"Gets to where they can hire"??? They just hired my aunt and that makes 4 employees, from what I hear they have sold over 125 packages in 2 weeks and selling lotion for half off. People driving from Tenn. just to buy lotion and use the Mystic Spray Tanning unit my aunt said. Heard they bought out a Hollywood Tan's salon and have more beds arriving in 2 weeks. It's pretty awesome. Plus Margarita and slushy machine.
<quoted text>
That's great for them. I was only meaning since they are a new business they haven't had the opportunity to have employees take advantage of them. People are getting way too touchy and childish over a bunch of nonsence. Most everyone on here leaves comments with an alias, so there are no consequences in association with those comments. I, at least am a big enough person to leave my name and not be negative toward other people. There is nothing malicious about what I said. Thank you for your concern though.

The answer to this is definitely you Don't know who is posting what. Soooo, I made an account with MY OWN name and information and picture so that you all will stop this foolishness, at least when MY name is concerned. I have only posted ONE comment on these threads and have only done so in concern of things being said AS me or ABOUT my friends and family. It was only to defend myself and my friends\family. This entire thing is a waste of my time and would appreciate it if whoever is using my name would please cease and desist. It is beneath me to waste time gossiping about anyone or any business. There are laws in regard to slander and impersonation and any further action by the responsible party will result in a law suit. You are all entitled to your own opinions, however, please leave me out of it. IP addresses are recorded in Topix Forums.

Gee I'm scared. Whatever the circumstance, Stiffy owns the building and he DOES have a reputation...and not a good one. facts are facts people. Deal with it. And for the record...I see nothing that the "competition" or anyone else has to fear from this bunch. Reputations proceed people. I was merely stating an option to a question (which thank you for correcting me on the "who owns the business" part) and stating my opinion, which I am entitled to. You people act like you have nothing better to do than to sit here and try to make yourselves feel better by putting everyone else down. No wonder 20\20 eats up the chance to do specials about the people of Appalachia (and why the people here have such a reputation themselves for being ignorant). You act ignorant, therefore it makes the rest of the world think you are ignorant. Hmmmmmmmm. At least Paradise Tan's response was not all trying to be up-in-your-face childishness like Just Wondering's.
Well Excuse me!!! At least I'm not on here putting someone down to the dogs talking about how bad a reputation they have!! If it's that BAD theres no sense in you telling everyone they should already know!! Then after you find out this guy doesn't own the place you start on something else.
I have used Silver Screen since they first open and have nothing bad to say about the place or employs!! I don't think people should get on here putting a place of business down if you've never been there or have no idea what the H*LL your talking about tho.
Guess what we are all capable of choosing where we want to lay in the tanning bed at!!!
Good Luck To Both Places!!!

P.S It took me a little while to reply because I have a life and don't live on TOPIX!!

I am sorry that someone has stooped so low as to use your own name to reply to others on here. Now, at least, if you do reply to any comments made then we will know its from you and not some imposter.

#1. I work two jobs one during the AT SCHOOL. And therefore can not get online and constantly post stupid ignorant stuff on Topix.
#2. I am not the type of person that would sit here and put people down like this.
#3. I know ALL of these people and see them regularly and would not risk hurt feelings by saying anything about anyone. I am smarter than that.
#4. Again, I not the person posting this crap. The only ones I have posted have my name attached to them. Any questions feel free to some see me or ask.

Okay, so I went back and looked. I saw Ms. Bobbi Jackson AT WORK when these were posted. She was not on any computer. The school system does not allow their computers to even be able to get on topix. So this can't be her talking. Plus it doesn't sound like her at all. I have known her for years, all through high school. She wouldn't do this. I am sure it is just some yahoo trying to stir up more trouble in this little town...like that has NEVER happened before.

If I am not mistaken, there was some confusion about what Paradise Tan said themselves about their lotions. They were saying theirs "activate" in 2-3 minutes compared to their competition's lotions which take 16-18 minutes. Clearly there is something wrong with this logic. Unless they are mixing their own lotions in which case you don't really know what is in them and therefore run the risk of having an allergic reaction. Either way, though, every lotion is designed to do the same thing...no "activation" required.

FYI know it all, Tanning lotions with melanin "activating" peptide These products enable even those with more sensitive skin to tan themselves, and also helps in anti-ageing, and sun protection. Melanin "activating" peptide is a water-soluble biomimetic peptide (peptides that are identical to the skin) that have very low molecular weights. It is able to ‘manipulate' processes within the epidermis by sybthesisxing melanin formation and regulating the immune system. Melanin activating peptide is exactly the same a-Melanotropin (Melanocyte Stimulating Hormone) which is naturally found in the skin.

Okay, but these are still the same lotions as as I understand it. Simply Divine, Mood, Ravishing, worship me, Perfectly Dark, etc...they are just formulated with extra "stuff". If there is a lotion that " activates" in 2-3 minutes, please tell me what it is so that I can buy some.

Here is what I have found online...
The production of Melanin is the body's natural protection from the sun. You produce Melanin so that you DON'T get burned over time. There are many different lotions that offer anti-aging ingredients..as well as the Melanin "activating" peptide. However, the previous post listed some that are now discontinued (Ravishing and Simply Divine). One would have to wonder if they are being discontinued due to low sales or ineffectiveness, or maybe they will be returning with a "more improved version"...who knows, but I would assume it is the prior. Anyway, Melanin activating peptides are not a NEW technology, they are just a feature of a lotion that incidentally did not do very well, therefore they are taking them off the market. I too would like to know what the deal is with the 2-3 minute "activation" times. I have found no information on this subject. Any ideas?

I have laid at paradise down for a long time now. Sure Mr. Miles has a reputation... but who doesn't? All that matters is that when I go there, they are VERY nice and accommodating.

Who cares, tanning is tanning. I think some people like to cause trouble. That's what uncivilized people who bought a computer out of their tax return do for fun lol.
