I see they are still arguing about the birth certificate issues - still don't believe Obama is a "natural born" citizen. Nobody disputes that he is a citizen. But that don't qualify for the presidency. We've been down that road, and still we have people saying he "can not be legitimately president."

Condoleezza Rice: But I don’t remember the al‐Qaida cells as being something that we were told we needed to do something about.
Richard Ben-Veniste: Isn't it a fact, Dr. Rice, that the August 6 PDB [Presidential Daily Briefing] warned against possible attacks in this country? And I ask you whether you recall the title of that PDB?
Condoleezza Rice: I believe the title was, Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the United States.

Condoleezza Rice,a speech in March of 2000."WE NEED A COMMON ENEMY TO UNITE US."

"Rice Defends Enhanced Interrogations,
The United States government does not authorise or condone torture of detainees. Torture, and conspiracy to commit torture, are crimes under US law, wherever they may occur in the world.
Asked whether waterboarding is torture, Rice replied emphatically: "We were told, nothing that violates our obligations under the Convention Against Torture. And so, by definition, if it was authorized by the president.

Hi Condoleezza, how are you? You've forgotten about me, my little girl.

I know AL...all the time I've been on here it was through the Murray, Ky forum. Now it's in the Hyden forum, and I suspect many other places. She was on the Jackson forum, so she thinks she knows it all. The location of the poster is not always the place that person lives. There is a way to change that on here and some people have done that. So it's not as authentic as it appears.

This is great! LMAO! My husband and I took off today and through some really neat antique shops and boutiques in some small towns near by and then went to a state park and toured a sanctuary of all the wild life which inhabits areas of Florida. It was really interesting. Got on late tonight and had to throw out several responses on the other thread!

22 Statistics That Prove That The American Dream Is Being Systematically Destroyed
The American Dream is being systematically destroyed right in front of our eyes and most Americans don't even realize what is happening. In the old days, if you were a hard worker and you played by the rules you could always find a good job. That good job would enable you to buy a house, buy at least one car and support a family. It would also enable you to take a couple of vacations each year and buy some nice things for your family.
After working for 30 or 40 years you would look forward to a comfortable retirement. But these days fewer and fewer Americans are able to enjoy the American Dream.
Once upon a time, the United States had the largest and most prosperous middle class in the history of the world, but now that is changing at a breathtaking pace.
Our economy is not producing nearly enough jobs for all of us anymore, and an increasing percentage of the jobs that are being produced pay 10 dollars an hour or less. The cost of living continues to rise steadily every single year while wages do not. Close to half of all American workers are living month to month, and many American families have gone deep into debt as they struggle to pay the bills.
Millions more Americans are falling into poverty each year and dependence on the government is at an all-time high. Something is fundamentally wrong with our economy. It is not working the way that it used to, and the middle class is being absolutely shredded. Most American families are finding it harder and harder to make it through each passing year, and unless a miracle happens things are going to continue to get even harder.

And you wonder why people call rednecks STUPID.
Conservative Gun Owners Confused After Obama Hasn’t Done Anything To Take Away Guns
BUSHYHEAD, OK — It seems that after four years of being utterly paranoid that President Obama is going to take their guns away, several conservatives are left dumbfounded.
That there NRA told me, with utter confidence that Mr. Obama was gonna take away my guns,” said Jarvis Flinkermill in an interview with Free Wood Post this past Monday afternoon.“I said to myself, I said oh no he’s not! I’ve got my second amendment right to bear arms and no president is ever gonna take that away from me. So I went out to the local sporting goods shop and bought myself a whole bunker worth of guns and ammo. I spent upwards of around $15,000 on my stockpile, and that’s just in the past year. Here’s the thing though, President Obama hasn’t touched my guns, and all the shops is still open. However, I just got another letter from the NRA tellin’ me that Mr. Obama is gonna take my guns in his second term. I just don’t know though, but I’m not takin’ any chances. I’m cutting back on food and clothes for my kids to buy more guns and ammo. The NRA are smart folks, they always be tellin’ me what that Muslim president has up his sleeve.”
Free Wood Post had the opportunity to speak to a local sporting shop in the area, Bushyhead Sports Galore. Owner Hank Kilden said,“Sales are better than ever with Mr. Obama in office. Everyone is terrified that he’s going to take away their guns, so everybody’s been stocking up. I’ve really got to thank the National Rifle Association for getting the word out, they’ve been fantastic for business.” When asked if the president has actually tried to shut down his shop, or try to regulate ownership Kilden replied,“Gosh no, in fact now we can take our guns into public parks. It’s almost as if he’s given us more rights to probably take away later.” When asked if he thinks the NRA is just scaring people on purpose to push gun sales Kilden responded,“The NRA? Nah, they’re good folks over there. They’re just trying to protect us. I’m sure one day or other the president is gonna come close up shop. I’m a little surprised and confused he hasn’t already… but if the NRA says he’s gonna… then he’s gonna.
This seemed to be the general consensus of all the patrons at Bushyhead Sports Galore. They’re confused President Obama has given them more rights, and not taken any away. However, they have been told by multiple sources (Fox News, NRA, Family Research Counsil, etc.) that Obama is waiting for his second term. In the mean time gun sales are at a record high. It seems for the sporting community, paranoia pays off.
Like a Rainbow In The Dark!
Your ignorance comes shining through, SCOTUS (Supreme Court of The United States) handed down a historic decision which destroyed the Washington, D.C. gun Ban! The Republican Party (read MAJORITY) in the United States House of Representatives is the other half of the equation. Obama simply paid lip service to these defenders of the 2nd amendment. You are another brain-dead-Obama-ZOMBIE...stum bling through life...in the darkness of your own IGNORANCE!

Oh, the joy of guns.

By Elizabeth Chuck, NBC News

A Florida gun collector has pleaded not guilty to a murder charge alleging that he opened fire on a car full of unarmed teenagers, killing one, in an altercation that police say stemmed from loud music.
Michael David Dunn, 45, acted "as any responsible firearms owner would have," his lawyer said of the Friday evening incident at a gas station outside a convenience store in Jacksonville, Fla.
Dunn and his girlfriend were in Jacksonville for his son's wedding when they pulled up in their car next to the teens. Police allege that while the girlfriend was in the store, Dunn told Jordan Russell Davis, 17, and his three friends to turn down their music.
"It was loud," Jacksonville homicide Lt. Rob Schoonover said of the teens' music. "They admitted that. That's not a reason for someone to open fire."

After an exchange of words, Dunn began shooting with a handgun, Schoonover said.
"Nobody else in that vehicle was struck; it was just our victim [Davis], which was lucky because the vehicle was shot eight or nine times," Schoonover said.
Davis was in the back seat and was struck twice, reported The Orlando Sentinel.
Dunn and his girlfriend drove off and spent the night at their hotel, according to Schoonover, but witnesses took down his license plate number. Police arrested him Saturday morning at his home in Satellite Beach, Fla., on one charge of murder and three charges of attempted murder.
"His side of the story is he felt threatened and that is the reason he took action," Schoonover said.

On Monday, Dunn — a gun collector who shot at local gun ranges, according to authorities — pleaded not guilty in Brevard County court, with his attorney describing his actions as self-defense.
