:$1,191,000,000
New Hampshire:$123,000,000
New Jersey:$3,478,000,000
New Mexico:$608,000,000
New York:$9,479,000,000
North Carolina:$2,063,000,000
North Dakota:$32,000,000
Ohio:$563,000,000
Oklahoma:$465,000,000
Oregon:$705,000,000
Pennsylvania:$1,378,000,000
Rhode Island:$278,000,000
South Carolina:$391,000,000
South Dakota:$33,000,000
Tennessee:$547,000,000
Texas:$8,878,000,000
Utah:$453,000,000
Vermont:$38,000,000
Virginia:$1,905,000,000
Washington:$1,510,000,000
West Virginia:$31,000,000
Wisconsin:$883,000,000
Wyoming:$51,000,000

All told, illegal aliens cost states and localities around $85 billion dollars each year. As you can see from the list above, all states suffer from this malady. However, a great way to cut down on this amount is to prevent illegal aliens from receiving public benefits. Already, 11 states use the federal SAVE system to prevent illegal aliens from receiving state welfare benefits such as food stamps.

Please ask your state legislator to pass legislation that would require benefit applicants to be run through the SAVE system so that illegal aliens cannot receive services meant for American citizens. Giving welfare benefits to illegal aliens only encourages these individuals to stay in the United States and even encourages more people to come here illegally.

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS THE TRUTH

“Eyes blinded by the fog of things
cannot see truth.
Ears deafened by the din of things
cannot hear truth.
Brains bewildered by the whirl of things
cannot think truth.
Hearts deadened by the weight of things
cannot feel truth.
Throats choked by the dust of things
cannot speak truth.”

Disputes your argument by quoting the president and it spells out what has already been done. So before you start getting to deep into the lies and mistruth then maybe you should do a little research first before putting the blame on Republicans that control only one branch of Govt. out of 3.

Also I've asked this question before and I still haven't gotten any answers from the left (WTF you don't count as intelligence). But what are you expecting over the next 4 years? And what if the economy doesn't improve or worse yet the unemployment numbers go down further and our economy is still in a recession? Will Bush still be the blame? Will it be Obamas economy? Would you vote for Hillary in 2016? I'm just curious as to what your opinion is on where we are or where we are heading.

When the job lost gets back to the 726,000 per month like in 2008 we Democrats will blame Obama. We do currently blame Obama for the 37 straight months of job growth. Took 10 years and a World War to overcome the 1929 Depression. What part of that do you Repubs have trouble with understanding?
