Any women out there that has considered shaving their head? I am seriously thinking about it, I don't know if I have the face for it or not, but I know there are alot of women who could pull this off, It would be so great to get up in the morning and put make up on and go on my way, what do you think of a woman with a shaved head?

I think women that shave there head are gays so if you shave your head then you know what men think so if you want a mans opinion then ther you go so if you are one of those weman want be a little boy cause thats what they look like they dont look like a man .

It's Not Personally My Style, But Some Women Do Pull It Off. However, It Would Be Smart To Remember That Unless You Are Lesbian Or Bisexual, It May Not Be A Good Look Considering That Most Men Will Associate Shaved With Masculinity. Either Way, Best Of Luck! <3

My sister has cancer and she has been losing her hair, this has been very traumatic for her....I told her that I am going to shave mine too, for support to show her that she can still be beautiful with or with out it. I just think you guys who are so critical and the one who is taking it so lightly (demi) should think about this, not everyone has a choice whether to have hair or not, and not everyone is a lesbian because they dont have it...and demi, maybe you should be thankful you have some, u could have cancer and lose it without doing it yourself.

I shaved all my hair off once, to the scalp not even burred. When i put on makeup, i got way more compliments then when I had very long hair, but inside I felt a loss of my femine side. I didn't feel sexy anymore but I think it just has to do with how strong you are of a person inside, and at that point in my life I was very weak. ....but my hair grew back out so healthy.

First of all, at no point am i bringing your sister into this, I don't want her or anyone else to have to go through what she has dealt with.
....but for you to come on this post and speak, in my opinion quit rude to (Demi) about the decision to shave or not to shave her head is not very nice. When you said yourself you were thinking about shaving your own hair for your sister. Don't you think that if more women were like (Demi) and wanted to shave your head and did, then people like your sister and myself when I was bald would have been more excepted as equal females. You should be happy for this thought.

I am not judging anyone.
I am a male. I would not find this attractive. Whatsoever.
Most men would not.
To each their own.

Wow, that is very thoughtful of you to shave your head for your sister.
Are you going to donate your hair to Locks of Love?

I had really long thick hair and was so fed up with it, and one night I got so drunk I got scissors and an electric razor and shaved it all off. I looked awful, big regret. Thankfully it grew back fast. I think if you feel comfortable then don't worry about what myself or anyone else says or thinks.

I know a lot of people who shave their head to support cancer patients. It's been all over the news and tv for years.

If you decide to shave your head, first put your hair back in a ponytail and cut off at the pony tail to donate your hair to locks of love or pantene. They both make wigs from human hair donations for cancer patients. Just imagine how you would make a cancer patient feel to have a human hair wig. I was recently one of those baldys from chemo treatment and my hair is coming back in beautifully. While bald it was wonderful to take a shower and rub a wash cloth over my head. You can get by with bald heads and big earrings. It is a fashion statement in some places. Go for it.

I Shaved my head just today and stumbled upon this when i was looking up Famous people with shaved heads, such as Demi moore, and Sinead O'Connor, And they are Quite Beatuiful (and Femimine) To IDK, You should be glad others are willing to shave their hair, without those people, Cancer wigs would never be made. Former Baldy Is Right. And im 14, So im pretty sure if a 14 year old can get a man to stare at her in a positive way (and believe me, i can) when shes bald, then you would do fine with no hair, Demi. Just remember to avoid looking like a man, wear feminine clothes!

To all of you women who want to shave, or are already bald, I have the utmost respect for you. I would love to be able to find a woman who would let me shave their head. I am very interested in all bald women. So ladies, don't let anyone discourage you from shaving your head if that is what you want. I, for one would love to see more with the bald head.

I came to this site for insight of how people may think of women shaving their head hair. I found some comments interesting, agreed with others, and then some I completely disagreed with. Pretty much how I figured it would go. I have to say though, those who think women shave their head because of sexuality --- gay/bi/lesbian, etc., I think are sadly somewhat skewed in thought. They are allowed their opinion. I've seen some of the most beautiful women with the longest hair who are the most lesbian of them all. Anyway, I say if you have thought about cutting your hair to near bald, or bald all together, GO FOT IT. After all, it's hair and it will grow back. I have sported short hair for over 15 years now. I haved tried to grow it out now and then, but just don't care to deal with all the fuss, work, hassel and aggravation of having long hair. I wore long, long, long hair most of my life. I don't know how/why I did it. Much to much work, and most of the time it's pulled back or on top of your head. I just nearly shaved my head a few days ago. MY REASON: I have been coloring my hair for years. I would like to see what my natural hair looks like, what the natural texture feels like, free of all chemicals and color. I know there's gray going on under there and I'd like to see that too. I may color it again, but I want to see it and feel it. I say, what an amazing experience of self. It's hair, it will grow back. Who knows, maybe even more beautiful. Fresh and natural. I am not gay. I am not a beautiful woman and may not necessarily look great hairless. Like most women, I have some self esteme issues. But I'm going to own my hairless head for the next few months. It's a very liberating feeling. My husband thinks I'm a little nuts now and then, but he loves me with or without hair. He says my inner beauty is what he married me for anyway :)

It has been my dream to have a barbers chair in my livingroom and to have someone who loved me cutting my hair. matter of fact tonight i shaved my head again for the first time in almost two years and i havent been happier. as a african american woman i have very long thick beautiful hair but i cant stand it! it never made me feel good taking hours to fix it so that wind sun or rain could ruin the style in 10 minutes! I LOVE MY BUZZ.It reflects me strong dominant and sexy..and yes I am straight! My family is going to be pissed my friends will have manly jokes for awhile but my man... when I find him he will be the one that knows he can wrap his hands arond my neck back or whereevre he chooses and yes even my soft fuzzy head! I know Im beautiful. its in my eyes lips hips and whats under my tightly clipped coif. I AM A BEAUTIFUL PERSON.

I am losing my hair to cancer treatment. I have tufts here and there, mixed with long strands. There isn't enough hair to put up, and it makes me feel bad. I am going to shave it this weekend. This is old so I hope Demi did shave her head. If women just naturally did it. It would b no big thing. And when ppl look at me they wont see me as a person w/ cancer.
