Did Lay school let a pre-school child walk out of the building and onto the street last year?

No that was not how it was. The child ran from the teachers while coming back into the building from the playground and they caught him around the side of building on sidewalk. He was never in danger or in the road just tried to run.

That must be a different incident. There was a case where the teacher didn't even know the kid was missing from the class. I'd say the school tried to keep that one a secret.

And you know this how? Were you there? This is probably made up because you got mad at the teacher over something. That's what most of these kind of posts are.,

The teachers are great , its the principal is the one that needs someone to kick his butt in gear...I had a problem with some students bullying my child ,I went to talk to him about it and he acted like he was spaced out ...I was telling him what had happened and he was nodding his head like he understood but he was in space somewhere he didn't even ask me the kids names that were picking on my child, he didn't ask me anything ...he never write anything down to remember the class ,the kids names nothing ...I had called the teacher the next day to c if he had taken care of the situation ,she h nothing ,the kids were doing the same thing they had being doing ..the teacher had to handle it ..the bulling has slowed down enough to where my child is not afraid anymore..my child is in kindergarten. I have no grudge against the principal, he didn't seem like his mind was on his job..I know he has a lot of kids to take care of ,but when he became principal that job is what he took on...IT IS HIS JOB

I would like to know more... I also have a Kindergartener that's been telling me little things. Which teacher does yours have? You can put an initial only if you want. Thanks!:)

I'd like to know, too. I have a child who will be going to kindergarten next year. I may be rethinking sending him there.
