My story is on a man who lost everything and asked a town and Churches for help. Since I have started my investigation, I have found there are alot of good town people. Who will help out a person in need, but others talk about you as a lowlife without giving that person a chance to know who they are. My article will be in over 5 million copies of our newspaper.

I am that man holding that sign, I am not a con artist. You Judge me but dont know me, and I have been offered work. Sad thing is when I am told that they will come back and get me and they Dont. And instead of posting stuff on here come talk to me. I would like to thank the person bringing this to me. Judge not and ye not be judge before our Lord.
here is some news for you hobo, everyone will be judged, when you quote the bible you may want to consider what it says about adding and taking away words in Revelation

i dont think "will work" is the guy with the sign postin on here.
it's probably that same joker who was posting here a couple of years ago as a fake producer about some movie or show that was gonna be made here in town and about 99% of the suckers that post here regularly took it hook, line an sinker, asking to audition for roles an what knot.
this guy posting is the same dude tryin to pull the same shit on these dim-wits again...as he's done before.
it's all just another bs topix stunt.

Sorry not the same guy, I am doing a story on your town. In the next few days I will be doing interviews. First will be with the Ministers in your town. Then I will be moving onto the members of this town.

I live on a homestead and have a little cabin that I rent out for less than fair market value to anybody willing to help with the many chores on the homestead. Their help makes up for the difference in the discounted rent. In the 15 years since I acquired the cabin, I have never made a profit on renting it out. Unfortunately, more often than not, people have taken advantage and not held up their end of the bargain, thus leaving the chores undone and benefiting from the less expensive rent. Needless to say, they are asked to leave and I try again and again to find someone who is true to their word. After all, a person is only as good as their word. The other saying that comes to mind is "no good deed goes unpunished". That being said, it's becoming increasingly difficult to help those in need when their sincerity is questionable.

Really we dont know what most peoples main agenda is. We can't tell who are the ones trying to use others for their benefit. But what about those who are struggling and can't make ends meet. When they reach out to ask for help, they are turned away. Instead of reaching out to help, they are ridiculed and judged. Instead of Judging, lets take the time to get to know that person. Unless you know their story, you are no better than anyone else.

As I had posted in a previous comment, I have never denied anybody help. I've never walked past anybody holding a sign asking for help. I, however will not hand out money. I have bought lunch, groceries, and have even given clothing to people in need. I don't judge these people. I put myself in their shoes because in this day and age nobody knows what their future holds. In the back of my mind, I may sometimes have a bit of doubt as to the person's actual need for help. I'm sure I'm not alone in my doubt. As someone who has repeatedly been taken advantage of, I think I have a right to have some doubt. At the same time, I don't believe that makes me judgmental, I think it makes me "cautious", and there's nothing wrong with that.

This is true as I myself have been taken vantage of. I also will buy food, clothing or even pay a bill. But what happens when someone in need is rejected help from the ones they go to.

We can only control our own thoughts, feelings and abilities. Nobody can be "forced" to lend a helping hand. It's got to come from the heart. If somebody "rejects" another's plea for help, it doesn't necessarily mean they don't care. It could be they don't have the means themselves to help.

So, you made false statements to begin with. And, now you are making threats to expose anyone who doesn't talk to you? Seriously passing along the wrong message to people Reverend.

Funny thing is I put my name out there, but you hide behind a false ├▒ame. You talk about a rocky road and not stumble. We all stumble, but how many times have you stumbled and fell. We are not all perfect, and we all stumble from time to time. The fact is most are afraid of the real truth coming out.

With all due respect to all who've posted here, I think things may be getting off track a bit. The only message that should matter is that we help each other when we can, and if we can't afford to help monetarily or with a tangible donation that we at least help with prayer and understanding. Thank you.

Yes things are getting out of hand, I agree with that. If we all just took the time to get to know people, instead of assuming and judging others. What gives anyone any right to pass judgment on anyone. If Ye without sin, may cast the first stone.

At the end of the day, we'll all be in the same boat, so to speak. When the end comes, it comes for everyone. God doesn't discriminate.

After reading some of these comments, I can now understand how all these scammers target southeast ky! If you can't tell by now that he is a con artist then you've got some learning to do.

Scams happen everywhere. Unfortunately, signs proclaiming "I'm a scammer, but I still want you to give me your money" don't appear...EVER. The problem with this country/world is that people don't want to work to earn what they need to survive. So, if somebody holds up a sign that says "will work for food, etc.", at least they're willing to earn their way. Then there are those who refuse to work on their "would you like fries with that" because they think "those types" of jobs are beneath them. We could go on forever, there are so many sides to the coin. The point being, you'll never know for sure who's a scammer and who's sincerely in need. Sometimes you just have to look inside yourself.

CJ, if you really are a reverend, then why do you lie so much? You had a job at Arby's and didn't hardly work many days out of the time you were employed. You supposed had all these problems with your personal life and health, then you all of sudden quit a job and start holding up a sign saying will work. I am not trying to judge you because you will be judged by the only one that matters. But my concern is why make up all these stories and then claim to be a reverend. If you truly are a reverend then it appears that you need to be asking for a lot of forgiveness. And you also are not setting a very good example for all the lost souls. Please tell us the name of newspaper that you are doing your story for. I am sure that a lot of us would like to investigate this for ourselves. Clint Johnson or CJ what ever it is that you like to be called, you may need to come back to reality or at least use one story and stick to it.
