http://bible.cc/luke/11-46.htm it is so true...the Bible speaks the truth....I made another topix post asking for someone to help me to find a lawyer and when i started to bed few minutes ago , I seen my Bible and it was in my heart to read it before I turn the lights out and when I open it and find a page this was the verse I seen Luke 11.46 Jesus replied, "And you experts in the law, woe to you, because you load people down with burdens they can hardly carry, and you yourselves will not lift one finger to help them.

Nothing wrong with Lawyer's, as long as they abide by the law themselves. And do things as they're suppose to.

I translate it to mean Law Makers, not Lawyers per se. Although there are probably some lawyers that do help make laws.

It probably refers to judges, not lawyers.
Judges have the most power in any judicial system. They levy the punishments, and in some cases make or break laws.
In early judicial systems, there were no lawyers only judges.
