On Respecting Muslim Culture
By Jim Yardley

For at least the past decade, and perhaps longer, the nations of the West have treated jihadists and radical Islamists (which groups count for many more Muslims than most Americans care to admit) with an inordinate level of respect so as not to "offend" them.
The first thing that should be considered is that no one is entitled to "respect." "Respect" must be earned, just as "trust" must be earned. One might argue that "courtesy" can be demanded, but to demand "respect" and "trust" is insulting to those from whom the fulfillment of the demand is required.

It's time and past(!!!) to operate under the same rules of engagement as the Islamic fanatics that we are coping with, and responding to their aggression with overwhelming force, and without the illogical and asymmetrical rules of engagement forced on our troops by the White House and the Pentagon.!!!!

Labor goons and assorted socialists set to meet with Obama today
Carrie Budoff Brown is reporting that a White House official has confirmed Politico's list of CEOs scheduled to attend a meeting Wednesday with Barack Obama on the fiscal cliff, and sent over the list of union and progressive leaders who will sit down with him Tuesday:
Mary Kay Henry, SEIU
Lee Saunders, AFSCME
Dennis Van Roekel, NEA
Rich Trumka, AFL-CIO
Neera Tanden, Center for American Progress
John Podesta, Center for American Progress
Bob Greenstein, Center for Budget and Policy Priorities
Laura Burton Capps, Common Purpose Project
Max Richtman, National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare
Justin Ruben, MoveOn
Deepak Bhargava, Center for Community Change
This list hits many of the major unions and progressive organizations that are urging Obama to hold firm on his commitment to end tax cuts for wealthier families and to protect major entitlement programs.

Welcome to the New America, land of the socialist, welfare entitlement states. Where we rob and punish the successful and wealthy, to give to the poor and lazy.
Half of those on food stamps are just looking for a free ride and President Obama is just the man to give it to them.
Where are the jobs, where is the growth and prosperity, where is the hope, that was promised to use four years ago.
The only thing growing is the number of out of work Americans with their hands out and the inflation rate.
I do not want to live in a communist state on welfare.
The only entitlement I want is a good job. I want to live in America the land of the free, where all you need is the will and the drive to become successful.
Shove the entitlement, we need jobs!
Oh, I forgot, Hussein is President. No hope, no change.
Taxes for the past 10 years have been at an ALL TIME HISTORIC LOW!!!!!!!!!! How can you Repubs just keep on with the taxing the rich shit talking point?????????? The Rich are doing just great. In the past 20 years there incomes have increased 387%. Middle class 18%.

See if you Repubs can comprehend this: In 2010, as the nation continued to recover from the recession, a dizzying 93 percent of the additional income created in the country that year, compared to 2009 $288 billion went to the top 1 percent of taxpayers, those with at least $352,000 in income. That delivered an average single-year pay increase of 11.6 percent to each of these households.

.

Do you understand this? Of all the NEW income created in America,,, 93% of it went to the top 1%. The Top 20% in America receives 80% of ALL income that there is EACH year.

If those greedy self serving rich Americans had any decency about themselves they would give even more of their wealth to cities like San Francisco so they can pay for sex change operations, and more to Planned Parenthood so they can kill millions more babies, and more to Acorn so they could have more voter fraud, those selfish wealthy slobs!

Those evil money makers won't give everything they have to our anti-Constitutional administration, they want to keep their money, they don't want to support massive military cuts, fiscal cliffs and 100% fiscal incompetence, providing our enemies (muslim brotherhood) with funding and weapons, cover ups, mocking Christianity, attacking gun ownership - which is granted under the Constitution! In fact, I think we libotards should blame it all on Bush.

Here is our 'leader', in his own words. How proud we are!

They achieved the american dream by middle class workers investing in their products. They achieved their millions from workers making low wages without insurance for the most part. They could not have achieved their dream had it not been for the working poor. That said, they should pay their fair share of taxes.

Yeah, don't you repubs understand this? We want everything so we don't have to work for it? Don't you selfish repubs realize that more than 50% of us in this country don't work and need you to give more, we don't care if you have to layoff more people, just give us more, it is like a drug to us, if you don't give it to us we will just elect a marxist dictator that doesn't care about the constitution or Christianity and HE WILL TAKE IT FROM YOU! There, how do you like that you evil repubs, our blamer-in-chief will TAKE IT FROM YOU! Even it is means going over the fiscal cliff and laying off millions of hard working people, WE DON"T CARE! Conservatives give more money to charity, studies show. This makes some sense; liberals believe in sharing wealth already and advocate policies reflecting that while conservatives advocate smaller government and greater individual initiative.

I used to work for COX enterprise, multi (B)illion
$$$ corporation ...and years ago they closed their business across America because they couldn't afford all the expenses. CA is in very bad shape. So, was it better to keep taxes down and people have jobs, or increase taxes and force companies out of business? When you have jobs, people pay INCOME TAX...what is wrong with people ...?????

In CA 37% have jobs and about 17% pay taxes...

NO JOBS - NO INCOME TAX- WHAT IS LEFT, increase in taxes...utilities...property taxes...sales tax...every tax in the book...

CALIFORNIA - DEMOCRATIC LEGISLATORS ---MAYOR ...GOVERNOR ...STATE SENATE...

If you elect Democrats in your states, you will become CALIFORNIA ...

CALIFORNIA IS - VERY SAID TO SAY ...GONE !!!!!
