awful experience!!!!! by far the worst customer service we have ever experienced, took my kids ages eight-twelve years old and they the horse fell on the trail with me and my eight year old. we could no longer continue and they refused to give a discount for the ride even though we weren't on the trail longer than five minutes and the fall was do to the horses slipping and the staff had no concern for my eight year old. i can't help but feel that its a very un safe and they need to be trained better. the horses seemed to be spooked from the moment the came out of the stables.90 dollars for five minutes for the horse to fall with me and a kid they didn't care and wouldn't even give us a discount doesn't seem like a good deal to me.

i love horses allso and my lil girl loved them until we went to bills riding stables they put her on a one eyed horse who fell while she was on it and know she is terrified and we walked out of the gate on the horses and because her horse fell we came back we was on them maybe 5 min at the most and they wouldn't offer half r money back or even to come back for another time to finish so i payed 90$ to set on a horse and watch my Kidd get hurt i just think that was bad to do costumers not to mention how rude the staff was to us

Why are those horses falling? What if they fall on a child? Sounds to me like they need to be reported to humane society and have them checked. Those horses could be sick. Shame, not good way to run business. Thanks for post, will not take my kids there!!!!!

They're horses, animals. Animals are unpredictable. Just how sheltered are you people? Surely you folks ain't country folk? Bound to be from the big city. You all keep carrying on the way you are, you'll cause the federal government to mandate air bags and seat belts on horses.

smh

A reputable riding stable doesn't have horses that fall down when someone mounts them. Are you one of the people that work at this animal cruelty place? Sure, horses are unpredictable when spooked but not in a serene riding enviroment and the person should have gotten a refund or a raincheck at the very least. But I did say a reputable riding stable.

I'm sorry, but with the discussion I've watched unfold here, when you say mount, I'd imagine you're meaning for the horse to come out, bent at the front knees and flop it's tail up over it's back. Whether it tips over or not depends on condom color I guess.

Look a horse can't walk in mud, you may as well put it on ice. Stay of things that you have no control over, or thatís unpredictable. Keep your children off anything such as that as well, unless you understand that sh!t can happen.

I think you have been down wind from the horse manure and it has affected your reasoning. I would assume you as a parent signed a release of liability. Marks this as a lesson.......You have no business encouraging your kids to ride a horse.

Just who are you to tell a parent that they shouldn't encourage their kids to ride a horse? That's one of the most idiotic things I've heard. Should they tell the kids to be deathly afraid of a horse and never try to ride one? You must be one of those crazy extremists that wants to tell other people what to do because you want it that way. Sound like a Bloomberg.

Just to clarify what mounting a horse means. When a riding stable brings you to your mount, they usually have the horse standing next to a box that the rider stands on so as to not get on the horse by using the stirrups. They do this to help the horse from becoming swaybacked due to a high amount of riders and riders that might have a few extra pounds on them. I guess you aren't from the cowboy state after all.

Some of these tards act as if a mishaps, or accident would never, or could never happen while riding a horse. I'm guessing, and this one is just off the top of my head here, that the name Christopher Reeve set's off no alarms in their heads what so ever.

As said before. You folks keep acting dumb, and you'll cause the federal government to mandate air bags and seat belts on horses.

Horses are animals, therefore they can be unpredictable.

Ride at your own risk.
