I have really dry split ends, I started useing a flat-iron on my hair at least 3 days a week, it has caused so much damage to my hair, I was wondering if anyone knows of anything to try that would help, I keep getting it cut but of course it doesnt help bc I just cause more damage.

use that new stuff called Guardian Angel by the company Got2B it is sold at Wal-greens and it is the one that says it will protect up to 425 degrees. It is wonderful and I would recommend to anyone. The flat iron will hurt your hair but, this will protect. It is also at Rite-Aid and is very reasonable. Go to their website and they offer coupons. After using this and deep conditioning it should be back to good.

Get you some Redken Butter conditioner and follow directions on the bottle. It will revive your hair TRUST ME! Mine was in a mess and it saved mine! Then, always use some kind of flat iron spray before using one. Good luck!

Quit talking about yourself with your old nappy head!

To bad for natural LIMPY straight hair! With our hair at least we have the option of using a flat iron to make ours flat instead of having limpy hair to begin with! Cry me a river!!

i had the same problem..i use Pantene Ice Shine now and it seems to be workin great..just try to find good Conditioners that say "repairs split ends" or "for dry, damaged hair"..also, after you use the straightener, take some of your conditioner and rub it on your hands and fingers and kinda squoosh it in the ends of your hair..like, put small strands of your hair between your hands and press your hands together and go all the way down it, startin about half-way down the length of your hair...just dont use alot or it will make it look greasy..lol..

What's the best flat iron spray? I have tried a few but didn't really like them. Does aussie make one? I've looked but haven't found one from them yet. Aussie products are wonderful!!

My hair was burnt to a crisp falling off in the floor. I order a shampoo and hair restore called ojon from qvc. and u should see my hair now it's as soft and manageable. like when i was in school. u use the hair restore for dry damaged hair. leave on for 20 minitues, I leave my on all night. if u use this product u can see the difference in a week. it's make ur hair grow.

That isn't what I said. Straight hair is sexy! Hair that goes down past the waist or whatever is not.

I like my hair with some body to it, will this give it body or just cause it to be straight?

First off if you blow dry your hair use a paddle brush and point the blow dryer down. That will help prevent the fly aways and start the straighting process. Then use a flat iron spray before you flat iorn and flat iron only what you have to. Also spray some of the flat iron spray on your hands and run it throuh afterwards to get rid of any remaining flyaways. The best flat iron spray is at sally's beauty supply in london you do not have to have a licence either and it is called " beyond zone, turn up the heat"
